Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. The 1960 Bonneville has a big, smooth, and impressive presence along with superior performance and handling for its time. The latter was not just ad copy, either, as Pontiac pushed its wheels further out toward the fenders than anyone else and created what were considered to be the best-cornering full-size cars in the industry. This exquisite example has gone through an extensive frame off restoration that was completed in 2000. The current owner has only put roughly 6,000 miles on the car since the restoration. This 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible is powered by its original, rebuilt 389 CID Tri-Power V8 engine and is backed by a 4-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. The current owner has only put roughly 6,000 miles on the car since the restoration. The exterior is painted in a beautiful light blue exterior color and is accented nicely with a white power convertible top. The interior was also redone nicely in a tri-color blue vinyl with new seat covers and convertible boot professional redone in 2013. This '60 Bonneville Convertible is also outfitted with Kelsey-Hayes 8 Lug Aluminum Alloy wheels which 1960 was the first year they were offered on Pontiacs. Options on this 1960 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Convertible Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Wide White Wall Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels. Some recent maintenance and work completed on this Bonneville include: New Brake Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, Master Cylinder, Brake Booster, and White Wall Coker Radial Tires. This car also comes with the original owner's manual, three shop manuals, receipts from the restoration, a car cover, and miscellaneous spare parts. If you have been looking for a great car to cruise with the top down, take to shows, or just cruise down those back country roads this Bonneville convertible will fit the bill nicely.

1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari

1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari

Engine: 5.7L LS1 V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 25,000 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is a unique 1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari wagon. This is not the family wagon that your dad bought in 1960! This baby has been customized from stem to stern. Covered in a rich Brandywine Metallic-over-Gray two-tone color scheme, this sleek restomod has a classic look with a modern touch. Inside, its custom tan interior sports synthetic leather seating (including a power driver's seat), with all new carpeting and headliner, a custom overhead console, custom door panels, and dual front and rear Vintage A/C systems. The custom-ride nature continues with its tilt column, topped by a billet aluminum steering wheel, AM/FM/CD radio with 4 speakers, and tinted glass all around. Its digital dash helps the driver monitor the critical functions of the Nickens Brothers-built Corvette LS1 and 4L60E auto trans, which only have about 25K miles since being transplanted into their new host. A custom ECU with PSI wiring harness provide modern serviceability and enable the use of all the new electronic goodies needed for the LS1/4L60E combo. The stout LS1 breathes in via a custom Spectre CAI, and exhausts via a custom dual exhaust setup that sounds great. A big Champion aluminum radiator with electric fan helps keep the powerplant running cool, and a finned transmission cooler helps do the same for the 4L60E. Its Air Ride suspension has plenty of RideTech parts, and the controls and gauges to monitor the pressures are housed in a custom console to the left of the driver's seat. Naturally, all these accoutrements will get the driver's juices flowing enough that the speedometer may be overlooked enough that a good set of brakes become crucial. Of course, that's been thought of too, with huge Corvette slotted/cross-drilled rotors up front, and slotted/cross-drilled Wilwood rotors out back - all of which are nabbed by the Corvette front calipers and Wilwoods at the rear, which serve to scrub off the excess velocity you may have inadvertently generated during spirited driving. Its extra-meaty ultra-low profile Falken performance radials (235/35-19 front, 275/35-20 rear) help keep plenty of rubber on the road whilst you're barreling down the interstate, and they are set off nicely by the Intro Retro billet wheels that they're wrapped around. Additional options on this custom 1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari station wagon for sale include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD Radio, Aluminum Wheels, Power Brakes, Power Driver's Seat, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Synthetic Leather Seating, and Tilt Wheel. 1956 Pontiac Star Chief

Engine: 317 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Hydromatic
Mileage: 1,601 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1956 Pontiac Star Chief for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Star Chief is an automobile model that was manufactured by Pontiac in between 1954 and 1966. It was Pontiac's top trim package on the Pontiac Chieftain, with later generations built on longer wheelbases, and serving as the foundation platform for the Pontiac Bonneville. The car was easily identified by its chrome star trim along its sides, a feature all Star Chiefs were equipped. For 1956 the design was lightly revised, with heavier looking bumpers and a vertical slash on the front door above the swage line. This beautiful Star Chief was a frame off restoration in 2010 by the third and current owner. Under the hood is the original 316 CI V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Both were gone through extensively when the car was restored. The odometer reads 1600 miles which are true to the car since the restoration. The white and coral exterior and interior match perfectly and make this car look exactly like it is supposed to. This car looks, runs and drives like a dream. The chrome and all the body lines on this car are gorgeous and make you feel like you are sitting in 1956 all over again. 1964 Pontiac GTO

1964 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 389 CID
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 125,393 ( actual )

This very original GTO was purchased brand new back 1964 from a dealership in Atlanta, Georgia and has been kept in the same family ever since! This numbers matching first generation GTO is a true survivor and is being offered up to a new home. Sitting under the hood is the 389 cubic inch V8 that is paired up to the original 2-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission are very strong even after all these years and have plenty of road trips our weekend outings left in them. The body on the car is straight and clean with only one repaint in the early 90’s where it was painted using the same color it came from the factory with. As you slide into the original interior and get comfortable in the bucket seats, it is as if you stepped back into 1964. The white vinyl interior contrasts nicely against the blue paint and the aluminum spun inserts top it all off. A couple pumps on the gas pedal and the turn of a key brings the 389 to life! Drop it down into drive and you are off and cruising. The suspension soaks up the bumps in the road yet is still tight and very controlled. The power steering and power brakes makes controlling this big car a breeze. This is 1964 GTO is what started the muscle car era and is now an icon in the American automotive scene. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Pontiac GTO in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
