Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1949 Oldsmobile 88. The B-Body Futuramatic platform was launched by Oldsmobile in 1949, the 88 shared this platform with the 76. This is where the similarities end as the 88 was fitted with the brand new Rocket 303 CID V8, which pumped out 135hp. This is widely considered to the first muscle car by many with its small light body fitted with a powerful engine. The 88 propelled Oldsmobile from a mundane car to a major competitor on the track and considered the first true “King of Nascar” as it dominated the circuit for several years. During the era of “Win on Sunday, sell on Monday”, this car was popular with many veterans in a post World War II economy. The 88 inspired the slogan “Make a date with a Rocket 88” and well as also inspired a song proving itself to be a true pop culture icon of its time. The 88 lasted through the late 1990’s. The 49 model year was equipped with an ignition key and push-button starter. This example has been completely restored in 2010, and received new chrome in 2013. Featuring a 1970 model year Rocket 350 engine mated to a TH350 transmission this car is a real pleasure to drive with lots power. With just 5,000 miles on the motor it is hardly past its break in period. This car features leather interior, am/fm radio, cd player, ride control, rally wheels, radial tires, and even an air ride suspension. This car is really on gorgeous ride with just the right lines to take you back in time as you cruise down the road, yet still enjoying modern comforts.

Mileage: 43,405 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this extremely beautiful 1956 Oldsmobile Delta 2 door hardtop. Oldsmobile is a big name when it comes to classic cars. This car is proof of just that. This is also why so many car enthusiasts want one in their garage. The Olds is over 60 years old and still runs and drives like it did in the 50’s. Let’s start with the walk around. Is there a better color combination than white and turquoise for a car like this? Just to see the car from the front is amazing. The big chrome grill is a piece of art. The lines of the body move flawless from the front over the rear bumper. This is a hardtop coupe so the lines do not get distracted by a b pillar. The white wall tires wrap around the rims and give this car this special something. Open the door and you will be amazed. The interior is in very clean condition. The little details are what made these cars out of the 50’s so special. Turn the key and you will never forget your first ride in this piece of art. People will go crazy when they see you driving down to your favorite 1950’s style diner. Park it right in front and remember the feeling of how great it was back then. The Delta is powered by its Rocket V8 and shifted by an automatic transmission. One really comfortable feature is that the Delta is equipped with power steering. The car is ready to roll! Put some grease in your hair, jump in the old dusty leather jacket and relive those memories you will never forget or write new ones in this piece of art. Let it ride!!! Engine: V8 Small Block
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 3,500 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this beautiful 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88. This stunning car is in outstanding condition, inside and out. The exterior Pearl Blue and White 2-tone paint shines brilliantly in the sun against the chrome and stainless trim and bumper, while matching wheels and white wall tires complete the overall look. The entire body was stripped down to the metal before Dextron primer/sealer was added – along with the premium pearl paint. Several coats of clear were then added and buffed to a beautiful shine. Most of the original body panels are still on the car except for the right and left rear fender panels that were replaced and brand new. Under the hood sits the original 324 CID motor that was just rebuilt 3500 miles ago and bored .30 over along with a new Comp Cam and other internal parts. The automatic transmission was rebuilt at the same time as well. Inside, the beautiful 2 tone matching vinyl interior and headliner are in outstanding condition. The dark grey painted dash is in great condition as well and accents beautifully with the stainless trim. 1948 Oldsmobile Series 66

Engine: 238 CID 6 CYL
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 78,173 ( undocumented )

What is that? It’s a classical 1948 Oldsmobile Series 66 that is now for sale here in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston Showroom. These cars were originally called the series 60 but in 1941 both the 6 and 8-cylinder engines were available, so the name was changed to denote which size engine it had by the second digit of the series. The Series 66 represented the 6-cylinder engine and the Series 68 represented the 8-cylinder. This car is in good driving condition and in need of a new owner to take it to the local car shows. It is powered by a 238 CID Inline 6. This classic also features a hydra-matic 4-speed transmission to make for a nice cruising car. The two-toned green paint is in great condition and truly compliments the car. As you walk around the car you will notice the chrome trim is all in good condition along with a nice set of white walls to keep that old school style. Moving to the interior you will find the seats are in good condition with very minor tears. The floors, door panels, dash, and headliner are all in great shape. 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass W31

1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass W31

Engine: 350 V8 Rocket
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 81,727 ( actual )

This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass W31 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The W-31 package was based on the classic small block Chevy. Made using tight tolerance internals or “blue print” as they call it the Rocket 350 was one of the healthiest small blocks to be made. The heads were also part of the option with stiffer valve springs and an aluminum intake manifold allowing for optimum air/fuel mixture. The hood was the biggest difference with the two huge inductions on the fiberglass hood with the chrome hold downs giving it that true muscle car look. This Red beauty is probably the image that pops in your head when someone says W31 Cutlass. Its sleek lines are as good as any factory Cutlass and should be since they are all original to the car. The body was in such good shape the owner decided it needed a fresh coat of the original Matador red paint which was only done 6 months ago. The mileage on the odometer is believed to be original making this W31 an even sweeter deal. The interior of the car is classic cutlass with the black split bench upfront being extremely comfortable and great for cruising. With those period correct stripes finishing off this iconic luxury muscle car. Options on this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass include; AC, AM/FM/Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires with Raised White Letters on a set of Rally Wheels. 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds

1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds

Engine: 307 CID V8
Transmission: Hurst Lightning Rod with 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 60,697 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds. The 83’ Hurst/Olds was the 15th anniversary of the first Hurst/Olds introduced by Oldsmobile in 1968. The 1983 Hurst/Olds featured a color scheme of black cherry, silver rocker panels with red and silver pinstriping, a new Hurst/Olds emblem, and the introduction of the Hurst Lightning Rod floor shifter in the Oldsmobile lineup. The Hurst Lightning Rod shifter allows you to get the most out of the 307 V8 when the mood hits you. Plus, on days when you want to take it easy, just simply let the four-speed overdrive automatic shift itself. Power comes from an Oldsmobile modified version of their 307 CID V8 engine, the Hurst Lightning Rod shifter transfers the power to the 10-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. The formal GM G-body shape works remarkably well with the aggressive Hurst upgrades (power bulge hood, rear spoiler, etc.) and removing all the chrome does wonders for the transformation from plush luxury cruiser to street brawler. Inside, the Hurst/Olds got bucket seats and a proper console, something few other Oldsmobile’s of the era can claim. The red cloth strikes a nice balance between premium and aggressive. Originally 2,500 of these Hurst/Olds were to be produced, that number was increased to 3,001 due to high demand from the public. The Hurst/Olds option was brought back in 1984 as well, likely because people just could not get enough of them. In 1984, 3,500 were built, and the color scheme was reversed (silver body and black rocker panels). The odometer on this 1983 Oldsmobile reads 60,697, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, T-Tops, Cloth Interior, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Power Windows, Power Driver’s Seat, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. The G-Body Hurst/Olds (1983-1984) were not the quickest of the H/O family, going back to its beginning in 1968, but it certainly ranks highly against its fellow 1980’s era competitors in power, handling, and styling. To view this 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
