1969 Buick Riviera

1969 Buick Riviera

Engine: 430 CID V8 4 BBL
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 50,320 ( actual )

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a gorgeous 1969 Buick Riviera. Upon its high-profile debut into the automotive market, the Riviera was meant to take the automotive industry by storm, and it did just that. This vehicle received praises from just about everybody that laid eyes on these beautifully designed Buicks. For 1967, Buick introduced a very significant engine into the line-up which replaced the previous 425CID "Nailhead" V8. The new and improved 430CID 7.0L V8, which pumped out a very impressive 360 horsepower and a whopping 475-pound feet of torque, was its replacement. All this power was catered through its Turbo-Hydramatic TH-400 3-Speed Automatic Transmission which shifts beautifully. The 430 CID V8 in this ‘69 Buick runs great and sounds even better. The dramatic coat of high gloss Gold paint gives this Riviera a menacing look with the Black Vinyl top and does a great job of making all the chrome trim on the vehicle pop. This beautiful machine rests comfortably on a set of Original Buick Wheels with radial tires. This Riviera has all the attributes of a great personal luxury car such as; Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power windows, Power seats, Tilt Wheel, and a Black Vinyl interior in very good condition. You can really tell when a car is built with a passion and purpose and this Riviera is a great example of just that. 1973 Buick Riviera

1973 Buick Riviera

Engine: 455 CID V8
Transmission: TH400
Mileage: 52,773 ( actual )

We at Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa are excited to present to you this epic 1973 Buick Riviera. Here we have a 455 cubic inch 4 barrel rocket ship. This thing will cruise you down the highway at speed while keeping you in comfort. This Riviera will take you back to 1973 with its dark grey exterior and white top along with its chrome/black wheels. The interior is in great condition as well and is a mixture of white seats on black carpet. Now for a little bit of history on this body style of Riviera. The Riviera was radically redesigned for the 1971 model year with flowing and dramatic "boat-tail" styling. Designed under Bill Mitchell's direction, it was penned by Jerry Hirshberg, future head of design for Nissan, mating the two-piece vee-butted fastback rear window, inspired by the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray split window coupe, to the Riviera's platform. The design was originally intended for the smaller GM A platform, and the use of the Riviera's body—expanded for 1971 by 3 in (76 mm) in wheelbase and more than 120 lb (54 kg) heavier—produced controversial looks. This generation introduced a much more visual representation of the "sweepspear", with a more faithful representation to the version that appeared on 1950s Buicks in both the side molding and beltline. The 455 engine had a lower compression ratio to meet EPA emissions requirements, reducing power to 255 hp (190 kW), with 265 hp (198 kW) in the Gran Sport. Performance remained reasonably brisk, with a 0–60 time of 8.1 seconds for the GS. One noteworthy advance was Buick's Max Trac limited-slip differential. Don't miss your chance to own this awesome car! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1973 Buick Riviera, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1970 Buick LeSabre

1970 Buick LeSabre

Engine: 455 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 33,087 ( actual )

We have a beautiful 1970 Buick Le Sabre It features a gold exterior and black vinyl interior. It boasts a powerful 455ci motor backed by an automatic transmission. Only minor detail changes including grille and taillight revisions were made to the 1970 LeSabre. New features this year included a hidden radio antenna which amounted to two wires embedded in the windshield. Wheelbase was increased by one inch to 124 inches (3,100 mm), matching direct competitors such as Oldsmobile Delta 88, Mercury Monterey and Chrysler Newport. Both base and Custom models were again offered. Engines were revised with the standard 350 two-barrel V8 increased in horsepower from 230 to 260. A new option for 1970 was a low-compression regular-fuel version of the 350 four-barrel rated at 285 horsepower and the high-compression premium fuel 350 four-barrel V8 was reworked with horsepower upped to 315 on a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio. Added to the lineup was a new LeSabre 455 line which shared interior and exterior trimmings with the LeSabre Custom and was powered by Buick's new 455 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor, 10.25 to 1 compression and 370 horsepower, which also required premium fuel. Transmission offerings included a standard three-speed manual with column shift for the base 350 two-barrel or optional three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic 350 automatic, which was standard equipment with the two 350 four-barrel engines. This transmission completely replaced the old two-speed automatic offered with the smaller base engines in past years, while the 455 was paired with the Turbo Hydra-matic 400. Buick now joined other GM divisions in marketing the automatic transmission under the Turbo Hydra-matic trade name rather than the "Super Turbine" designation used since 1964. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1970 Buick Le Sabre in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1969 Buick GS 400 Stage 1

