Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is eagerly offering this stunning 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint for sale right now in our Tennessee showroom. This little hardtop presents itself very nicely in its original ‘Ming Green’ paintjob. However, this is one of those paintjobs that will start a debate at your local car show because in certain lights it looks more turquoise, or a mix between green and blue. The vinyl interior of this hot ride matches the exterior and is well-preserved in appearance. Much of the work done to this car recently has vastly improved how it drives. The current owner has shoveled in excess of $40,000 into a professional overhaul of this car and some of the highlights include Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, an Edelbrock Performer 4-barrel Carburetor with Electric Choke, SSBC Disc Brakes, a Northern Muscle Car Aluminum Radiator and a Mallory Electric Ignition. There is plenty more about this build we need to tell you, too! Powering this peppy Ford is a 302 CID V8 that was rebuilt in 2015 tied to a Bowler Performance 4R70W Transmission with overdrive. This Falcon for sale will keep you comfortable with fully functional Custom Vintage Air and it sounds the part too with a custom exhaust and dual chrome tips. This is a car that you will find hard to pass up once you see it and for the money it will be difficult to find a better example. This 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint for sale right now in our Nashville location is ready for its next owner and it has never looked better! Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this awesome Ford Falcon from 1963. This was the final year for the first generation of the North American Falcon. This Falcon is powered by the inline 6 cylinder Mileage Maker engine that Ford designed to achieve a staggering 30mpg! The Falcon went on to be the basis for which the legendary Mustang was based. The Falcon Sprint was a limited production version of the Falcon which was nearly mechanically identical to the 1964 ½ Mustang. With a length of 181 inches and a wheelbase of 109.5, the Falcon was one of Ford’s smaller vehicles. Construction was unibody and suspension was fairly standard with coil springs in the front and lead springs in the rear. Brakes were drums all around and a the two-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was an additional option from the 3-speed manual that was the base transmission. The market shift which spurred the development of the Falcon and it’s competitors also precipitated the demise of several well-established marques in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Edsel, Nash, Hudson, DeSoto and Packard nameplates all disappeared from the marketplace. Robert McNamara, a Ford executive who became Ford's president briefly before being offered the job of U.S. Defense Secretary, is regarded by many as "the father of the Falcon". McNamara left Ford shortly after the Falcon's introduction, but his faith in the concept was vindicated with record sales; over half a million sold in the first year and over a million sold by the end of the second year. This is a survivor car and should be appreciated as such. It hasn’t been modernized like many have been. You will find an AM radio, hub caps and radial tires. You will be pleased to know that the headlights, brights, turn signals, parking lights, reverse lights, wipers, brake lights, gauges, radio, heat and horn all work! This 1963 Ford Falcon is for sale in our Houston Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. This 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL is for sale ion our Louisville KY showroom. The Galaxie was Ford’s answer to GM’s extremely popular Impala. The Galaxie 500 nameplate was added to the 59 Fairlane as a top of the line trim level in 1959. In 1960 it became its own car with its own style and engine packages. This 62 is a great example of what you would expect in 1962. The white paint is in excellent condition with the simple flick of a switch activating the power top. With the top out of the way an extremely nice stock black vinyl interior is easily exposed. With the buckets eats upfront separated by a console which houses the shifter a rare option for 62. The white paint is clean and shows extremely well with the chrome fender skirts complimenting that old school look. The trim ties in with those big chrome bumpers while black accents bring it all together. Open that long hood and one of the cleanest engine compartments I have seen is glaring back at you. The FE series 352 gets the car going down the road nicely with plenty of low end grunt to get you going. Drop that shifter into drive and let the cruise-o-matic do the rest. Shifting through all 3 gears nicely this car is meant to hit the road and cruise. If you have been wanting to get a classic 60’s era drop top that runs as good as it looks this 62 Galaxie is the one for you. Options on this 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Top, Hubcaps, and Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this stunning 1964 Ford Thunderbird convertible. For 1964 the Thunderbird was restyled in favor of a more squared-off appearance, which was mostly evident when viewing the car from the side or rear. Hinting at its roots in the previous generation Thunderbird that it evolved from, the new model retained a similar grille design with dual headlights and a 113” wheelbase. As before, the new Thunderbird continued to be offered in hardtop, convertible, and Landau versions. The 300 horsepower 390ci V8 continued as the standard engine for the Thunderbird. It was paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Ford Thunderbird is looking for the next owner to give it some love and restore it back to showroom condition. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a very unique 1962 Ford Econoline Van. This ’62 Ford Econoline is one of the coolest van’s rolling down the road and with its recent restoration, you can be sure it’s got a lot of road life left. At first glance, the Glazier Blue paint looks absolutely amazing and has a showroom shine to match the rest of the Econoline’s qualities. The potent 140ci 6 cylinder is backed by a Green Dot C4 Transmission with less than 50 miles on the rebuild. Seller states the van was used as a flower delivery van for most of its life in California. With low original mileage, this was the best slate for a nice restoration. The interior speaks for itself and is very welcoming. Not only is it comfortable but it has more than enough for the grandkids or some friends to hang out in the back when having a family BBQ or a beach night with the gang. The chrome shines bright and with newer wheels and tires, this one has a comfortable ride with a great stance. The driving experience is very memorable and easy to get used too. If you are looking for the ultimate beach cruiser, this is definitely one to consider. Engine: 427 CID V8 EngineTransmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 6,600 ( undocumented )
Philadelphia Gateway Classic Cars welcomes a new Fairlane to the fold. This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 equipped with a 1965 427 C.I. Factory Crate Motor and 4 speed manual transmission is a BAD car. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Not in this case though. This Fairlane 500 is inspired by it’s racing cousin the THUNDERBOLT. The car was redone in 2006. The body was completely stripped and returned to what is believed to be the factory color. No panels needed to be replaced. It is done in a deep Maroon. Of course, the Thunderbolt teardrop hood scoop has been added. When you open the hood on this car you are overwhelmed by engine. The Thunderbolt style grille fed induction system makes it clear that this car is built to run. Large tube thunderbolt reproduction headers, MSD electronic ignition, high output starter and an aluminum water pump are some of the performance modifications done to this Fairlane. The rear is a 9 inch Ford unit with 3:50 gears. Inside the car is the stock interior in excellent condition. There is a 60’s style column tachometer and a tri gauge setup under the dash to monitor the vitals. The race car feel means no frills on this car it is radio delete and a bench with floor shifter. The look, the feel, the sound it is all there but the best is yet to come. Turn the key and be prepared to be impressed. This car SCREAMS. This 1964 Fairlane grinds the asphalt. There is no doubt that the 427 CI Big Block Ford is a force to be reckoned with. Smooth acceleration and firm shifts send the message that there is allot more left under the hood to be released when the time is right. To view this 1964 Ford Fairlane. in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
