Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 57,822 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. In 1980, the Corvette received an integrated aerodynamic redesign that resulted in a significant reduction in drag. After several years of weight increases, 1980’s Corvettes were lighter as engineers trimmed both body and chassis weight.[14] In mid-1981, production shifted from St. Louis, Missouri to Bowling Green, Kentucky, the current home of the iconic of American sports car. The 1981 models were the last available with a manual transmission until well into the 1984 production run. The coke bottle design body is never more present in the 1982 body and epitomizes the shape like no other car. The last of the body style and if you gals name for Stacy or Patty, you will remember the time of the early 1980’s in this ride. When you look over the hood and feel the fighter laid back cockpit you will be transported to a time where the car made the driver. The options include: Power steering, power brakes, AC, power windows, automatic transmission, T-tops, alloy wheels, seat belts, AM/FM radio, and radial tires. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1982 Chevrolet Corvette

1982 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 5.7L V8 FI OHV
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 28,291 ( actual )

For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1982 red on red Chevrolet Corvette with T-Tops. This is a gorgeous all original C3 Corvette, with only 28,295 actual miles. The same year this Corvette rolled off the assembly line. Michael Jackson releases his album “Thriller” and Jordache Jeans are all the rage. The third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels. It introduced monikers that were later revived, such as LT-1, ZR-1, Z07 and Collector Edition. This was also the first time that a Corvette was used as a Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500. This timeless classic is powered by a 350 CID Cross Fire V8, backed by a four-speed automatic. With factory A/C, red leather seats and steering wheel, and glass T-Tops. 1982 saw the debut of the “Cross-Fire Injection” fuel delivery system. This TBI (Throttle Body Fuel Injection) was not the type of fuel injection installed previously in some C1 and C2 Corvettes. It utilized two throttle bodies combined with Chevrolet’s computer control system. The engine produced 200 HP and was mated to a new four-speed automatic transmission with torque converters bypass in the top three gears. Compared to the previous Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed, the new 700-R4 transmission had a lower first and second gear for improved low-end acceleration, and a fourth gear overdrive that would reduce engine RPM by 30 percent at highway cruising speeds, resulting in better fuel economy. The final model C3 Corvette's published performance numbers were 0-60 in 7.9 seconds-the quarter-mile in 16.1 @ 85 mph. This was the last year for 8-track tape availability and new “cross-fire injection” emblems appeared on front fenders. Nose and fuel door crossed-flags emblems changed to a more squared design. 1980 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: TH-350 Automatic
Mileage: 50,546 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a metallic black 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. This hot rod Corvette is no longer powered by the stock 350, in its place is a massive 454 CID Big Block V8 engine. The 454 has been bored .060 over and features an Eagle crank and rods, SRP pistons, a hydraulic cam, HRS aluminum heads, double roller timing chain, a Quick Fuel carburetor, aluminum/alloy valve covers and intake, and a Moroso oil pan. An aluminum radiator helps keep this monster running cool on hot summer days. Headers flow from the HRS heads to the full exhaust with the option of electric cutouts for a truly jaw rattling sound. A TH-350 automatic transmission, with a custom gated shifter, transfers the power to the pavement. The metallic black exterior paint shines beautifully and provides a menacing look to this hot rod Corvette. The black leather interior features a custom console that quickly removes for easy access if need be. New carpet and door panels help make this interior new again as well. The odometer reads 50,546, although the actual mileage is unknown, just over 300 miles have been put on the car since the build was complete. Options for this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette include: Leather Interior, Seat Belts, T-Tops, Power Windows, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Radial tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. The late C3 Corvette is not known to be a high horsepower car, so when you pull up to the stop light in this Big Block powered 80’ Corvette you are a bit of a sleeper. You can let you secret be known by throwing a switch and engaging the cutouts, or you can choose to be somewhat of a silent assassin, until the light turns green of course. To view this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. 1980 Chevrolet Corvette

1980 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: L48
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 61,128 ( undocumented )

We are happy to offer for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Saint Louis Showroom this 3-Speed Automatic 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. This is a third generation Corvette, patterned after the Mako Shark II concept car, which was introduced for the 1968 model year and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use of T-top removable roof panels. 1981 was the final year this vehicle was built in Saint Louis. The first thing you may think of when you see this classic from Chevrolet is a very unpopular song called 'Little Red Corvette' by a marginally talented musician who sometimes went by the name of 'Prince', but at other times went by a symbol and had a fascination of what happens when you marry the colors red and blue together. As far smooth running, powerful sounding, and easy transition to the higher speeds, this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette with a L48 underneath the hood is everything that you would expect. When we took this vehicle into our inventory everything worked perfectly, except for the interior dome light. Recently replacement work included: New Steering Gear-box, New Interior Door Panels on the Driver and Passenger Door, New Power Window Switches in the Center Console, and New Door/Latch Assemblies in the Driver and Passenger Door. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For even more information, please call 618-271-3000 or email STL@GatewayClassicCars.com to speak with one of our knowledgeable sales consultants.

The air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise control and a tilt wheel give this sports car a taste of luxury. Power steering and power brakes make it a pleasure to drive as well. The 1981 model year was the first for production at the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant. There were no engine options for the Corvette that year. This was the first year a power driver’s seat was available in Corvette and this one has it. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don’t miss out on this classic ’57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
