The Ford Torino was produced between 1968-1976 and most remembered for the red/white 1975 “Starsky & Hutch” special and several NASCAR racing adaptations. The car was named after the city of Turin, Italy (pronounced “Torino” in Italian) considered the Detroit equivalent in Italy. The Torino Cobra, fitted with a 429cid (7.0 L) “Cobra-Jet” engine was the no-nonsense pure performance model. While the Torino GT was trimmed with a non-functional hood scoop, the 1970 429 Cobra featured a real version attached to the air cleaner assembly that protruded through a hole in the hood. This became known as a “shaker” due the fact that it vibrated when the engine was running. The 429 CJ is rated at 370 hp and includes a 2-bolt main block and hydraulic lifters. This Marti documented, 1970 stunner has a 1971 replacement engine mated to the original 3.91 Traction-Lok differential and four-speed close-ratio manual transmission. The ginger interior offsets the frame-off restored red exterior nicely. The car rolled off the assembly line on January 22, 1970 in Dark Ivy Green Metallic paired with the same ginger interior. Additional features include power front disc brakes, AM Radio, color keyed racing mirrors and tachometer. This incredible 1970 Ford Cobra Sport Roof is in is located at our Milwaukee showroom. If you are looking for a low mileage 1968 Ford Galaxie 500XL with a big block, look no further! This three owner car has no problem with traction thanks to the locking differential that houses the 3.25 gears. For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this fantastic 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. This story begins on September 5, 1967 when the Fastback left the Ford plant in Metuchen, New Jersey. We are looking here at an original S-Code 390ci 4-barrel carburetor V8 big block 68 Mustang Fastback with a 4 speed manual transmission. It was also ordered with the GT Equipment Group. Now you get the idea of what this Fastback is all about and we are thrilled to have it here with us in our South Florida showroom. The Fastback shows very well and drives even better. The blue exterior is just beautiful and it comes with a clean and loaded interior. First thing you will see is the nice center console when you open the door. Just continue looking around and you will also find an overhead console and a nice brushed aluminum dash and much more. There are no cracks in the dash, seats or anywhere else. Powered by a 390ci V8 engine this pony moves forward. In combination with the 4 speed manual transmission it’s just a blast to drive the Fastback. The disc brakes on all 4 wheels will get you to a stop as fast as you will take off in this Mustang. No reason to be worried to get sweaty stains on the nice and clean wooden steering wheel, the A/C is blowing cold. Another very comfortable option is of course the power steering. Folks, this is the real deal here. Everybody wants one and don’t wait too long on this one. Grab the phone and give us a call. You will get more attention with this car than Enzo in his Ferrari. For sale in our Nashville Tennessee showroom is a loud and proud 1970 Ford Mustang. This 1970 Ford Mustang for sale is all that is American, with the ready to rumble exhaust and long lines that stretch from front to back this car is meant for car shows and cruise ins. Powering this mighty machine is a 351C V8, what is the “C” mean? Well it’s a Cleveland built engine and in the motor world that means more power and a heftier build. Backing this Powerplant is a 4-speed manual transmission.Keep in mind the this is a Numbers Matching car "as stated by the owner" and it will not be going down in value. This will give you the opportunity to drop a gear and show these late model cars what true muscle is! The exterior of this road monster is draped in a Grabber Blue which is notorious with the Ford Mustangs, hence beast mode! You do not see a Ford Focus in Grabber Blue because the Mustang would most likely stop and eat it for lunch if it saw it. The interior of this 1970 Ford Mustang for sale is a soft and plush white Vinyl interior that gives both driver and passenger that same creature comforts. Close your eyes and imagine a stout V8 firing up, with the lope of the cam and the build of the exhaust system giving it that rowdy “ potato potato potato sound that gives the feeling that you are running 100MPH at a standstill…… Sounds amazing to me. Options on this 1970 Ford Mustang include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering, Seatbelts, Vinyl interior and performance BF Goodrich radial tires wrapped around two tone black and chrome rally wheels! The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1968 Ford Torino GT. This SportsRoof 302 Torino has a 3-speed automatic transmission and an original feel. In 1968 Ford Motor Company introduced its intermediate line with a new body and new styling. Along with the new body and styling came a new subseries in the Fairlane line, the Torino. Styling was all new for the 1968 Fairlane/Torino, and it was drastically changed from the 1967 models. The new intermediate had grown in size and weight, and a new fastback model was added. The front fascia featured a full width recessed grille, with horizontal quad headlights placed at the outer edges. Horizontal dividing bars were featured in the grille depending on the model. Parking lights were placed at the outer edge of the front fenders and wrapped around the corner to also act as side marker lights (a new requirement in 1968). The body sides were smooth with one horizontal body crease running just below the beltline from front to back. The taillights were rectangular in shape and vertically situated in the rear panel above rear bumper. Reverse lights were located in the middle of the taillights, and small side marker lights were located on the rear edge of the quarter panel. Fastback models, which Ford called "SportsRoof," featured a slightly concaved rear taillight panel unique to that body style. The new SportsRoof body style featured a gently sloped long roof line that extended to the edge of the trunk lid. This new fastback body style gave the Fairlane and the Torino excellent aerodynamics that would later prove to be advantageous on the race track. Options include: AC, Hub caps, radial tires, seat belts, and vinyl interior. This To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1929 Ford Coupe. Do you want to be ordinary or extraordinary? If your answer is extraordinary, then you have chosen the right “Hot Rod.” When you think of a “Hot Rod” or “Muscle Car”, the first cars that come to mind are Camaro’s, Mustang’s, Cuda’s, etc. This is none of the above and yet, it’s still one super cool “Hot Rod.” It is a tie for first place when it comes to what catches your attention initially, but one thing is for certain and two things are for sure, your answer will either be the bright yellow paint, or the sound of the mean 383 stroker motor. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be wrong. The yellow paint is bright enough to make you feel like your looking at the sun, which is offset by a beautiful strategically placed flat back hood and black capped roof. The real show stopper of the exterior is the exposed chromed-out engine displaying chrome long tube headers. Just when you thought you thought you had the color combination figured out, another twist appears. Take a look inside and you will find burgundy bucket seats. Talk about extraordinary! Don’t worry about being squished in this coupe either, there’s plenty of room to fit four comfortably. Three’s company, four is a crowd, so load up your friends and family and enjoy cruising this “Sweet” ride. The 350 turbo automatic transmission will allow you to keep a hand free at all times to wave at the onlookers as they acknowledge your ‘29 Ford Coupe. Options include AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. It’s nice to be part of the in-crowd, but it is even better when you are the cause of the crowd.
