2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon LSX

2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon LSX

Engine: LS3 V8
Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,704 ( actual )

For sale in our Dallas Showroom is a Monster Rock Crawler, a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. The Rubicon is a very formidable off-road vehicle. Factory options to improve the off-road capabilities include electronic sway bar disconnect, to allow the front axle to articulate 33% more. Locking front and rear axles to improve traction are as easy as a push of a button. Those are just factory features! You’re not just anyone, that’s why you are looking for this Jeep. Underneath, this Jeep has a Metalcloak 3.5” short arm GameChanger lift kit with adjustable control arms in order to make room for the 38” red label General Grabber tires on 17” Method 308 wheels. Turning those monster tires is no problem at all, thanks to the Performance Steering Components hydro-assist system! The front axle is built for off-road. The Dana 44 front axle is already beefy enough, but when you add 4.88 gears, Poison Spyder differential cover, 32 spline RCV axle shafts, gussets, and Artec Industries truss, there’s nothing this crawler won’t do. The Rear Dana 44 has Ten Factory chromoly axle shafts, 4.88 gears, and a Poison Spyder differential cover as well to provide extra protection from big rocks. This Wrangler puts out enough light for you to still be able to enjoy it at night, with the Truck-Lite LED headlights, and the Rigid Industries D-series lights throughout. All run through a 6 switch sPOD system that keeps a very clean look for the switches. The interior has Bedrug carpeting to keep a clean look even in the dirtiest of situations. Did we mention this monster has an LS3? MoTech in Las Vegas built this Jeep with a crate LS3 motor, paired perfectly with a 6L80G transmission. Those things paired with an Advance Adapters Atlas 2 speed transfer case protected by EVO Manufacturing skid plates and Adams Driveshafts, there’s no stopping this machine. But to ensure this Wrangler does stop when you need it to, the Teraflex big brake kit in the front will handle that big motor with ease. Not only is this Wrangler built for adventure underneath, but it’s ready for anything on the body, as well. The bedliner finish on the outside of this Jeep guarantees to keep unwanted scratches and blemishes out of the question. The GenRight Low Profile Winch Guard front bumper keeps the Smittybilt 9.5k winch protected, so that you never get stranded if you can manage to find something this rig can’t do. Poison Spyder fenders and rear corners give this build a great look, along with protection. The Bestop NX gives you the ability to easily remove the top to ensure that you enjoy wherever this Jeep may take you. Despite the rugged exterior of this Rubicon, it is stilla comfortable place to command the road or trails, with A/C, AM/FM/CD, power windows, power locks, and hill descent control. If you want a Jeep that is built for whatever, then you’ve found your match. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD photos and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1981 Jeep CJ5

1981 Jeep CJ5

Engine: 268 CID I6
Transmission: 4- Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this 1981 CJ-5 Jeep Renegade! This one is powered by a 268 CID I6 with a T176 4-speed transmission. It has an AMC 20 and 3:31 gears and has only covered about 5,000 miles since the build. The exterior is finished in black PMG paint with a tan vinyl interior. The build was performed by Houston Gear and the quality is excellent. This Jeep is outfitted with an AM/FM radio, manual convertible top, spare tire, tilt wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, raised white letters and aluminum alloy wheels. The Willys CJ-5 (after 1964 Jeep CJ-5) was influenced by new corporate owner, Kaiser, and the Korean War M38A1 Jeep. It was intended to replace the CJ-3B, but that model continued in production. The CJ-5 repeated this pattern, continuing in production for three decades while three newer models appeared. "The CJ-5 has the distinct honor of being a vehicle that was hard to kill off... equaling the longest production run of note. From 1980 to 1983, the CJ-5 came standard with a "Hurricane"-branded version of the GM Iron Duke I4 with an SR4 close-ratio, four-speed manual transmission. The 258 cu in (4.2 L) AMC straight-6 engine remained available as an option, but the transmission was changed from the Tremec T-150 three-speed to a Tremec T-176 close-ratio four-speed. The Dana 30 front axle was retained, but the locking hubs were changed to a five-bolt retaining pattern versus the older six-bolt. The demise of the AMC CJ5 model has been attributed to a December 1980 60 Minutes segment where the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) staged a demonstration to illustrate that the CJ5 was apt to roll over "in routine road circumstances at relatively low speeds." Years later, it was revealed the testers only managed to achieve eight rollovers out of 435 runs through a corner. The IIHS requested the testers implement "vehicle loading" (hanging weights in the vehicle's corners inside the body, where they were not apparent to the camera) to generate worst-case conditions for stability Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time.
