1965 Pontiac GTO

1965 Pontiac GTO

Engine: Tri-Power 400CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 46510 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one very cool 1965 Pontiac GTO. You won’t be able to help yourself from humming “Little GTO” when you fire up this bright red beauty. As Ronnie and the Daytonas sung in their 60’s classic, “Turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO”. This ’65 has the iconic 3 deuces and a 4 speed that any Pontiac fan can appreciate. It sports a Pontiac 400 from a ’68, but still has the look and feel you’d expect from a ’65. The snappy red exterior is set off with a set of polished Cragar SSs wrapped in white wall tires. This one sports a unique white vinyl top which matches the white vinyl interior. Front buckets and a floor shifter leave no questioning what type of car this is: a true muscle car. This is however, the gentleman’s muscle car, so a wood rimming steering wheel and wood grain dash dress up the cabin. Power steering and power brakes are a must in a full sized car with the power that this one has. When you hit wide open throttle, you can hear all 3 carbs gulping fresh air to feed the beast. Needless to say, they just don’t make them like they used to. This little slice of muscle car history is available in our Dallas showroom. Swing by for a closer look, or check out www.GatewayClassicCars.com for 100+ photos and a video. Contact 817-310-9400 or dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

1969 Pontiac GTO

1969 Pontiac GTO

Engine: LS6 Custom
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 10 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this incredible custom 1969 Pontiac GTO Restomod. This is not your average Restomod by any means. There was no expense spared in the making of this top notch GTO. The first thing you notice on this GOAT is the Inferno Orange paint finish. Done on rotisserie, this shows beautifully on the custom body work. It sits on a frame that was completely reinforced (boxed in) and painted black after being sand blasted. The black tinted windows help tie the colors in together perfectly. This car has a very serious suspension setup that has all the right parts. It has a complete performance suspension package by UMI that includes tubular control arms, and big sway bars with polyurethane bushings on the front and rear. On all four corners are QA1 fully adjustable coilovers. Steering is impressive on this with the addition of a rack and pinion steering system by Flaming River. It has a new tilt steering column with a new wheel. Braking on this beauty is supplied by a big brake package with crossed drilled and slotted rotors by Master Power Brakes. One of the most impressive parts of the car is the power plant. Inside the engine bay you will find an extremely clean, fully rebuilt LS6 engine with Performance Dart cylinder heads. This motor is force fed by a Magnuson TVS 2300 Supercharger. The engine has a complete, custom accessory drive kit finished in black ice and billet aluminum by Wegner Performance. This engine is cooled thanks to a performance radiator with dual electric fans by Dewitts. It's putting out a mind blowing 500hp and 485 ft lbs of torque on the Dyno, and it is mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, with performace clutch kit and hydraulic controls by American Powertrain. The rear end on this Inferno Orange performance car is a 12-bolt chevy rear end with limited slip differential and 3:42 gears. All of the power is kept in check via performance gauges by Auto Meter. The creature comforts and options in this car consist of everything you could possibly want. The cabin is kept cool by a Vintage Air, air conditioning kit. The interior is completely custom. This modern beast has an Android 2 Din stereo head unit with back up camera. The interior is black leather with orange stitching throughout, matching the orange exterior. This GTO has power windows, power locks, and power seats. There is a custom built center console with custom built door panels. The new carpets have dynamat insulation to keep the inside nice and quiet. The color scheme continues with orange LED illumination inside the vehicle. Outside this monster, all the lights are LED’s and the HID headlights have orange halo rings giving the GTO a mean look. When you aren’t listening to the roar of the engine, you can hear the two 6x9 Pioneer speakers on a package tray. This coupled with the 10” subwoofer box in the trunk makes for an excellent sound system. This ’69 sits on custom American Racing wheels wrapped in Continental performance tires. The wheels are 20” in the rear and 18” in the front, giving this Restomod the perfect staggered stance. You cannot reproduce the work on this car as it has so many custom touches. Take this to any show, track, street, or venue and prepare to be asked about this powerful piece of art. 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge

