1964 Chevrolet Corvette

1964 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 327 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 69,765 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville Tn showroom is a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette! For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. A few suspension refinements were made. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Although transmission options remained ostensibly the same for 1964, the two Borg-Warner T-10 four-speeds gave way to a similar pair of gearboxes built at GM's Muncie, Indiana, transmission facility. Originally a Chevy design, it had an aluminum case like the Borg-Warner box but came with stronger synchronizers and wider ratios for better durability and drivability. With a 327 professionally built and installed this engine has a healthy sound and very healthy performance. With no expense spared on the rebuild of this 1964 Chevy Corvette You will definitely turn heads wherever you go. Painted a beautiful light blue with a fresh black interior and all new chrome you’ll swear this 1964 Corvette just rolled off the assembly line. Options included: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, hub caps, Seat belts, Radial tires, Posi traction, White walls and wire wheels. for more information, please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

1963 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 327 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 32,694 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Saddle Tan over Saddle Tan 1963 Chevrolet Corvette. The 63’ “Split Window” Corvette coupe is one of the most iconic, and sough after of all the Corvettes. This 3 owner Corvette sat for over ten years before the complete restoration took place in 1983. True it is an older restoration, but this 63’ Corvette is in very good condition. The Saddle Tan exterior paint, which is more like metallic gold, still shines beautifully. The Saddle Tan leather interior is also in good condition, free from any rips, tears, or signs of wear. Powering this split window Corvette is a 327 CID V8 engine that produces nearly 400 horsepower and has traveled a little over 500 miles since it was installed in 1983. A 4-speed manual transmission transfers the power to the IRS and to the pavement. This split-window Corvette for sale is a rare gem, with just over 10,000 produced in 1963. Built to compete with foreign sports cars, this Corvette shed some weight and gained some beautiful curves, adding much more excitement to the daily commute! 1963 Studebaker Avanti

1963 Studebaker Avanti

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: M22 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 9,000 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a rarely seen 1963 Studebaker Avanti with a 4 speed. This frame off restored Avanti is powered by a 350 CID V8 engine with aluminum valve covers and a chrome K&N air filter. A Muncie M22 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter transfers the power to the rear end. The body is painted a beautiful shade of green that has a very slight metallic flake. The paint is in very good condition, and the car shines up well. The gray interior features vinyl and cloth upholstery, and a wood grain steering wheel provides a nice touch to the overall appearance of the interior. BACKGROUND: The Avanti was a personal luxury coupe produced by The Studebaker Corporation June 1962 and December 1963. It originated as a doodle on a napkin in a jet plane west of Chicago by Sherwood Egbert just 37 days after he took over as President of Studebaker in February 1961. It was marketed as "America's only 4 passenger high-performance personal car." The Avanti broke nearly 30 records at the Booneville Salt Flats in Utah. Unfortunately the Studebaker factory in South Bend, IN shut down in December of 1963, and only 5800 Avanti's were produced during the production run. The naming rights to "Avanti" were purchased, and the Avanti II was produced from some years. The odometer on this 63' Avanti reads 40,911, the actual mileage is unknown, but approximately 9,000 miles have been enjoyed in the car since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1963 Studebaker Avanti include: AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Custom Steel Wheels. This is a great example of a Studebaker Avanti, and will have Studebaker followers at all the local show or cruise. To view this 1963 Studebaker Avanti in greater detail, including HD pictures and HD video visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom.
