If you’re looking to get into a great starter Mercedes, look no further! Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is now offering this 1984 Mercedes Benz 300SD. This diesel-powered Mercedes is equipped with Air Conditioning, Heated Seats, Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Automatic Transmission and Cruise Control. You’ll also love the leather seats with lumbar support.

Although the first W116 S-Class in the 1970s established Mercedes-Benz as a global leader in safety engineering and technical prowess for sedans, it was the next W126 S-Class, beginning in 1979, that saw this model become a top-tier luxury good, a true flagship, and a lasting symbol of affluence throughout the 1980s.

The smoothed-over styling of the W126 S-Class signaled a newfound focus on aerodynamics and fuel-efficiency. With a coefficient of drag 14 percent better than the previous model and curb weights starting around 3,600 pounds, this generation of S-Class was quite efficient for its time in its six-cylinder and diesel forms when compared to that era’s large American sedans. Safety and occupant protection were also unparalleled, with a driver airbag offered through most of the model run. Traction control was also introduced, as were seat-belt pretensioners.

This beautiful Mercedes Benz 300SD is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

Engine: 5.6L V8 F
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 94,670 ( undocumented )

We have an awesome 1987 Mercedes 560SL for sale here in our Milwaukee location. It features silver paint and a blue interior. An all original 5.6l with a 4 speed auto transmission. The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is a grand touring car manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sportlich-Leicht, (English: Sport Lightweight). The original idea was suggested by American importer Max Hoffman, who perceived a market for a toned-down Gran Prix car tailored to affluent performance enthusiasts in the booming post-war American market, which remains the primary market for the vehicles. The SL designation was first applied to the 300 SL, often referred to as the "Gullwing" due to its gullwing or upward-opening doors. The term SL refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning six design generations. The 300 SL base model was available as standard in a 5-speed manual although very few were sold. The SOHC 6 cylinder M103 is typically considered to have handling advantages with its lighter weight engine. The 560 SL was only sold in the USA, Canada, Japan, and Australia to compensate the reduced output of the 5.0-litres due to the stricter emission laws in these markets. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1987 Mercedes 560SL in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL

1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL

Engine: 3.8L V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 90,252 ( actual )

For sale in Dallas/Ft.Worth showroom is this 1981 Mercedes Benz-380SL. In 1980, Mercedes-Benz revamped its SL lineup of sporting luxury convertibles with the introduction of the 380SL. The 380 was an enhancement of the R107 chassis, which was first used in 1972 by the 350SL and then by the 450SL. This was an extremely popular model in the U.S. for its combination of V-8 power, refined luxury and sporty underneath carriage. The 380-SL was a lighter then its predecessor 450-SL, a 120 pounds lighter to be exact. Thus, it’s new V-8 3.8 liter engine was plenty of power for these vehicles. The new engine was designed with emissions controls in mind while the 450SL’s mill was not, which meant that the two engines were relatively equal in terms of power (155 hp in the 380SL vs. 160 hp in the 450SL) despite the difference in their displacements. Performance was similar for the two cars, as was fuel economy. This 1981 Mercedes Benz 380 SL has been family owned and passed down for over 25 years. All the paint has held up very well over the years. The interior is all original and pops with a bit of woodgrain installed in the dash. Another real stand out feature on this vehicle is those Dayton spoked wired wheels! Most certainly is going to catch anyone’s eye who sees them. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG

2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG

Engine: 5.5L V8 F 24V
Transmission: 5 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 86,408 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando Florida is proud to offer This 2003 Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG. Though most people do not realize the Mercedes Benz company’s origins are rooted in the early racing scene. One of probably the most notorious stories was in 1934 Alfred Neubauer, head engineer at the time, directed his crew to grind off all the paint on their factory backed race cars. It had nothing to do with looks but about weight. The company has come a long way since 34 with their biggest priorities being luxury and safety. This 2003 has both but those three little letters behind it is what makes this droptop so special. This 03 has a clean AutoCheck and is ready to hit the open road. Under the hood is the hand-built Supercharged 5.5 LTR V8 that is putting out just shy of 500 ponies. Capable of turning out quarter miles times in the high 12’s this is one luxury hotrod that is as fast as it is beautiful. Of course, with that kind of speed brakes are not your average setup. The 14.2-inch rotors on the front and 13’s in the rear are drilled and vented to stay cool under pressure. The eight piston calipers increase the clamping force tremendously and bringing this droptop down to a halt in very respectable distances. Hit the button and watch as the AMG becomes a transformer, the trunk kicks up as the steel roof is lowered away. Hit the other button and watch as the hideaway roll bar comes up. The interior is full of fun stuff with the bucket seats being covered in some of the nicest leather you have ever seen. If you have been wanting to get one of the nicest fastest droptop’s to ever hit the streets but can’t justify the 6 figure selling prices on newer ones. This well-maintained example could be the right way to go. Options on this 2003 Mercedes Benz Sl55 AMG include, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Convertible Top, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Cruise Control, Tilt Steering, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
