Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this really cool bright red 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS convertible for sale in our Arizona showroom. The current owner had always wanted a first gen Nova convertible that could be improved with modern hot rod technology but retained the flavor of the original. By adding a Heidt's front crossmember underneath the 383 CID stroker SBC, it gives the car front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and lighter weight suspension components that are actually stronger than the original. The small block's cubes have been enlarged significantly from its original 350 four bolt main configuration. An aluminum radiator cools the engine MSD Ignition fires the plugs and Hedmann Headers get the exhaust fumes out fast. A T350 automatic transmission transmits all of the power to a 10 bolt rear axle equipped with 3.70 gears, a posi-trac unit, and Wilwood disc brakes. Inside, the white custom interior sports bucket seats, a full array of custom instrumentation, and a B&M shifter. To complete the attractive visuals, this Nova has a a set of Weld Draglite wheels and a new convertible top. This is a car you won't see at every show and cruise night. A perfect package of original appearance with a hot rod soul. Don't miss this beautiful 1963 Chevy Nova convertible for sale right now in our showroom.
