The Chevrolet C-10 was the quintessential work horse of its day and was capable of taking on any job that was thrown at it and were used and abused over the many years. This makes survivors like this 1972 well sought after and desired by many who remember the good times of cruising around in their old Chevy pickup. This C-10 has been well kept over the years and was even repainted just a few years back to bring new life into this old classic. The small block Chevy 350 CID V8 has plenty of power left in it and breathes easy with a free flowing exhaust system. The turbo-350 automatic transmission also is in great shape providing smooth shifts throughout all speeds. This truck also has some creature comforts equipped including power brakes and power steering making those longer drives bearable and less strenuous. Climb inside and check out the plastic covered bench that has kept the interior in good shape and clean. The wood grained steering wheel looks nice against the stock dash and gauge cluster that all works well. As you cruise around in this old pickup though it is sometimes easy to forget that you are driving a truck that is 46 years old, the steering is responsive, the power brakes are strong, and the independent front suspension offers a smooth ride. This classic Chevrolet would be an excellent summer cruiser that could still be used as fair weather pickup truck and has a spray in bed liner to protect it from whatever you throw in it. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1972 Chevrolet C-10 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this very well maintained 1970 Chevrolet C-10 with an 8-Foot bed; perfect for cruising, tailgating, or work. This pickup truck has been in the same family for over twenty-years and when purchased in 1998 the faded bed was given a fresh clearcoat and the belts, hoses, body brushings and valve cover gaskets were all replaced. In 2017 a Black Sliding Window, Bed Linder, Bed Rails, Original Wheels, Original Hubcaps, and new B.F. Goodrich Tires and GM Rally Wheels were added. Today, this Second Generation (1967-1972) C-10 still maintains the original intent of Ford with this line to combine some comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. We are still a way off from the F-150 King Ranch, but the taut and black vinyl seating and perfectly maintained dash make for a very comfortable ride. The 3-speed shifter on the steering column allows for easy driving for a truck that will surprise you with how smooth it turns and accelerates. This truck is being powered by a 307 CID V8 engine. Externally, there is a great deal to boast about how the gold and white paint reflects very well under the polished chrome trim, and blue Chevy Bow-Tie. The classic qualities of Chevrolet professionalism and workmanship are evident throughout on this 1970 C-10. Engine: 283 CID V8Transmission: 2-Speed AutomaticMileage: 18,176 ( actual )
Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speed minder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at email@example.com.
