The second generation Chevy II Nova was produced by GM for the 1966-1967 model years and included 2 -door, 4-door and 4-door station wagon versions. Of the 106,500 total vehicles built in 1967, only 12,900 were wagons. The base power plant was an inline 6-cylinder, 194 cubic inch motor mated to a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission with column mounted shifter. The top of the line for these models was the venerable 327 cubic inch V8 that turned the Nova into a proper muscle car! This tastefully customized 1967 Chevy II Nova Station Wagon is powered by a rebuilt 327 Chevrolet V8 with a mild cam added. This mill looks and sounds serious and features chrome detailing, new aluminum radiator, new headers and stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust system. On the exterior, the body was stripped to bare metal and bathed in 1967 Chevy Marina Blue. All the glass was replaced including new rubber, chrome trim, bumpers and molding pieces sourced via the OPG Company. Additional features include Four-Wheel CCCP Disc Brakes, power steering, AM/FM/CD Stereo and custom aluminum 17-inch wheels. We have a fantastic 1966 Chevy II Nova here in our Milwaukee location. It features a slick black paint with black interior with bucket seats and a center console automatic shifter. It features a 350ci small block Chevrolet boasting a little over 500hp. This is a rare car made for power, no air conditioning or power steering. Turn the key and feel it rumble, the sound it gives off is amazing. 1966 Chevy IIs introduced an extensive sharp-edged restyle based in part on the Super Nova concept car. In general, proportions were squared up but dimensions and features changed little. Highlights included a bold grille and semi-fastback roofline. "Humped" fenders in an angular rear end were reminiscent of larger 1966 Chevrolets, though the 1966 Chevy II and Nova had vertical taillights and single headlights. The lineup again started with Chevy II 100 and Chevy II Nova 400 models. For just $159 (equal to $1,199.27 today) more than a Nova 400, buyers could choose a Nova Super Sport. Available only in a Sport Coupe, the Nova SS was top of the line. The 194 cu in (3.18 L) inline-six was standard on the Super Sport, but any Chevy II (excluding four-cylinder) engine could be coupled with the SS. The Nova SS was visually distinguished by wide rocker panels and a bright aluminum deck lid cove. It had bright SS emblems on the grille and in the ribbed rear panel, and Super Sport script on the quarter panels. Wheel covers were inherited from the 1965 Malibu SS. Strato-bucket front seats were included, but a tachometer cost extra. The ’66 Chevy II sales brochure clearly promoted the Super Sport as the “Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport,” but the name "Nova" was not used anywhere on the body. Front and rear emblems displayed "Chevy II SS. In 1967, Chevy II was still the name of the vehicle, but the Nova SS option package replaced all Chevy II badging with Nova SS badging. The Nova was known for being the baby brother of the Camaro and Chevelle’s but that never stopped them from being just as powerful. This beautiful Nova has been very well cared for by its current owner of over 23 years with plenty of documentation to prove it. This beautiful machine runs off a strong 383 CID V8 which features Wiseco pistons, an Eagle Steel crank, Manley Billit rods, comp cams 242/248 at 50,000 with 110-degree lobe separation, Sportsman II Heads and much more. This car is a monster and needs to go back on the road. The engine is paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission and ran through using the B&M ratchet shifter. With tubed upper and lower control arms, upgraded suspension, custom traction bars, this car is ready for either the track or the street just take you pick. The car is even kitted with Nitrous if you ever feel the need for more power. Some additional documented upgrades include: Electric high-power master kit, radiator, fuel pump, water pump, drive shaft safety loop, hydra boost brakes, ring and pinion kit, aluminum radiator and hooker headers to give it the added rumble. This car also features dual 3” exhaust making this car roar through the powerband as it tears up the street. Outback is a Ford 9” rear end with 3.73 gears making this car an even better cruiser. The car can run on pump gas or high octane, take you pick. After 23 years of ownership and a ton of blood sweat and tears you would not be able to build this monster for less. We even have the receipts to prove the car is worth every bit and more. This ’67 Nova SS is a true 118 Vin coded car and is in great condition. Walking around the car, you simply can’t help but to admire the quality of work put into it. With freshly re-chromed bumpers, trim, and badging this car shows very well. The car is painted in a very nice teal blue color. The paint is PPG-DBC 4803WA146A if you ever have a minor nick or something you would like to touch up on the car. The car is sitting on American Racings wheels paired to a set of Sumitomo 245/55/17 in the rear with 245/45/17 in the front. The car also features 4-wheel disk brakes with the front being drilled and slotted to keep cool. Moving to the inside of the car you will find a fully functional roll cage has been installed. This is a bonus for those looking to take it to the track. For those looking for a daily driver you can feel confident in it’s safety as we all know how crazy the roads can get. The seats have received all new foam and reupholstered in a clean custom black vinyl interior with a color matching stripe running down the center. The 1962 Chevy II was never intended to be revolutionary in concept or execution, its mission was to give Chevrolet buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car. There was a lot of debate within the Chevrolet organization over just what to call this car, and the decision to go with "Chevy II" was a late one. Among the finalists was Nova, which lost out because it didn't start with a "C,". Ultimately the Nova badge would replace Chevy II, but that wouldn't happen until 1969. This amazing 1967 Chevy II is definitely a step up from the rest. With a stunning pearlescent white paint job with a flat black stripe on the hood. