Mileage: 500 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this mean 1950 Buick Riviera. Between the custom slammed look, and the massive powerplant, this beast is sure to be the center of attention at your local car show! Under and through the hood of this beauty is a big and healthy 496 CID big block crate motor thats paired with a Weiand Mega Blower. This powertrain combination provides this heavy car with the power and performance of a modern muscle car. Sending the power to the 9" Ford rear end is a turbo 400 automatic transmission that shifts firmly through the gears with no problems handling the almost 800 horsepower this engine generates. The meat that sends the power to the ground are Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires in 29x185x15LT. When it comes time to slow this big classic to a stop, the driver will appreciate the disc brakes up front. Moving inward, the interior of this slick ride is very plush and comfortable. 1947 Buick Woody Wagon

1947 Buick Woody Wagon

Engine: 248 CID OHV Inline 8 Cylinder
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 36,791 ( undocumented )

The Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a super rare and 1947 Buick Woodie Wagon! While Buick’s postwar lineup was still based upon its prewar designs, the mildly revised 1946–1948 models garnered very strong public favor nonetheless. With the proven overhead valve Dynaflash straight eight, fully coil-sprung suspensions, and Harley Earl-supervised styling with fade-away front fenders, broad grilles, and remarkably restrained bright-trim accents, these cars remain collector staples today. During that era, the Series 50 Super Estate Wagon, with handsome Woodie bodywork by Michigan’s Ionia Manufacturing Company, topped Buick’s mid-tier offerings with a factory price of nearly $2,600. Just 2,036 of them, including five for export, were produced for 1947. This Woodie is a Series 50; Model 59, 110-hp, 248-cid OHV Dynaflash inline eight-cylinder engine with three-speed column-mounted manual transmission. The rarity of this vehicle in todays market makes this beautiful Buick a real gem. The history of this Buick has left its footprint in automotive history and will always be a high value vehicle. The wood accents on the vehicle are in pristine condition and have no splits and show very well. Every bit of this Buick screams nostalgia and has an unforgettable presence and it belongs in a museum or your very own private collection. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of automotive history. For more information on this Buick Woodie Wagon, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff 313-982-3100 or email us at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com.

1970 Buick LeSabre

1970 Buick LeSabre

Engine: 455
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 33,087 ( actual )

We have an awesome 1970 Buick Le Sabre It features a gold exterior and black vinyl interior. It boasts a powerful 455ci motor backed by an automatic transmission. Only minor detail changes including grille and taillight revisions were made to the 1970 LeSabre. New features this year included a hidden radio antenna which amounted to two wires embedded in the windshield. Wheelbase was increased by one inch to 124 inches (3,100 mm), matching direct competitors such as Oldsmobile Delta 88, Mercury Monterey and Chrysler Newport. Both base and Custom models were again offered. Engines were revised with the standard 350 two-barrel V8 increased in horsepower from 230 to 260. A new option for 1970 was a low-compression regular-fuel version of the 350 four-barrel rated at 285 horsepower and the high-compression premium fuel 350 four-barrel V8 was reworked with horsepower upped to 315 on a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio. Added to the lineup was a new LeSabre 455 line which shared interior and exterior trimmings with the LeSabre Custom and was powered by Buick's new 455 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor, 10.25 to 1 compression and 370 horsepower, which also required premium fuel. Transmission offerings included a standard three-speed manual with column shift for the base 350 two-barrel or optional three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic 350 automatic, which was standard equipment with the two 350 four-barrel engines. This transmission completely replaced the old two-speed automatic offered with the smaller base engines in past years, while the 455 was paired with the Turbo Hydra-matic 400. Buick now joined other GM divisions in marketing the automatic transmission under the Turbo Hydra-matic trade name rather than the "Super Turbine" designation used since 1964. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1970 Buick Le Sabre in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.
