The entire cab of the truck features an all new welded construction, to make a much stronger cab and a three-point type of suspension system, resulting in a much smoother, softer ride. Although this truck still has its classic and timeless styling exterior, it features the beating heart of the highly detailed and chromed, customized legendary, 350 Cubic Inch, legendary small block Chevy show and go, highly tuned engine with 4-barrel carb and is mated to a TH350 turbo hydramatic transmission. Most of the chrome and stainless are either recently re-chromed or new and are free of any pitting, giving a mirror like shine! All the emblems, are new and beautifully detailed, and are free of any pitting and age. The wide-white wall Tires and Hub Caps are free of any marks or curb rash, (front wheels and soft tires are brand new) keeping the trucks styling firmly planted in 1948. Engine: 216 CID Inline 6 CylinderTransmission: 3-Speed ManualMileage: 95,073 ( undocumented )
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a wonderfully restored 1952 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window Pickup. This old Chevy Pickup began its life as a farm truck. Back in those days you had to identify your truck with a company logo for hauling purposes, so this 52’ 3100 was emblazed with a family farm logo until it was restored. The two-year frame off restoration was completed in 1997 and the truck has traveled less than 100 miles since then. Used mostly for parades and short trips around a small Missouri town, this truck has seen a life of luxury in the last 20 years. It is believed to be a 2-owner truck and believed to have the original drivetrain still in place. The 216 CD inline six-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission were completely checked over, were still in very good working order, and were not rebuilt at the time of the restoration simply because they didn’t need to be. They sure don’t make’em like they used to. The red, single stage, exterior paint looks great, and shows that the restoration was a quality one. The interior still looks new, with little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 95,073, the actual mileage is unknown, and there are about 100 miles on the frame off restoration. Options for this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 include: Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, and Bias Ply Tires. Getting behind the wheel of this old farm truck and shifting gears via the 3-on-the-tree, takes you back to 1952, and a simpler time. This 52’ 5 Window could be used in many different forms, a local show truck, an advertisement piece for a small business, or just a nice cruiser on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
