For sale in our Scottsdale Showroom is this 1971 Plymouth Sports Fury that the owner states has only 80,071 actual miles (Gateway Classic Cars has not verified actual mileage) This fantastic all American muscle car is the ultimate street sleeper as under the hood lurks a very potent Chrysler 408 CID V8 stroker from Blueprint Engines with a dyno sheet showing this engine producing over 420 HP and 426 ft/lbs of torque. What those numbers mean is that this full size Mopar has a big surprise waiting at the stoplight for all those import sports car drivers! Repainted 2014 in factory royal blue metallic and Sport Fury "GT" graphics, the VIN decodes as an original Sports Fury car, the "GT" decal is a add on. This car is one of the last examples of the full size, big horsepower all American muscle car. This Mopar was originally equipped with the 318 CID V8 and recently upgraded with a “Blueprint Engines” crate 408 CID small block Chrysler stroker. This menacing Mopar power plant is fitted with an Edelbrock Air Gap aluminum intake manifold, Holley carburetor, headers, electronic ignition and a full-length exhaust system running into Magnaflow mufflers. The exhaust sound is not overly loud but they will all know at the car show when they hear this car fire up that it means serious business! In addition to this awesome stroker engine the car has had extensive upgrades and overhauls. From an overhaul of the Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission in 2014, installation of SSBC 4 wheel disc brakes, front end overhaul and many other items, this big bad muscular Mopar has been gone over front to rear. With 3:23 rear end gears, open highway cruising is reasonable, in fact the owner has taken this car on a coast to coast “Power Tour ”. The interior of this fantastic car has also been recently redone in the original style and looks like the Plymouth designers intended, the interior is in outstanding condition with bucket seats, floor shifter, console and retractor type shoulder belts. There is also an old school Sun tach on the console and a Sony AM/FM/CD player that sounds great. The power steering and four-wheel disc brakes help you handle this bad boy easily. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind Hemi Orange 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda. Fresh out of a 3-year restoration, with parts accumulated as far back as the beginnings of its owner's planning stages 8 years ago, this car is a complete nut-and-bolt build. Under the hood is one beastly Elephant. Starting with a fresh Indy Cylinder Head-built 770HP 572 CID Hemi, built from a World Iron Hemi block with 4.5 x 4.5 bore and stroke, stuffed with top-of-the line Diamond 10.75:1 pistons atop forged Eagle 7.1/2.2 H-Beam rods, connected to a Forged Eagle crankshaft, and topped with a set of 426-S/R Aluminum Hemi Heads sporting 2.25 intake and 1.94 exhaust valves, this thing will wrinkle pavement. Chrome Moly retainers with 7-degree locks keep the valvetrain in check under the MP Roller Rocker Arms (1.57 and 1.52 intake-exhaust ratios, respectively). A Comp Cams .574/.551 cam with 242/248 duration and a 110-degree lobe center provides tons of torque through the powerband, and a very healthy lope. Indy Cylinder Head cast valve covers with custom "572" engraving fitted with Keith Black breathers, and a Mopar Performance dual-plane single 4bbl intake with an 850 CFM Mighty Demon Carb with mechanical secondaries sit atop the massive mill, while a Milodon 30930 8-quart deep sump oil pan complete with windage tray keeps the vital Brad Penn oil ready to flow foam-free throughout the crankcase. An MSD Pro Billet distributor and MSD coil send MSD 6AL-boosted spark to each cylinder through ICH Fire Core plug wires, ensuring complete and massive fuel ignition. A custom heavy duty hydraulic clutch grabs the billet steel flywheel, which is housed in a titanium bellhousing mated to a specially-built Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission, sending the twist out back via a special HD Dom steel driveshaft to the Strange Engineering-built Dana 60 rear end with 3.54:1 gears and limited slip differential. An LPW Racing aluminum differential cover (rear-end girdle) keeps things where they should be in the third member and helps maximize gear life and performance. Slip inside into the pilot seat, and you'll feel like you were back in 1971, only better! An all new interior, complete with new door panels, carpet, etc.; along with new leather seating all around (done by Legendary Leather), fills your nostrils with the scent of fine hides and "new car"...until you fire it up...but, we'll get to that part in a minute...Gaze at the new dash, filled with NOS gauges behind the vintage 'Cuda steering wheel on the adjustable steering column, and you'll note that this baby has only a tick over 1000 miles on it. Let your right hand slip down to the pistol grip shift knob atop the Hurst Competition Plus short-throw shifter, and you'll be itchin' to fire it up, with your anticipation going into overdrive about hearing this beast come to life. Go ahead, twist the key in the ignition, and IT'S ALIVE! The mighty Elephant roars to life, and quickly settles to a lopey burble. You'll practically feel the