For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a stunning 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This is a great example of a very well restored 1st year Thunderbird. The smooth running 292 fires right up and idles smoothly. Equipment includes Power steering, Power brakes and Power windows. It is painted in an eye catching red over two tone red and white interior with a matching red hard top. Adding to the pop and shimmer is a set of radial wide white wall tires wrapped around a set of wire wheel hub caps for a very classy look. Power from the 292 is sent through a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The odometer is showing 88,393 with roughly 3,000 since the rebuild. The Thunderbird was Ford’s answer to the Corvette and they ended up selling 23 of them to every Corvette in 1955. This almost put an end to the Corvette until the Thunderbird went another route in 1958 and leaned more towards the luxury market by adding a couple of more seats. The first-generation Thunderbird will always be a recognizable car and who can forget Suzanne Sommers driving a white T-Bird in American Graffiti? Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1953 Ford F100. This ‘53 Ford F100 is the one you have been waiting for. Too often you see cars and trucks that have been personalized past the point of no return. Fortunately, that is not the case with this truck. Looking at this beautiful fire engine red truck is like an artist looking at an open idea. You can leave it the way it is and have loads of fun, or modify it to your liking. The overall stock look is very appealing with the bright red paint and black running boards. The simplistic chrome “dog dish” hub caps and painted steel wheels takes you down memory lane. There is just enough chrome displayed to add to the look, but not take away from the nostalgic feel. You don’t run into these 1953 Ford F100’s in this type of shape often. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. With only a few knobs and switches on the inside, the bright chrome gauge cluster captures your eyes showing speedometer, oil pressure, volts, water temp, and fuel. Powering this classic F100 is a Ford 289 “Y” block mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Adding to the vintage package is the fact that it is “three on the tree.” It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to a pure throwback classic. If it’s too tame for you, let your imagination run wild. The best thing about this 1953 Ford F100 is the fact you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Options include Spare Tire, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and a Wood Slat truck bed. Don’t miss your opportunity to take a trip down memory lane. There is still plenty of country roads out there to explore and car shows to pull up to. This 1953 Ford F100 is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This first year Thunderbird is painted in a rare Goldenrod Yellow with a white soft top, white hardtop with black and white two-toned interior. Power comes from a 292-cubic inch V8, the only available engine for 1955. This one is equipped with a manual 3 speed transmission and optional over drive. The over drive is a neat unit. Once in 3rd gear and you're ready, pull the T handle beneath the dash and you're in! Other equipment includes power seats, wide white wall radial tires and a white hardtop. To add some personal touches, the previous owner decided to paint the hard-top white as opposed to keeping it body color as the factory would have painted it. The soft top is also white which would have been black fabric from the factory. These personal touches give the car a unique look and help it stand out from other '55 Thunderbirds. This is easily reversible if someone chooses. Recent maintenance includes new tires, new clutch and a rebuilt carburetor. In 1955 Ford introduced the Thunderbird to knock a dent into Corvette sales. Ford accomplished this with flying colors. 1955 Corvette production reached 700 units compared to Ford's whopping 16,155! Chevrolet needed some serious help if they were going to save the Corvette. Eventually Ford decided to lean more towards the luxury side and away from the performance side that the Corvette was pursuing. The Thunderbird has had a long and interesting run over the years. However, there's no mistaking the first run of the 1955 through 1957 T-Birds. They are the most collectible of any Thunderbird and will always be the most collectible. These hard and soft top equipped Thunderbirds are very cool, giving you the coupe and convertible feel all in one car. Call our St. Louis showroom for more information on this early T-bird at 618-271-3000 or email STL@gatewayclassiccars.com. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this slick retro blast from the past, 1953 Ford Crestline Victoria. Through its 65 years, this custom cruiser has seen many tasteful modifications. Powered by a small block Chevrolet V8 engine that is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission, this baby is a total cruiser. The smooth cranberry paint glimmers in the sun, just like the sporty chrome accents. A subtle purr can be heard from the tailpipes as you cruise along, turning heads. The interior was recently redone in this beautiful white leather interior with red accents, which ties in nicely with the two-tone red paint. The aftermarket radio makes it easy to listen to your tunes, whether classic or new pop. Wide white wall tires tie the whole car together as a cool, custom cruiser. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful Golden Rod Yellow 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This Amos Minter (of Minter’s Thunderbird in Dallas) restored 55’ T-Bird looks absolutely fantastic. Open the hood and you will see the original 292 CID 4BBL V8 engine that was rebuilt and restored to like new condition. The Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was also rebuilt and shifts beautifully. The black and yellow interior shows very well with very little signs of usage. This is a highly optioned interior including the 4-way power seat and telescopic steering wheel. The AM radio and gauges were all rebuilt and function as they should. The 6-volt system is gone, in its place is a more modern and preferred 12-volt system. The rarely seen Golden Rod Yellow paint shines beautifully and stands proud against the gleaming brightwork on this 55’ T-Bird. The underside is just as clean and shows the detail of this quality restoration. The hard top is painted to match the body, while the soft top is black vinyl. You have the possibility of 3 different looks, yellow hard top, black vinyl top, or no top at all! The odometer reads 464, which represents the actual mileage put on the car since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1955 Ford Thunderbird include: AM Radio, Telescopic Steering Wheel, Manual Convertible Top (Hard and Soft Top included), Power Seats, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Firestone Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires, and Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels. This is an incredible opportunity to own a 55’ Thunderbird that was restored by the Thunderbird guru himself, Amos Minter. This no expense spared restoration also won the Gold Trophy in Washington State. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner. American auto sales were absolutely booming in 1955, but nevertheless, Ford found themselves playing catch-up to their competitors in most categories. The blue oval did find a hit in the convertible segment, where they outsold their closest competitor by over 8,000 units, and with one look at this black and white 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner, it should come as no surprise. This particular ’55 Fairlane is equipped with the standard Y-block 272 CID V8, 3-speed transmission with overdrive, and dual exhaust. While this is a 1955 model Fairlane Sunliner, it has 1956 trim and front-end styling, making it a truly unique vehicle. Dressed in chrome all around, and fitted with white walls, this car is sure to make an impression on all who see it pass by. We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.
