For sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom we have this rare 2007 Ford Mustang Vortech Edition. American Specialty Cars (ASC) teamed up with Vortech Engineering, and debuted the Vortech Edition Mustang at the '06 SEMA show. This is the first time in Vortech's long history in which it has permitted a specialty-car manufacturer to use the Vortech name as a benchmark for creating a car. The crew at ASC combined speed and looks to form the next great American icon. With only 100 examples being sold through select Ford dealers, this car will be hot in more ways than one. These models are equipped with a Vortech blower and an air-to-water charge cooler. Packing eight pounds of boost, the modified mill now pushes out an estimated 515hp. Keeping the 4.6 Liter engine cool is an LFP radiator, while beefing up the shifting chores of the factory 5 speed manual transmission are a SPEC flywheel and clutch. Baer GT-Plus front and Eradispeed rear brakes provide the stopping power. The look of this special edition Mustang is finished off with a ducktail rear spoiler, CDC front spoiler and a Street Scene Equipment black and chrome grille that replaced the factory grill. The example we have for sale is just broken in with less than 33,000 miles on the clock. It is just absolutely fantastic to drive this Mustang. A real muscle car with plenty of power. The car is ready to go and if you are looking for something special, here it is. Let it ride!!! The year was 1966 and there was a Texan in the White House, a guy named Andretti earned rookie of the year honors at last year’s Indy 500, and a former oilfield roughneck and retired chicken farmer named Carroll Shelby was building hot Mustangs. Fast forward to 2007 there is a Texan in the White House, a guy named Andretti earned rookie of the year honors at last year’s Indy 500, and a former oilfield roughneck and retired chicken farmer named Carroll Shelby is (once again) building hot Mustangs. These cars start life as a regular Mustang GT, built in the Flat Rock, Michigan assembly plant, and is then shipped to the Shelby factory in Las Vegas for the transformation to a Shelby GT. When it comes out the other side, the 4.6-liter V-8 makes 319 horsepower, a gain of 19 ponies over a Mustang GT. This specific pony boasts a Ford Racing Whipple W140AX 2.3 Liter twin screw intercooled supercharger. Extra hardware includes a cold-air intake; a slightly more aggressive engine computer tune, a high-flow exhaust; a welcome inch-and-a-half drop with stiffer shocks, springs, and anti-roll bars front and rear; and a short-throw Hurst shifter for the five-speed manual. This Shelby wears the Mustang GT's optional 18-inch wheels and P235/50ZR-18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A all-season tires. The GT wears the GT-H's brushed aluminum grille, and the hood gets a riveted-on scoop. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this stunning 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby-Paxton Supercharged Edition. An incredibly rare car, the Paxton supercharged cars number fewer than 30, and this serialized and registered Mustang is number 16. Shelby was initially developing the Shelby-Paxton SC model to be as close to the original Shelby 350 road racer as possible. But ultimately the Paxton versions couldn't consistently pass EPA CARB testing. Somewhere around 25-30 Paxton kits were sold/installed before production was halted, and that was that. This is your chance to own #16! These Factory Shelby setups included the centrifugal supercharger, an intercooler plenum with reservoirs, a Diablo Predator OBC tuner and appropriate ECU software tunes. This is the same type supercharger design as the original GT 350-a centrifugal type blower vs roots type. This Mustang also includes; Dynatech full length race headers, hi flow cats, x pipe running thru stock GT mufflers and 550 hp and 501 ft. lbs of torque, upgraded fuel injectors, appropriate spark plugs, cold air intake set-up and twin Ford GT 40 fuel pumps. Shelby optional SC gauge pack and Shelby installed-Hurst short throw shifter, Shelby installed Ford Racing Program suspension, tuned dampers, lowering springs, sway bars and strut tower brace, (lowering the car by 2”) In addition, the car includes; new /unused original Shelby logo floor mats, unused car cover, Diablo OBC programmer- tuner with extra and stock fuel maps. A three-ring binder detailing the car, its specifics, and history is available as a part of the sale. This Shelby has been painstakingly cared for, and the extra attentions shows in every detail. 1950 Ford F1

1950 Ford F1

Engine: 239 CID Flathead V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Built with simplicity in mind, this 1950 Ford F-1 is equipped with only the essentials but did not have any expense spared during the process. The heart and soul of this pick up is a completely rebuilt 1950 Ford flathead V8 bored .60 over and roughly 1,500 miles since completion. The lope at idle provided by the Comp Cams Thumpr (#41-600-7) is the only music you will need on your ride and is very distinguishable sound. Also equipped is Offenhauser pistons, Mahle rings, Isky valve spring, and Ford rods, crank and block. Hooked up behind the flathead is a 3-speed manual transmission rebuilt at the same time as the engine and shifts smoothly between gears. The cab of the truck is still the 1950 Ford F-1 but has been heavily modified to give it the much sleeker look it has now. 6” of the top were sliced out to bring the profile lower and was moved 18” further back on the frame allowing it to run without fenders. The hood was custom built for this truck and transitions smoothly into the 1943 International fire truck grill. The bed was also built specially for this truck and matches the rest of the build very well. Slide inside the truck and you will wonder if it is even functional with how simplistic it is. The metal dash is smooth with only three gauges; Water temp left side, Oil pressure, Water temp right side. The custom bench seat sits low in the cab giving plenty of head room for all and a very comfortable driving position. All of the electronic connections have been mounted in a box behind the seat keeping the cab uncluttered and everything easily accessible. One cruise in this truck and you will be hooked! The ride is smooth and comfortable, the exhaust note will give you chills and surprisingly is not overbearingly loud and will turn heads everywhere it goes. If you are looking for a completely rebuilt and restored truck that is going to stick out from the rest of the crowd this truck is a great choice! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1950 Ford F-1 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1931 Ford Sedan Slant Window

1931 Ford Sedan Slant Window

Engine: 350 CID Crate V8
Transmission: TH-350 Automatic
Mileage: 1,100 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a green 1931 Ford Slant Window Sedan. The green body is accented with dark green fenders, that feature a bit of metallic flake throughout, and ghost flames on the front fenders stretching back. The steel wheels have been painted dark green and have chrome moon dish hub caps, completing the classic street rod look. On the inside you will find the door panels and rear seat are finished in dark green and tan vinyl upholstery. The front seat was swapped out at some point for late model gray cloth seats. A tilt steering wheel helps the easy in and easy out factor of this street rod, as it seems we are larger humans today, compared to 1931. Powering this 31’ Ford is a 350 CID Crate V8 engine with aluminum valve covers and an Edelbrock intake, carburetor, and air cleaner. A TH-350 automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter transfers the power to the Ford 9” rear end that houses 3.00 gears. The odometer reads 1,100, which is believed to represent the mileage put on the car since the build was complete. Options for this 1931 Ford Slant Window Sedan include: Tilt Wheel, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Hub Caps. This 31’ Ford is a great example of a street rod that could be driven and enjoyed in its current state or restored to the new owner's liking one step at a time. Either way good times are sure to be had in this classic Ford Sedan. To view this 1931 Ford Slant Window Sedan in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