1969 Buick GS 400 Stage 1

Engine: 455 CID 4BBL V8
Transmission: TH400
Mileage: 10,000 ( since rebuilt )

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this amazing 1969 Buick GS 400 Stage 1. The Stage 1 was a bit of a humble legend in the muscle car world when it arrived. Although its GM brethren motor divisions were producing cars like GTO, Chevelle SS and 4-4-2’s, that didn't mean Buick was standing pat. In fact, the GS 400 got standard functional hood scoops for '69, something none of its higher-profile corporate siblings had. The "Cool Air" induction system used a twin-snorkel air cleaner with two foam muffs that sealed against the scoop openings. Some local circles even dubbed the car “The Judge Killer”. New for 1969 were the Stage 1 and Stage 2 options on these iconic muscle cars. Stage 1 boosted output to 345 bhp. It had a high-lift cam, 11.0:1 compression instead of 10.25:1, a special carburetor and fuel pump, and larger low-restriction exhausts. The original, numbers matching engine for this GS Stage 1 sits on an engine stand and will come with the GS if you decide to add this beauty to your collection. Currently under the hood is a 1971 455cid that has been completely rebuilt to Stage 1 specs with roughly 10,000 miles on the overhaul. Power is paired to a TH400 floor mounted automatic and spins the 3:42 Posi rear end to translate power to pavement. This GS 400 Stage 1 is only 1 of 832 automatic’s ever built and with power steering and power brakes, it makes this muscle car a blast to drive. All brake components have been addressed and rebuilt for reliability and drivability. You can confidently drive this Buick anywhere although its main use was as a fair-weather cruiser. The GS 400 Stage 1 is dressed in Crystal Blue which accents all of the restored chrome with a touch of luxury and class. The interior is a place of comfort just as Buick intended and provides great options like tilt wheel and extremely comfortable bucket seats with a console. Buick rallyes look mirror like and even the clock works on this beauty. If you’ve been looking for an iconic muscle car that you can drive and enjoy, this is likely your best candidate. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa Is proud to offer this sharp 1963 Buick Riviera. This car still has the numbers matching engine and transmission with only 78k miles! The Buick Riviera is a personal luxury car produced by Buick from 1963 to 1999. GM's first entry into that prestige niche, the Riviera was highly praised by automotive journalists upon its high-profile debut. While early models stayed close to the original form, eight subsequent generations varied substantially over the Riviera's thirty-year lifespan. In all, 1,127,261 were produced. This Buick was repainted about 2 years ago but kept the factory color. The Burgundy paint, chrome accent pieces, and glass is all still in great condition and looks as it has been redone. It shared the standard Buick V8 engines, with a displacement of either 401 cu in (6.57 L) or 425 cu in (6.96 l), and the unique continuously variable design twin turbine automatic transmission. Power brakes were standard, using Buick's massive "Al-Fin" (aluminum finned) drums of 12 in (300 mm) diameter. Power steering was standard equipment, with an overall steering ratio of 20.5:1, giving 3.5 turns lock-to-lock. The production Riviera was introduced on October 4, 1962, as a 1963 model, Its distinctive bodyshell was unique to the marque, unusual for a GM product. It rode a cruciform frame similar to the standard Buick frame, but shorter and narrower, with a 2.0 in narrower track. Its wheelbase of 117 in and overall length of 208 in were 6.0 inches and 7.7 in shorter, respectively, than a Buick LeSabre, but slightly longer than a contemporary Thunderbird. At 3,998 lb, it was about 390 pounds lighter than either. This First Generation Riviera has been well maintained and is ready to be taken out and shown off to the world. 1960 Buick LeSabre