spent fossils exiting the exhaust ports into the custom TTI Ceramic-coated headers (coated both internally and externally), as the gigantic 2 1/8" primaries suck the gases from the engine into the full 3" stainless dual exhaust system, exiting from the "through the valance" exhaust tips out back. While you're anticipating the carnage you're going to wreak on the massive 295/50R15 BFG Radial TA tires (on new vintage 15"x10" 'Cuda wheels) out back, tune in your favorite station on the 'Cuda radio (a new Antique Auto Radio head unit), switch on the GEN IV Vintage A/C to max cool (because YOU are now "Max Cool" in this gnarly ride), depress the clutch and slip it into first of the five gears you're getting ready to grab, and BOOM - you're off! As you hit the asphalt, you'll feel how well the car handles, with its special rate springs and QA1 shocks at each corner. Adding to the improved driving feel from the shocks and springs, are the tubular control arms with all new bushings, sway bars, upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, and new steering gear box (by Firm Feel), all contributing to making this car drive with a smooth and tight feel. If you launch hard, you'll feel how well the fully-welded subframes and Caltracs traction bars keep the power down and the body straight. If you decide to explore the velocity limits of this mighty Hemi Orange 'Cuda, you'll be glad to know you have a full Wilwood 4-wheel disc brake system, complete with Hydra-boost, to haul you down quickly and fade-free. This 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner with a HEMI is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Roadrunner was introduced in 1968 as MOPAR’s entry level midsize muscle car. For the small charge of 50000 Warner Brothers allowed Plymouth to use not only the Roadrunner image but the classic beep, beep for the horn. This real deal RM21 roadrunner is ready for the street or the show. A frame off restoration was done in 2005 giving this Roadrunner a new lease on life. The original 383 engine was put to the side with a 426/465HP HEMI making this B Body a pavement shredding monster. The MOPAR purple cam gives the HEMI those added ponies and an idle that is unmistakable. The 833 4 speed is original to the car with it being rebuilt to handle all that power. The 8.75 pose rear end has a set of 3.23 gears giving the car a good mix of off the line acceleration and highway cruising. Painted back its original color of light blue metallic except this time using a base coat clear coat giving it a much deeper finish. The N96 Air Grabber hood was an original option on the car and has to be one of the coolest things to be put out by MOPAR. The interior was restored back its original glory with the bucket seat console being a rare option on these cars. The white vinyl is clean and a great contrast against the black dash and carpet. The pistol grip shifter is another one of those classic MOPAR touches and exactly what you would expect in 1970. We are tremendously proud to offer for sale this first generation 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner. It is available for viewing and inquiry at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis. One thing that should really excite you about this Mopar is the recently completed exterior paint job. The high-satin-gloss purple paint with gold stripes makes this Plymouth Roadrunner look strikingly royal. On the passenger-side rear there is a classic Plymouth Road Runner Standing Bird decal. There are just a couple minor imperfections that might withhold it from being truly award-winning show car quality, but for the uninitiated there is nothing pure joy to behold here. Similarly, the interior has been very well-kept, with just a couple things to prove that it is an original. The white vinyl interior is nice and tight and shows extremely little wear. The headliner is clean and doesn't show any stains, tears, or smoke damage. The dash looks original and does not show signs of normal aging or fading from exposure to the sun. Underneath the air-grabber hood is a 440 Six Pack V8 with only 63,502 miles which are believed to be actual to the car. Built from 1967 to 1971, the 440 Six Pack is a high-performance engine that has light wall construction, precision cast-iron block, and iron heads. Gateway Classic Cars Ft. Lauderdale showroom is proud to offer this one of one 1970 Moulin Rouge and Black Plymouth Duster. This Duster is the only one known to exist with this color combo. The Duster coupe provided the compact sized Plymouth Valiant with a sporty body style. The Valiant badge only appeared on the first model year Dusters. Built on the Valiant platform, they shared the same front end, but had a different design from the cowl back. Designed to compete with The Ford Maverick, the AMC Hornet, Nova, and oddly enough the VW Beetle. This beautifully restored 1970 Duster is a matching numbers masterpiece. And was featured in Mopar Magazines April 2005 edition. With all the factory markings reapplied to the finished restoration. Every grease pencil mark and paint splotch went back where the factory placed them. At the 2004 All Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle, this 1970 Duster occupied a place