1970 Pontiac GTO Judge

Engine: 400 ci Ram Air III
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 13610 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. Here comes the JUDGE with owner stated original number-matching, vin code stamped engine the cars birth. This Ram Air III 4 speed GTO Judge has a PHS sheet for you to verify it status. The window sticker has options for “The Judge”, Safe-T-track, radio P/B, STRG-WHL-C/S, Console, PWR, BRK-DISC, SPG, SHKS-R/H, 4 SPD TRANS, G70X14 WW FG, Mirror-Remot, Gauge-TA CL, PWR STRG-VAR, GLASS-S/R-WS. I will save the pain for the actual original cost of the vehicle. I would take a dozen. This 400ci Ram Air III 4-speed has a rebuilt engine, transmission, and OEM floors professionally done. Few muscle cars made a bolder visual statement than the 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. "The Judge" decals returned, multihued stripes appeared over the bodyside creases, and the 60-inch rear wing now stood high and proud on the tail. Some Judges also got a matte-black fiberglass chin spoiler. "The Judge," observed Road Test magazine, "is not for people who are shy about being looked at." But there was no shortage of substance here. Both 400-cid V-8s came with functional hood scoops, an under-dash knob that controls air flow. Pontiac made a rear sway bar standard and sharpened handling further with a beefier front bar, softer springs, and revised shock valving. The introduction of variable-ratio power steering also improved response. Transmission choices mirrored those of regular Goats: three-speed manual standard, four-speed and automatic optional, with four-speed Judges getting a Hurst T-handle shifter like this one. The GTO was the original muscle car, and the Judge was GTO at its most extroverted. Options include: Power steering, Power Brakes, Bias Ply tires, Aluminum Rims, Vinyl interior, Seat Belts, and AM/FM radio. Engine: 389 CID

Mileage: 54084 ( undocumented )

Very few cars have survived this long and remained in this great of condition without being totally restored! This beautiful 1965 GTO Convertible in cameo ivory paint truly is untouched and still retains the original equipment that it rolled off the showroom floor with when it was brand new. The numbers matching 389 cubic inch V8 has been rebuilt with less than 2,500 miles on it since rebuild and fires up with ease thank to the meticulous maintenance through the years. If the condition of this car isn’t enough to attest to the great care taken then the binder full of receipts will take you on a trip through history also. Sitting behind the wheel of this muscle car is definitely a privilege. Gripping the shifter for the 4 speed Muncie transmission that was a rear option for these cars really transports you back in time and makes you feel like you are speeding even while sitting still. Exhaust gases are expelled through a set of dual stainless steel Flowmasters. Giving the car it’s stance are the chrome Crager wheels wrapped in radial tires. But if those are not your style the original wheels and hub caps are included. Chrome dash accents along with hardware compliment the black interior. Keeping you cool while you enjoy the ride is the dealer installed air conditioning. If you are more into cruising with the top down then you will truly appreciate the recently replaced black power convertible top! 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Tribute

1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Tribute

Engine: 455 CID Big Block
Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 2035 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge tribute. This black beauty started life as a 242 GTO with a 400 cubic inch engine and a 323 open rear end. But during her full frame off restoration in 2012 she received some major upgrades. The biggest upgrade she received was to her drivetrain. The built 455 cubic inch motor was bored to .60 over with a mild competition cam and hardened valves and seats. Stainless steel headers and brand new exhaust give the new engine a nice rumble. The new engine is paired up with a freshly built turbo 400 transmission mated to a Gearvendor overdrive adapter. That means you have a total a 6 gears to go through on your cruise instead of just 3. The suspension was beefed up to handle all the new power with Hotchkiss TVS suspension in the front and rear of the GTO. The builder didn’t stop at drivetrain upgrades, he went in to the interior and completely upgraded everything. The ice cold air conditioning will blast you out of the car in summer and if that doesn’t then the thumpin’ stereo sure will! Full premier Alpine component stereo system with 3 amplifiers, 10” subwoofer, 6 SPX-17 PRO speakers, cd player with aux inputs, and a remote control to help keep your eyes on the road. If you have been looking for a black GTO then look no further because you just found the cream of the crop here in Dallas. 1970 Pontiac GTO