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a bad to the bone 1969 Chevrolet Nova. This ’69 Nova is a bit of a sleeper. From the outside, all you’ll see is a slick coat of burgundy paint, with plain jane steel wheels and hub caps. As long as the car isn’t running, you might be able to convince someone it’s just a base model Nova. It’s not until you crank up this beast that you’ll hear the Merlin block 427 roar and realize this is not your grandpa’s Nova. This Big Block beast runs GM aluminum cylinder heads and manifold. It has a Crower crank, roller rockers, forged rods, and of course, a sweet sounding set of headers. This Nova may be hopped up, but the appearance makes it looks factory. Under the hood, you’ll find a mostly stock looking Chevy engine bay from the orange block paint, to the chrome valve covers and air cleaner lid. Without he headers, you’d think it came from the factory that way. Inside you’ll find a factory style interior which is in great shape and features bucket seats as well as a center console to house the 4-speed shifter. This is a nicely documented build with most invoices from the engine build. It is a street car and has not been raced, although it could probably handle a drag strip quite well. We are excited to present this 1969 Chevrolet Nova now available at our Philly store. According to historical Chevrolet records This Nova which has been certified by Camaro Hi Performance is an original SS 396, L 78, 375 HP V8. It is equipped with a Muncie M21 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt 3:55 rear axle. It is all numbers matching. This SS 396 Nova coupe has been certified as real and authentic. The exterior paint has been changed to LeManns blue and is in good condition. The black interior is original and matches the trim identification tag on the firewall. The seats, dash and headliner appear to be original and are in excellent condition. The carpet has been replaced. The Sun tach and Sun gauges are all circa 1970s and in excellent condition. The original AM FM radio is still in the dash and functioning as it should. The engine compartment is clean and well detailed with some minor dress up items and factory decals. This car is a great driver. These big block Novas are getting harder and harder to find. This one with this powertrain is the one to have. This is a creation of the Chevrolet Task Force which was Chevrolet’s successor to the Advance Design truck series. The Task Force Series ran from late in 1955 through 1959. This was also known as the second series. The 1955 second series offered standard options and add-ons such as 12-v electrical, the firs V8 and fleet-side 6, 7 and 8 foot beds. First year for new body style. New "wrap-around" windshield a truck industry first and optional wrap-around rear window on Deluxe cabs. Power steering and power brakes became available for the first time on GM trucks. Electrical system upgraded to 12 volts. Only year for seven-foot bed length. Fenders have single headlights and one-piece emblem is mounted below horizontal line on fender. This truck is well optioned. It features a Vintage Air A/C system, power steering, power windows, power mirrors, power brakes, power locks and aftermarket and beautiful tan leather interior. The engine is rated at 330hp, so it has plenty of power to cruise down the road. You will also find an aluminum radiator and electric fans under the hood, helping keep this classic truck cool in those hot summer months. This old school street rod was built in the 1970’s with a steel body and rear fiberglass fenders. Sporting a very handsome two-tone red paint and silver painted pinstripe. Those exterior colors are matched with black naugahyde seats and matched headliner, door panels, seat belts and exterior roof. A Stewart & Warner Dash and gauges are sported for real time vehicle info and of course plenty of styling. Tilt steering column with a 15” Corvette steering wheel brings steering up to date. A small block Chevy 350 V8 with a high flowing 600CFM Holley Chrome Polished 4 Barrel Carb powers this street rod. Ram horn style exhaust manifolds go through turbo mufflers for exhaust. The powerplant is backed by a Turbo 350 Transmission that lets you take control via an automatic floor shifter. Covair front suspension supports the front end while Chevrolet Rear suspension remains in the back. Power drum brakes with a 7-inch booster, dual master cylinder with a proportional brake valve gets you to confidently and quickly slow down and stop right when you need to. A driveshaft safety loop underneath supports and braces the driveshaft. Chrome Lakewood ladder bars assist in getting traction to the rear wheels while contributing to this 5-windows classy styling. In addition to styling, true spoke mag wheels measuring 15”X 7” absolutely gleam when seen wrapped in the center of Indy Fire-hawk tires. The fuel tank has been cleaned, red coated and sports new mounting straps. When parked, you can really make a statement at any car show or cruise night with all of the functioning blue lights inside and underneath the truck turned on. Displaying the trucks interior is made easy by all windows operating as they should. Parking lights, running lights, engine bay lights are all operational as well. This street rod has also had routine maintenance performed. Both Front and Rear brake wheel cylinders & brake shoes were replaced. The transmission was serviced with new filter, gaskets and fluids, as well as the engine with new spark plugs installed and new fuel filter. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1971 Chevrolet K10 4WD. This massive 4-wheel drive classic truck features all its original panels, and original color combination of Hugger Orange with a white roof. The paint is a base coat/clear coat application and shines well. Powering this 71’ K10 is a 350 CID V8 engine that is believed to be original to the truck, as is the 4-speed manual transmission. The power disc brakes on the front have recently received new calipers and pads and the rear drums new shoes and wheel cylinders. A new 4-inch Rough Country lift kit with new shocks has been installed and provides the killer stance along with the 35x12.50 radial tires that are mounted to 15-inch GM rally wheels.
