Engine: LS3 6.2L V8Transmission: 5-Speed ManualMileage: 1390 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. Between the modern powertrain and the classic styling, this car is definitely a show stopper. Under the "Stinger" hood of this beast is a Chevrolet LS3 that would have been found in a more modern C5 Vette. Upon starting the engine, everyone around can hear the deep, burbly sounds of the side pipes. This swap not only provides much more power and drivability to the car, but it also makes servicing much easier considering that all of the parts needed for the engine are still mass produced by companies for GM. As for the engine itself, it runs very strong and brings as much power to the car as a big block would have back in the day (hence the big block hood). Sending that modern power to the rear end is a five speed manual transmission that shifts firmly through the gears with an extremely short shifter throw. This car having a modern powertrain, of course it has disc brakes all around that provide a good initial bite along with firm stopping power thanks to a wilwood master cylinder. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in a traditional light blue metalic that looks very nice and correct for the era of car. Finishing the stinger hood is a white stripe. Overall the paint is in very good condition and shows well. Supporting each corner of this beauty are chrome alloy wheels wrapped in low profile performance tires with good life left in them likely sourced from a C5. The white soft top is also in very good condition and moves freely as it should. Upon entering the cabin, the driver will be greeted by a light blue interior to match the exterior. Overall, the interior is in very good condition and accents the excellent work performed on the powertrain and suspension. The vinyl seats provide plenty of comfort while still maintaining decent support for cornering. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the convertible soft top that lets in plenty of sunshine and fresh air. Engine: V-8 Small BlockTransmission: 4 Speed Manual Mileage: 56779 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a stunning 1966 Chevrolet Corvette. The production of the C2 Corvette ran from 1963 to 1967. Describing this convertible as clean would be an understatement. This Chevy is powered by the original 327cid/300hp it was born with. The motor is mated to a four speed manual transmission that shifts with ease. The restoration on this particular Stingray is top notch. It has a convertible top that is like new. The carburetor was recently rebuilt, door panels were replaced, and the battery was replaced in December of 2017. All of the chrome around the bumpers have luster that shows beautifully, as though it was re-chromed yesterday. The gauges on the instrument cluster are crystal clear. Driving this vehicle is a blast as it has power steering and power brakes and no shortage of cold air coming from the air conditioning system. Drop the top and go for a cruise and you’ll never be disappointed. The Silver Pearl paint, which is the original color on this ‘Vette, looks fantastic. This is arguably the best color combination that was available. The red interior is virtually flawless. The engine runs strong and shows very well. Both the driver and passenger door close with next to no effort. Everything about this corvette is amazing, from the performance to the aesthetics. This is a classic that will only appreciate and the demand for these is constantly rising. Get your hands on this iconic piece of American automotive history today! For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. This beautiful coupe has a timeless color combination of Tuxedo Black over Red complimented with red line tires and side exhaust! Power comes from a numbers matching 300 horsepower 327 and is backed up by a 2 speed automatic transmission. Equipment is plentiful and includes Power four wheel disc brakes, side exhaust, Aluminum wheels, Power steering, A/C, Shoulder belts, Leather seats, AM/FM radio, Headrest and Power windows. There's no question that this is a very well equipped Corvette and is also quite rare painted in Tuxedo Black as Tuxedo Black was the least produced color for 1967. Mileage on the odometer is showing 65,764. We have marked the mileage as unknown due to lack of documentation but shows as if it is original to the car. This is an older restoration that still shows well and would be a great cruiser as is or an easy one to take to the next level and attend some NCRS meets for some judging. The 1967 Corvette is one of the greats as it is the last year of the mid year Corvettes and the last of the original Sting Ray. The mid year Corvettes went through a lot of transformations from 1963 to 1967 including a multitude of engines, the introduction of disc brakes and the big block in 1965, mild aesthetic changes with hoods and louvers and some colors specific to certain years. Some say that 1967 was the best and usually is when considered the last year of any generation as all tweaks for improvement have been made and refined. For more information on this eye catching 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this one-of-a-kind, 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This isn't your average '66 Vette. This Blue beauty is a very limited production, 427 CID 390 HP Big Block V8 paired to a 4-Speed manual transmission that is completely original to this Corvette. The powertrain that powers this beast is the same exact powertrain that powered this car as it rolled off of the assembly line in the mid 1960's. This car will get up and go!! This beauty is sure to turn heads and snag a few trophies at your local car show. There is no better feeling than the low-end torque of the big block 427 V8 tugging you through gears and snapping necks along the way. The 60's was definitely a great era for the General Motors Corvette Division due to the timeless design of the Corvette along with its unmatched performance numbers that backed up all the hype. At first glance, you will notice that the gorgeous sharp blue paint shines brighter than the day it rolled off of the assembly line and is accented beautifully with period correct Corvette hub caps. The white vinyl top looks amazing on this show stopper and contrasts the paint to perfection. The interior is dressed in a freshly detailed, Navy vinyl interior which is in beautiful condition and shows very minimal signs of wear. This iconic Corvette is need of only one thing, a new home. If you are in the market for a collectible Corvette that you will absolutely love driving and showing, look no further. The ultimate development of Bill Mitchell and Zora Arkus-Duntov’s Sting Ray concept, the 1967 Corvette is a great choice for upgrading to modern powertrain, mechanicals and passenger accommodations. The final year of mid-year body styling was the least cluttered and arguably most attractive of all, one that seems to encourage builders to preserve its beauty and keep most, if not all, modifications under wraps. In this case the Sting Ray’s stock features are preserved, even to the point of using 1967 Silver Pearl paint and decorating the big-block hood with a contrasting black-Stinger accent. All the correct chrome and stainless trim has been preserved, including the classic Bowtie chromed driver’s mirror and factory-style side exhaust outlets. There is modern Corvette power under the power-actuated hood in the form of an all-aluminum GM Performance Parts LS3 V-8 engine. Rated at 430 HP in the 2008 to 2013 Corvette, this electronically fuel-injected powerplant has been tuned to crank a mighty 525 HP through a 5-speed automatic transmission to the C6 differential. A completely powder-coated, professionally fabricated custom steel-tube chassis enables the use of proven C6 front and C5 rear independent suspension with aluminum double wishbones (also powder-coated). This allows a wide choice of rolling stock; here it comprises chromed 18-inch front and 19-inch rear Aluminum wheels, shod with Toyo red-stripe tires, 275/35-19 rear and 235/40-18 front. Visible through the wheels are the red powder-coated 6-piston C6 Z06 calipers up front, and 4-piston rear Z06 binders out back, which clamp down on drilled and slotted rotors, guaranteeing rapid deceleration from hyperspeed. Inside, you'll see its spectacular distressed red leather interior, which features power windows, Vintage Air, custom red carpeting, Auto Meter gauges, bolstered seats, polished billet controls and a retro-look AM/FM radio with Bluetooth. Don’t let this Jeff Hayes-built '67 'Vette be the one that got away! Options include: Retro-style AM/FM Stereo Radio with Bluetooth, Chromed Aluminum Wheels, Custom Red Distressed Leather, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel.