1970 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 400 CID
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 54756 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful Gold hued 1970 Pontiac GTO here in our Milwaukee showroom. This GTO features a Tan interior and is numbers matching. In 1970 the GTO retained the Endura urethane cover around the headlamps and grille. The suspension was upgraded with the addition of a rear anti-roll bar, essentially the same bar as used on the Oldsmobile 442 and Buick Gran Sport. The front anti-roll bar was slightly stiffer. The result was a useful reduction in body lean in turns and a modest reduction of understeer. The base engine was unchanged for 1970, but the low-compression economy engine was deleted and the Ram Air III and Ram Air IV remained available, although the latter was now a special-order option.A new option was Pontiac's 455 HO engine (different from the round-port offerings of the 1971–72 cars), available now that GM had rescinded its earlier ban on intermediates with engines larger than 400. The 455, a long-stroke engine also available in the full-size Pontiac line as well as the Grand Prix, was dubiously rated by Pontiac as only moderately stronger than the base 350 HP 400 CID and less powerful than the 366 hp (273 kW) Ram Air III. The Pontiac brochure indicated the same 455 installed in the Grand Prix model was rated at 370 horsepower (280 kW). The camshafts used in the Ram Air III and the GTO 455 HO were the same. For example, the manual transmission 455 HO's used the same 288/302 duration cam as the Ram Air III. The 455 was rated at 360 hp (270 kW) at 4,300 rpm. Its advantage was torque: 500 lb·ft (678 N·m) at 2,700 rpm. A functional Ram Air scoop was available. Car and Driver tested a heavily optioned 455, with a four-speed transmission and 3.31 axle and recorded a quarter mile time of 15.0 seconds with a trap speed of 96.5 mph (155.3 km/h) . Car Life test car had the Turbo-Hydramatic 455 with a 3.55 rear differential, clocked 14.76 seconds at 95.94 mph (154.40 km/h), with identical 6.6 second 0–60 mph acceleration. Both were about 3 mph (4.8 km/h) slower than a Ram Air III 400 four-speed, although considerably less temperamental: the Ram Air engine idled roughly and was difficult to drive at low speeds. The smaller displacement engine recorded less than 9 mpg US (26 L/100 km; 11 mpg imp) of gasoline, compared to 10 mpg US (24 L/100 km; 12 mpg imp)-11 mpg US (21 L/100 km; 13 mpg imp) for the 455 This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. 1964 Pontiac GTO

1964 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 389 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67068 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic red 1964 Pontiac GTO. In 1964 the Pontiac GTO was introduced as trim level of the Tempest, and the Muscle car era took off. Eventually in 1966, the GTO earned its own model designation, and again a trim option from 1972 to 1974. The GTO made a late model comeback in 2004, but most agree that Pontiac dropped the ball on the design of the car, and it was gone again after the 2006 model year. Many muscle cars would come and go, but the GTO would always be considered one of the best and most desired. The 64’ GTO was smaller than later models, sporty, and very quick. The exterior of this 1964 GTO is coated in a bright red that stands out, loud and proud. Looking inside the classic muscle car you will find black vinyl interior with a the heavily desired center console. Under the hood is a 389 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 3-spd automatic transmission with a B&M shifter. One unique feature of this '64 GTO is the fact that it has a direct drive timing gear which gives the impression that maybe this Pontiac isn't naturally aspirated! The odometer reads 67,068, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1964 Pontiac GTO include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. A red on black 1964 GTO is a welcomed addition to any show or cruise, the one that started it all always has a seat at the table. 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am LSX

1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am LSX

Engine: 6.0L LQ4 V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 82688 ( actual )

If there is one thing most Trans Am admirers can agree upon, it is the disappointing output of the third generation’s 305 and 350 TBI/TPI motors. However, our newest arrival here at the Dallas Gateway Classic Car showroom has rectified this common complaint. This beautiful example of a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA will not only have you floored in the visual department, but will exceed your performance expectations as well. A complete powertrain swap to a LQ4 6.0 V8 and 4L80E transmission from the boat-anchored 350 TPI she came with was performed by Larry’s Speed & Custom of Fort Worth approximately 3000 miles ago. No expense was spared in completing this build, and all necessary swap components were employed. Custom wiring harness, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Walboro 255 LPH fuel pump, Holley EFI fuel rails paired with an LS1 intake, billet coil brackets, LSSimple alternator kit, BMR adjustable torque arm, and BRP headers with muffler delete. Hawks motor mounts and a Blackheart transmission crossmember keep the new powertrain properly supported while you dust Vette-after-Vette. New calipers hugging drilled and slotted rotors insure a positive and pulse-free stop. Additionally, the interior was upgraded to a custom, yet tastefully-upgraded upholstery. The body of this GTA has only 82,688 miles, so this bird’s skeleton was a great candidate for this impressive and popular swap. For more HD pictures and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
