For sale in our Indianapolis Showroom is a 1966 Pontianc GTO. This GTO in Marina Blue Paint with brand new Black Interior is a real beauty. All the chrome shines nicely and the Crager Wheels are in great shape. This American Muscle car has a 389 hooked to an Automatic Transmission. The build was completed less than 500 miles ago and it shows. This a true numbers matching orignal car. This GTO has Power Brakes Power Steering Tilt WHeel and working AC.
The GTO became a separate Pontiac model (model number 242) in 1966, instead of being an "option package" on the Tempest LeMans. The entire GM "A" body intermediate line was restyled that year, gaining more curvaceous styling with kicked-up rear fender lines for a "Coke-bottle" look, and a slightly "tunneled" backlight. The tail light featured a rare louvered cover, only seen on the GTO. The GTO was available as a pillared coupe, a hardtop (without B-pillars), and a convertible. Also an automotive industry first, plastic front grilles replaced the pot metal and aluminum versions seen on earlier years. New Strato bucket seats were introduced with higher and thinner seat backs and contoured cushions for added comfort and adjustable headrests were introduced as a new option. The instrument panel was redesigned and more integrated than in previous years with the ignition switch moved from the far left of the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Four pod instruments continued, and the GTO's dash was highlighted by walnut veneer trim. Although Pontiac had strenuously promoted the GTO in advertising as the "GTO tiger," it had become known in the youth market as the "goat."
The car comes with documentation of the build and parts list in a nicley organized binder. This 1966 Pontiac GTO for sale is located in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1964 Pontiac GTO. When I was young we used to say that the GTO stood for gas, tires and oil for the three things this car would burn though in a hurry if you had a heavy foot. This GTO for sale is coated in medium blue and looks like it was laid down yesterday. With straight body lines that are crisp and clean and a fresh coat of paint this car has an almost new look. Open the door and slide into the vinyl bucket seat and you are instantly transported back into the seventies. With the large steering wheel and horseshoe shifter in the center console this car screams classic muscle. But if you want to really hear a scream, open the hood and cover your ears. The scream you hear will be your on! Some will scream that the engine compartment contains a Chevy big block that measures 454 cubic inches, other will scream that it isn’t a Pontiac 389. Either way you have to agree that the muscle under the hood is sufficient to move this Pontiac GTO at a rapid pace and enough torque to bend the hinges on the driver’s seat. A holley ® four barrel carburetor feeds the fuel and a set of headers help to wish away the exhaust. Backing this rambunctious Rat is the bullet proof (please don’t attempt to disprove this theory) turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission that handles the gears and shifts (pun intended) the power to the rear axle that houses a set of 3.73 gears. This classic muscle car for sale is sure to make you smile from the moment you see it until you slowly shut the garage door and turn off the light after your last drive. Options for this 1964 GTO for sale include AM/FM radio, Power steering, Power brakes, Hub caps, Seat belts, Hub caps, Radial Tires and Alloy wheels. Today we know that reaction as the muscle-car era. By 1966, all the domestic automobile manufacturers had their response to the GTO. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic red 1964 Pontiac GTO. In 1964 the Pontiac GTO was introduced as trim level of the Tempest, and the Muscle car era took off. Eventually in 1966, the GTO earned its own model designation, and again a trim option from 1972 to 1974. The GTO made a late model comeback in 2004, but most agree that Pontiac dropped the ball on the design of the car, and it was gone again after the 2006 model year. Many muscle cars would come and go, but the GTO would always be considered one of the best and most desired. The 64’ GTO was smaller than later models, sporty, and very quick. The exterior of this 1964 GTO is coated in a bright red that stands out, loud and proud. Looking inside the classic muscle car you will find black vinyl interior with a the heavily desired center console. Under the hood is a 389 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 3-spd automatic transmission with a B&M shifter. One unique feature of this '64 GTO is the fact that it has a direct drive timing gear which gives the impression that maybe this Pontiac isn't naturally aspirated! The odometer reads 67,068, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1964 Pontiac GTO include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. A red on black 1964 GTO is a welcomed addition to any show or cruise, the one that started it all always has a seat at the table. To view this 1964 Pontiac GTO in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Very few cars have survived this long and remained in this great of condition without being totally restored! This beautiful 1965 GTO Convertible in cameo ivory paint truly is untouched and still retains the original equipment that it rolled off the showroom floor with when it was brand new. The numbers matching 389 cubic inch V8 has been rebuilt with less than 2,500 miles on it since rebuild and fires up with ease thank to the meticulous maintenance through the years. If the condition of this car isn’t enough to attest to the great care taken then the binder full of receipts will take you on a trip through history also. Sitting behind the wheel of this muscle car is definitely a privilege. Gripping the shifter for the 4 speed Muncie transmission that was a rear option for these cars really transports you back in time and makes you feel like you are speeding even while sitting still. Exhaust gases are expelled through a set of dual stainless steel Flowmasters. Giving the car it’s stance are the chrome Crager wheels wrapped in radial tires. But if those are not your style the original wheels and hub caps are included. Chrome dash accents along with hardware compliment the black interior. Keeping you cool while you enjoy the ride is the dealer installed air conditioning. If you are more into cruising with the top down then you will truly appreciate the recently replaced black power convertible top! Full PHS documentation package is included with the sale of this GTO as well as a protecto plate and original manuals. Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one very cool 1965 Pontiac GTO. You won’t be able to help yourself from humming “Little GTO” when you fire up this bright red beauty. As Ronnie and the Daytonas sung in their 60’s classic, “Turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO”. This ’65 has the iconic 3 deuces and a 4 speed that any Pontiac fan can appreciate. It sports a Pontiac 400 from a ’68, but still has the look and feel you’d expect from a ’65. The snappy red exterior is set off with a set of polished Cragar SSs wrapped in white wall tires. This one sports a unique white vinyl top which matches the white vinyl interior. Front buckets and a floor shifter leave no questioning what type of car this is: a true muscle car. This is however, the gentleman’s muscle car, so a wood rimming steering wheel and wood grain dash dress up the cabin. Power steering and power brakes are a must in a full sized car with the power that this one has. When you hit wide open throttle, you can hear all 3 carbs gulping fresh air to feed the beast. Needless to say, they just don’t make them like they used to. This little slice of muscle car history is available in our Dallas showroom. Swing by for a closer look, or check out www.GatewayClassicCars.com for 100+ photos and a video. Contact 817-310-9400 or email@example.com with inquiries.

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is pleased to offer this amazing, ONE-OWNER 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible! It’s red, it’s ready, and it’s quite a find. The current owner purchased this GTO on June 8, 1968 from City Sales and Service Pontiac in Muncie, Indiana…and it’s been lovingly cared for it’s entire life. Original MSRP window sticker, factory build tags, dealership paperwork, owner’s manual, original keys, and even the installment bank note, are all available to go with the sale! The original 400 V8 fires to life with every turn of the key, and the burble from the exhaust lets everybody know this GTO means business. The 4-speed manual transmission got a new clutch in 2016, and puts the power down through the posi-track rear axle, making this a car that begs to be driven! The power convertible top works like the day it was new, and looks great up, but so much better when it’s down. Factory options include, dual exhaust, red-line tires, power windows, power steering and brakes, the original wood steering wheel, an am/fm radio, rally gauge cluster, seat belts and remote outside mirror. The ’68 was the second generation for this body, and was awarded the 1968 Motor Trend Car of the Year. “Little GTO…You’re really lookin’ fine…” You can almost hear the song as you ride in this beautiful 1965 Pontiac GTO. This amazing numbers matching convertible packs a 389 cubic inch V8 engine, with added Tri-Power intake and Posi-Traction rear end and 323 gear ratio. It also comes with the protecto plate and Pontiac Historical Services documentation. The GTO’s creation involved transforming the upcoming second-generation Pontiac Tempest into a "Super Tempest", or "Grand Tempest Option", with a larger 389 cu in Pontiac V8 engine from the full-sized Pontiac Catalina and Bonneville in place of the standard 326 cu in V8. By promoting the big-engine "Grand Tempest" as a special high-performance model, they could appeal to the speed-minded youth market. The GTO disregarded GM's policy limiting the A-body intermediate line to a maximum engine displacement of 330 cu in (5.4 L). Pontiac general manager Elliot "Pete" Estes approved the new model, although sales manager Frank Bridge, who did not believe it would find a market, insisted on limiting initial production to 5,000 cars. This 1965 GTO is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (262) 891-4253 for additional information.

If there is one thing most Trans Am admirers can agree upon, it is the disappointing output of the third generation’s 305 and 350 TBI/TPI motors. However, our newest arrival here at the Dallas Gateway Classic Car showroom has rectified this common complaint. This beautiful example of a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA will not only have you floored in the visual department, but will exceed your performance expectations as well. A complete powertrain swap to a LQ4 6.0 V8 and 4L80E transmission from the boat-anchored 350 TPI she came with was performed by Larry’s Speed & Custom of Fort Worth approximately 3000 miles ago. No expense was spared in completing this build, and all necessary swap components were employed. Custom wiring harness, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Walboro 255 LPH fuel pump, Holley EFI fuel rails paired with an LS1 intake, billet coil brackets, LSSimple alternator kit, BMR adjustable torque arm, and BRP headers with muffler delete. Hawks motor mounts and a Blackheart transmission crossmember keep the new powertrain properly supported while you dust Vette-after-Vette. New calipers hugging drilled and slotted rotors insure a positive and pulse-free stop. Additionally, the interior was upgraded to a custom, yet tastefully-upgraded upholstery. The body of this GTA has only 82,688 miles, so this bird’s skeleton was a great candidate for this impressive and popular swap. For more HD pictures and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