1960 Buick LeSabre

Engine: 364 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 39,361 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to be able to offer this sleek 1960 Buick LeSabre. This beautiful machine has received a nice restoration and is ready to hit route 66 for a cross country cruise. The 1960 LeSabre received a major facelift, the new body design sharing only the roof and trunk lid with the 1959 model. The new Buick now sported a concave grille and horizontal headlights centered by Buick's then-new "Tri-Shield" logo, which is still in use today. Reintroduced to Electras and other Buicks for 1960 were the chrome "VentiPort" portholes first introduced in 1940 and last seen in 1957. LeSabre and Invicta models had three portholes while Electras and Electra 225s were "four-holers". Inside, a revised instrument panel featured a "Mirromatic" speedometer for which the lens could be adjusted to better visibility to suit the driver. A new two-spoke steering wheel with horn bars was introduced, replacing the time-honored horn ring then still common to most automobiles. The 250- and 300-horsepower 364-cubic-inch V8s were continued from 1959, but a new no-cost option was a 235-horsepower lower-compression two-barrel version of the 364 with a lower compression ratio to permit use of regular-grade gasoline instead of the premium fuel required with all other Buick engines. This Buick two door hard top is in fantastic shape inside and out. The crazy stylish Chalet Blue interior and exterior is completely redone to feel fresh and in like new condition. The paint shines in the sun with chrome all over the body makes this car very sharp and turns heads anywhere that it goes. The real fun is with the 3 on the tree manual transmission. This car starts right up and runs like a dream. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1960 Buick LeSabre two door hardtop, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1968 Buick Skylark

1968 Buick Skylark

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 200 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is a nostalgic 1968 Buick Skylark Custom convertible. For 1968, GM restyled their A-body platform with a fresh look. Built from the factory dressed to impress, and equipped with plenty of nice touches, this Buick is a fine representation of late 60's "luxury with performance". Powering this '68 Buick GS for sale is a freshly-rebuilt 350 CID V8 engine, with only about 200 miles on it. This 350 comes with a mild performance cam, a T/A Performance Products Stage 1 intake manifold, 4BBL Edelbrock carb, long tube headers, and T/A Performance aluminum valve covers. Buick's factory rating for their 350 CID V8 was listed 280 horsepower; so, no doubt this one has upped the ante. To keep the big V8 in the cool zone, a big Champion Cooling Products aluminum radiator (with a built-in trans cooler) has been installed. Fire up the big V8, and it produces a healthy rumble through its Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust. One can immediately tell that this Buick fits the definition of "The Gentleman's Muscle Car." Sticking out at shows, this Buick Skylark Custom convertible for sale is a solid example befitting Buick's catch phrase "The Distinctive Personal Car for Americana on the GO." Backing the healthy 350 is a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission, and a set of Equus gauges and tach help the driver keep tabs on the drivetrain. Add in power steering and power brakes and you have yourself one comfortable ride. The exterior is a driver quality shade of Metallic Blue. Paired with a black convertible top, it's easy to see that this car was born during the muscle car era! The 17" chromed aluminum Ridler 5 spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45-ZR17 Toyo Extensa HP radial at all 4 corners. Make your way into the cockpit, and you'll feel like you've been taken back in time. White vinyl adorns the front and rear bench seats, with the rest of the interior done in black, providing a nice contrast. With enough room for you and five of your friends, this Buick is begging to be your new party barge! Options on this 1968 Buick Skylark Custom convertible include: Aluminum Wheels, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Vinyl Seating. Whether you're looking for a weekend cruiser, you're a Buick aficionado, or simply want another toy for your collection, this Buick is for you.
