Helping it pump out 418 horsepower is a set of Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Howard’s roller camshaft, and ceramic coated headers are just some of the top shelf performance part included in the build. When paired with the Tremec 5-Speed T5 Z spec transmission you can cruise down the highway at 1,600 rpm while traveling 65 mph. Anyone lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel will appreciate the great level of detail that went into this car! Once glance at the dash and you’ll notice reproduction Mustang gauges featuring an 8,000 rpm tachometer as weel as a 160 mph speedometer. Making sure you are in total control of everything electrical is the new painless wiring harness complete with modern fuses. 17” Eleanor styled wheels help round out the entire package nicely. We are looking here at an original S-Code 390ci 4-barrel carburetor V8 big block 68 Mustang Fastback with a 4 speed manual transmission. It was also ordered with the GT Equipment Group. The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1968 Ford Torino GT. This SportsRoof 302 Torino has a 3-speed automatic transmission and an original feel. In 1968 Ford Motor Company introduced its intermediate line with a new body and new styling. Along with the new body and styling came a new subseries in the Fairlane line, the Torino. Styling was all new for the 1968 Fairlane/Torino, and it was drastically changed from the 1967 models. The new intermediate had grown in size and weight, and a new fastback model was added. The front fascia featured a full width recessed grille, with horizontal quad headlights placed at the outer edges. Horizontal dividing bars were featured in the grille depending on the model. Parking lights were placed at the outer edge of the front fenders and wrapped around the corner to also act as side marker lights (a new requirement in 1968). The body sides were smooth with one horizontal body crease running just below the beltline from front to back. The taillights were rectangular in shape and vertically situated in the rear panel above rear bumper. Reverse lights were located in the middle of the taillights, and small side marker lights were located on the rear edge of the quarter panel. Fastback models, which Ford called "SportsRoof," featured a slightly concaved rear taillight panel unique to that body style. The new SportsRoof body style featured a gently sloped long roof line that extended to the edge of the trunk lid. This new fastback body style gave the Fairlane and the Torino excellent aerodynamics that would later prove to be advantageous on the race track. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a beautiful 1968 Mustang Shelby GT350 Tribute. Now this is not your average tribute in fact this one might make Carroll a little envious! This little pony has all the tricks from the drop dead deep blue paint job to the kidney kicking 351 Windsor power plant that pumps out a dynode 450 horses! But let’s start at the beginning. This 1968 GT 350 for sale started life as a fastback and a vision. This pretty pony spent quite some time strapped to the rotisserie as she was stripped and massaged as no new body panel were used. She is this wearing all the original metal she was began with of course some of this original metal was covered by Shelby fiberglass panels and then all of it was layered with this deep blue paint. Even the under coating was well thought out as catalyzed bed liner was used for protection, looks and added insulation. For the interior Mustangs to fear were called on to provide their High quality components. Now to the good stuff! Under the hood is a high revving Windsor 351 that is .030 over and filled with all the good stuff like forged piston, roller rockers and hefty bump stick. Bolted to the top of this combo are Edlebrock aluminum heads and RPM air gap intake manifold and perched on top of all these goodies is just what you would figure a Holley four barrel carb. Lighting the fires is a MSD ignition system and helping with exhaust gases are ceramic coated headers. Between all this power and the 9 inch Ford holding up the rear of this 68 Mustang for sale is a totally rebuilt C4 3 speed automatic transmission that provides firm shift and controls the under hood beast with precision. So. What you have here is all the fun and style allowed by law and a little extra! For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1968 1/2 Ford Torino GT. This Torino for sale is not your average grocery getter from the ‘60’s. Stuffed between the shock towers of this Torino GT is a master piece of Ford technology the 428 Cobra jet engine with factory ram air. This R code beauty was built to get the ice cream home before it melted. In 1968 the 428 had an advertized rating of 335 horsepower with 445 Feet pounds of torque running 10.6:1 compression pistons. Now I believe Ford might have fudged the numbers to the low side to placate the insurance companies. Now according to the Marti report this is a very rare car Torino GT 2 door fastback with the 428-4V CJ covered in candy apple red with black interior originally had the 4.30:1 axle ratio with traction loc. This has been changed to a more gas friendly 3.25:1 final drive ratio. Other than that the only other changes are the Edelbrock Torker intake and 780 street avenger carburetor. The transmission is the venerable c-6 select shift cruise -o-matic .Other option listed on the Marti repot are center console, power brakes and steering and AM radio. This car has been restored to within 98% and is a winner of multiple shows with only about 2100 miles since rebuild and shows like new. So here is your chance to own something that you will not find an entire row of that the local car show. This car needs a row to itself, because let’s face it, how many 1968 ½ R code Ford Torino’s were made? We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional.
