1934 Chevrolet Victoria

1934 Chevrolet Victoria

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 11,374 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville, Tennessee showroom is perhaps the best equipped 1934 Chevrolet Sedan on the road today. This 1934 Chevrolet Sedan is the epitome of street rod and exudes performance and style. If the devil is in the details, somebody call a priest… this car is downright sinister. Shaking the ground under this ride is a dual quad full roller Chevrolet Performance ZZ4 crate 350 pushing out over 400ftlbs of earth moving torque! Everything under the hood has been polished and the block has even been smoothed and painted, there isn’t a surface that was left stock in appearance. Under the car you’ll find chrome and polished parts from the upper and lower control arms and spindles, to the Borgenson chrome steering shaft and u-joints. This level of customization continues with the body and it quickly becomes evident that this is anything but your run of the mill sedan, it’s been chopped, nosed, decked, shaved, frenched, and tucked. The windows operate from a central billet aluminum control panel on the ceiling and the doors are opened by key fob. The interior of this 1934 Chevrolet is stuffed full of custom Bobby Griffey seats and color matched leather. Rather than chrome, this ride is sporting polished billet aluminum on every surface you can imagine from the digital billet dash and gauge cluster, to the billet steering wheel and interior door handles. This dark chariot of power and cool rides on custom billet wheels with a rake that makes it look like it’s doing the ton while sitting still… be the envy of your neighborhood and the talk of the next cruise-in. With this car it’s likely you’ll never leave a car show empty handed again... For more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Engine: 350CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 26,115 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1937 Chevrolet Coach flat back. This ’37 Chevy for sale has been painted faux rust, to give it that old, found it in a barn yard full of chickens look. But do not let the looks fool you; this is one solid well-built ride! While this car looks as if you might have to push it at any given moment, under the hood lives a snappy, well-built Chevrolet 350 cubic inch V8 mighty mouse topped with a dual plane intake capped with a quick fuel four-barrel carburetor. To provide the spark is a High Energy Ignition system. Backing this power plant is a GM TH350 Turbo Automatic Transmission giving you smooth shifts and dependability. Rams head headers take care of the exhaust that is then routed out the back through dual exhaust. This 1937 flat back for sale might look old and tired, and while she is old, this old girl has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. Open the door and you will see a lot of burgundy velour on the door panels and the seats as well, but look closely, is that power window switches? You bet it is. Now do not overlook the air conditioning controls as well, although the owner tells us it needs to be recharged. As for seat belts, this 1937 flat back coach for sale uses R.J.S. racing equipment belts for all five seats! Owning this 37 Chevy for sale could be fun in so many ways like telling your brother in law that if he grabs the six pack from the trunk he can have one. Then sit back and enjoy watching him try to find a trunk on this classic ride. This old lady looks like she is cruising at 50 miles per hour while sitting still. With classic lines, running boards and that iconic flat back all wrapped up in faux rust this car will be the hit at your next cruise in. 1938 Chevrolet Coupe

1938 Chevrolet Coupe

Engine: 6.2 L LS3 V8
Transmission: 6-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1,192 ( since rebuilt )

Freshly-minted and now for sale in our Houston showroom is this spectacular all-steel 1938 Chevrolet Coupe. Cloaked in a pristine Porsche Guards Red PPG finish, this is one for all ages. The restoration started with the steel body shell, and a Superior Glass Works Chassis, with fully boxed steel frame rails. Everything was taken to bare metal before any finish work was begun. A new LS3 crate motor was installed, with a FAST intake and FAST fuel rails. A set of coated shorty headers and a full stainless 2.5” exhaust setup, complete with stainless X-pipe, scavenges the spent fuel to the rear with a throaty burble. To the aft of the beefy powerplant, a new 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with a 3200RPM stall torque converter to aid in providing excellent launches. The 6-speed auto provides excellent highway cruising capabilities, with surprisingly efficient operation. There are two dual finned-aluminum transmission coolers for the tranny to help it keep it at optimum temperature during spirited driving. Controlling the 6L80E’s shifts is a Corvette-style shifter, complete with electronic paddle-shift control capabilities on the gear knob. You’ll feel comfortable knowing that you can drive this thing like its sportscar powertrain wants you to, with handling and ride to match. The front end is a complete Heidts SupeRide II independent front suspension, with tubular upper and lower control arms, sway bar, QA1 adjustable coil-over shocks, 12” Wilwood disk brakes and calipers, and a power rack and pinion steering setup. Out back are QA1’s, a triangulated 4-bar link setup, torsion-style sway bar, an all-new quick-change Currie Ford 9” rear end and third member with 2.75:1 gears and a True-Track limited slip differential, and 11” Wilwood disk brakes and calipers complete with E-brake. The power-assisted braking setup is also equipped with a proportioning valve, allowing for fine-tuning the front/rear braking balance. A set of Nitto performance radials (215/50-17 front, 235/65-17 rear) wrapped around American Racing Salt Flat Special 5-hole wheels help keep this retro-rod stuck to the pavement. Inside this modernized classic, you’ll find that all the chrome trim shines like it’s brand new, and it is abundant. From the chrome window surrounds, windshield and rear window trim, to the door and window levers, everything glistens. There are a few hidden secret gems, too: the chrome window cranks don’t move – a light touch upward will raise the power windows, and a similar light touch will lower them. Equipped with what seems to be power everything, this car has plenty of creature comforts that one wouldn’t expect in a vintage auto. Power windows, power locks, a trick Painless “Phantom Key” Keyless Ignition with a proximity-sensing key fob (which provides a very cool pushbutton start and is part of the security system), custom Vintage Air system with billet nozzles, and power seats with 8-way adjustability and lumbar support cover most of the features, but not all. In addition, there is a Bluetooth compatible audio system that has near audiophile sound, USB ports on the console, cupholders, LED interior (and exterior) lighting, and tilt steering wheel all add up to providing a supremely comfortable, modern-feeling ride. The tinted glass all around help the Vintage Air system keep things cold in the summer, and toasty in those colder months (for when you can’t wait to drive this beauty until Spring). And, you’ll want to drive this car year-round, because when you’re in the cabin, the smell of the custom furniture-grade leather is intoxicating. This superb leather covers nearly everything including the headliner, and it provides such a pleasant aroma that it will make Bentley and Rolls owners jealous. If you do get caught in the rain, the 2-speed electric windshield wipers will keep your forward vision clear, and the powerful LED head- and tail-lights will keep the road lit (and keep you visible). 1960 Chevrolet Impala

1960 Chevrolet Impala

Engine: 283 CID V8
Transmission: 2-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 18,176 ( actual )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speed minder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.
