1994 marked the first major redesign for the Mustang in 15 years! The newer design, code named “SN-95” by Ford was still based on the Fox platform. It features dramatically new styling by Patrick Schiavone that incorporated some stylistic throwbacks to earlier Ford Mustangs. The car remained a rear-wheel drive but the redesign helped greatly revive the popularity of the brand. This year also brought the return of the very successful Cobra model, equipped with the 5.0 Liter engine now rated at 240 horsepower. The Mustang Cobra Convertible was selected as the official Pace Car for the Indianapolis 500, making it the third time that the Mustang had enjoyed such a great honor. 1,000 replicas of the Rio Red with Saddle Leather interior cars were built and sold through select dealers. Replacing the 150 mph speedometer of the GT models is a 160 mph speedometer. Larger disc brakes, a manual transmission, and suspension modification followed. This 1994 Indy Pace Car has only 59,725 actual miles showing on the odometer. The Rio red paint is original and still shines like it did when it was new. When you look inside the car the black and tan interior is just as inviting as ever and contrasts well with the exterior of the car. Mounted on 17x8 inch cast aluminum alloy wheels are P255/45ZR17 Goodyear Eagle GS-C radial tires. You can view this 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra Indy 500 Pace Car in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 5.8L EFI H.O. V8 Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 39,071 ( actual )
For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a one owner, low mile 1994 Ford F150 SVT Lightning. This was the second year for the Lightning and it was clear that Chevy was worried as they discontinued their SS 454 Silverado. Excellent job Ford! These have been collector pieces since new and low mileage examples are becoming much more difficult to find. With 39,071 miles and a one owner status, you would be hard pressed to find a better example to add to your collection. Power for the Lightning comes from an SVT built 5.8L 351 that is equipped with GT40 heads, roller camshaft, free flowing exhaust and a special tune. A 4-Speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the rear end that houses 4.10 gears. Wheels were a Lightning only design and were aluminum 17x8 wheels. With 240 horsepower and a stump pulling 340 lbs./ft. of torque, there's no trouble melting the rear tires if one chooses to do so. An interesting factoid for this particular Lightning is that is was equipped from the factory with dual 34.7 gallon fuel tanks. The odometer reads 39,071, which represents the actual mileage on the truck. Options for this 1994 Ford F150 SVT Lightning include: Air conditioning, Pioneer AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cloth Interior, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cruise Control, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. The original window sticker, SVT certificate of authenticity, and Lightning brochure are all included in the sale. This is a verified one owner SVT Lightning with low miles that is ready for a new owner to enjoy at car shows or just drive on the weekends. Our Milwaukee showroom is proud to present this stunning 1995 Ford Mustang GT! This Mustang packs a 347 Ford crate engine with a Vortec V-2 supercharger, which was just rebuilt by Vortec with an upgraded impeller. This beast was tuned on a Dyno to 460 hp. Also added to this beauty is a Basani exhaust. You’ll love the custom leather interior, air conditioning, cruise control, power seats, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes and CD player. Following the base Mustang in December 1993, the Mustang GT was reintroduced in January 1994, featuring higher performance and better handling than the base Mustang or its 1993 predecessor. Ford carried over the 302 CID Windsor pushrod small-block V8 engine (called the "5.0 L" although its capacity was 4.94 L) from the 1993 Mustang GT. Total output from the engine was 215 hp (160 kW; 218 PS) at 4200 rpm and 285 lb·ft (386 N·m) of torque at 3400 rpm. Mustang GTs could deliver zero to 60 mph (97 km/h) acceleration times in the high-six second range and complete a quarter mile in about 15 seconds. The Mustang GT also featured a stiffer handling suspension, a 3.08:1 rear axle ratio (later changed to 3.27:1 or 3.55:1 depending on the transmission and model year), dual exhausts, and larger 16-inch (410 mm) wheels (compared to the base Mustang's 15-inch wheels). The 1994 Mustang GT was named Motor Trend Car of the Year. Gateway Classic Cars in Scottsdale, Arizona takes great pride in offering this 1923 Fort T-Bucket Roadster for sale in our showroom. Ford Model T Two-seater Roadsters which had a bucket shaped body were used as the base for the “T-Bucket”, a hot-rodder which were created and named by Norm Grabowski. Grabowski was instrumental in the popularity of the “T-Bucket” by redesigning the car for a character to drive in the TV program “77 Sunset Strip”, which ran from 1958 - 1964. This T-Bucket is sporting a blue paint job with a black vinyl interior. The 383 Stroker motor with its exposed headers is hiding from nobody as it’s the most prominent part of this hot rod. The Turbo 350 transmission sends the power to the over-sized rear wheels through an 8-inch Ford rear end. The entire drivetrain has only 100 miles since its rebuild and is more than ready for the street. The electrical system has been completely replaced from the wiring harness to the fuse block to the ignition switch to the aluminum billet battery tray and cables. The fuel system is brand-new including a new fuel cell, sending unit, new fuel lines all the way down to the fuel gauge. A new auto transmission cooler with new lines, tubes, fittings and adapters has been added to assist the Turbo 350 in its mission to help the horses get to the rear alloy wheels. Engine: Flathead 4Transmission: 3-Speed ManualMileage: 5,632 ( undocumented )
For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door, 5 window coupe, and features a fold-a-way rumble seat behind the cab of the car. 1931 would be the last year for the ever popular Model A. Most would say the 5 window to be one of the most popular, especially for hot rodders. However, this fine example is no hot rod. This is a very well cared for original that has been fitted with some aftermarket add ons. First, and fairly common, are the add on turn signals. The next one is a big one, an inline gear reduction unit, a.k.a. an overdrive unit. This will make highway speeds a reality. It engages electronically via a switch located on the steering column. The body is finished in a dark brown that features a very slight metallic flake, the fenders are a solid gloss black, and the wire wheels are finished in yellow. The body features a yellow pinstripe to tie the whole thing together. The seat in the cab and rumble seat feature black vinyl upholstery, which are in very good condition. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The odometer reads 5,632, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe include Vinyl Interior, Wire Wheels, Bias Ply Tires, and a Rumble Seat. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. It is ready for a parade or just a nice stroll on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Take home a piece of history with this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. To view this 1931 Ford Model A in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