of honor in the invitational building along with other illustrious factory show cars. The Black vinyl interior looks as good as new and feels just as comfortable. One very rarely finds a muscle era Mopar with a contrasting color painted roof. Powered by the original 340 V8, mated to a four speed with the shifter placed before a black bench seat. Our Detroit showroom is proud to offer this one-of-a-kind 1972 Plymouth Duster 340. This Duster was restored in the early 90’s using ALL NEW OLD STOCK PARTS. To include, the hood, both fenders, both doors, both bumpers, deck lid, tail panel, both quarter panels, complete exhaust system, radiator, all brake components and many more parts were all replaced using very hard to find NOS parts. The Duster is dressed in FE5 Rallye Red with a black vinyl top and black vinyl interior that feels just right. The engine block, transmission and all body numbers match. The original engine block was professionally rebuilt and balanced and has 1968 340 “x” heads with stainless steel valves. The cam is a Direct Connection “purple shaft” cam and it also comes equipped with Direct Connection race distributor with mechanical tach drive. Resting on top you’ll notice the Edelbrock “Six Pack” intake with Holley Carburetors that dress the engine bay quite nicely. Power is spun thru a 8 ¾ Sure Grip differential with a 3:23.1 gear. With roughly 5,000 miles on this restoration, this Mopar is one you can drive and enjoy as well as take to some local shows and earn a few trophies. This is the earliest known 1970 440 6BBL Plymouth Roadrunner hardtop known to exist, believed to be #1 of 44 built at the Lynch Rd. MI plant. Additionally, it is equipped with a left over A12 aluminum 3X2 intake that comes complete with a letter from Chrysler verifying its OEM status. Numbers matching as verified by Galen Govier, this Plymouth is an investment grade Mopar muscle car that can be driven without fears with only a little over 86K original miles. The body and paint are extremely well done. Inside a new black interior is exceptional and looks awesome against the Vitamin C Orange Paint. This award-winning steel-body (fiberglass fenders) 1933 Plymouth Tudor is now for sale and viewing at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom. If you've traveled the classic car show circuit, you may have run into this 1933 Plymouth at some point in time. The present owner bought it in 2011 Sugarland, Texas where it was built, but before that time and thereafter it has been entered and won many awards for its build and beauty. Even though her current body finish is closing on at being at least a decade old, the Vanilla Ice paint on the all-steel body (fiberglass finders) is still holding and showing very well. There are no unsightly chips, scratches, or dents anywhere on the exterior. The suicide doors open and close tight, and the widows roll up and down smoothly. The interior is composed of a dark plum, that is borderline purple and is color-coordinated with the wire coverings inside the engine compartment and the fancy decor on the outer-body. The woodgrain dash alongside the plum vinyl and fabric gives this 1933 Plymouth Tudor a classic look and feel. It is very clean on the inside and does not have any noticeable stains, tears, or odors. Underneath the hood is a 350 Chevrolet ZZ4 engine with 355 Horsepower. It also has a HEI distributor, GM performance dual plain intake, aluminum heads, and a camshaft hydraulic roller. The transmission is an automatic 200 r-4 optional over-drive, with an 8" Ford rear-end with 3:55 gears. For driving it has a Mustang II front clip with power rack and pinion steering and recently installed Monroe shocks. The brakes are front disc and rear drum. For smooth efficiency an Edelbrock Performer 750 CFM Carburetor with a high-performance fuel pump has been installed. We are tremendously proud to offer for sale this first generation 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner. It is available for viewing and inquiry at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis. One thing that should really excite you about this Mopar is the recently completed exterior paint job. The high-satin-gloss purple paint with gold stripes makes this Plymouth Roadrunner look strikingly royal. On the passenger-side rear there is a classic Plymouth Road Runner Standing Bird decal. There are just a couple minor imperfections that might withhold it from being truly award-winning show car quality, but for the uninitiated there is nothing pure joy to behold here. Similarly, the interior has been very well-kept, with just a couple things to prove that it is an original. The white vinyl interior is nice and tight and shows extremely little wear. The headliner is clean and doesn't show any stains, tears, or smoke damage. The dash looks original and does not show signs of normal aging or fading from exposure to the sun. Underneath the air-grabber hood is a 440 Six Pack V8 with only 63,502 miles which are believed to be actual to the car. Built from 1967 to 1971, the 440 Six Pack is a high-performance engine that has light wall construction, precision cast-iron block, and iron heads. This Roadrunner is a beast class muscle car that you can immediately enjoy.
