Engine: 388 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1,500 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville show room is this mean Pro Street 1934 Chevy Coupe. If Darth Vader drove a hot rod, this would be it. Not unlike the death star, this chariot was built with only one goal in mind… total street domination! Sporting a sinister piano black paint job and black leather interior, this car looks every bit as intimidating as it should be. Under the hood you have an explosive 383 stroker small block chevy and 350 turbo transmission at your command, ready to unleash a win at the drop of the hammer. With that being said, you can still put this ride on the highway in its current setup with 3.90 gears in the rear. Sitting on massive tires in the rear and skinnies up front, you won’t be able to hide the purpose of this monster. The fuel cell is tucked away in the trunk. The deck lid is electrically operated just like the doors of the hangers on an Imperial Cruiser. 1947 Chevrolet 3800

1947 Chevrolet 3800

Engine: I-6
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 16,219 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this restored 1947 Chevrolet 3800. This massive 1 ton is a big-time head turner, not only for its size but for the clean frame off restoration that was done as well. The restoration was completed by Dave Chapman @ Hollister RD Motors. The truck features a stout I6 which doesn’t seem like much, but it will push you down the road with ease. The engine has roughly 1,600 miles on it since the rebuild and is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. The truck also features 4:11 gears, power steering, and of course A/C to keep you cool out on the farm. Moving around the truck you will see it’s sprayed in a sleek butternut yellow. With color matching wheels and a massive 9ft bed, this truck is sure to take home a price at your local car show. This pickup was also known as the Thriftmaster and was the first year of truck series by Chevrolet after WWII. A fun fact is that from 1947-1955 these trucks were the number one in sales in the United States. If that doesn’t scream America I don’t know what does. Some other options include 4-wheel disk brakes, matching spare tire, and custom wood bed. Jumping into the drivers seat you will be comforted by an original styled bench seat that is in great condition. Another neat feature is the manual shifter mounted in the floor. In 1948 Chevrolet decided to change the mounting point up to the column making this what is to be believed as a 1-year option on this truck. 1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flatbed

1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flatbed

Engine: Inline 6
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 66,139 ( undocumented )

This 1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flat Bed truck is for sale in our Louisville Ky Showroom. Chevrolet's new truck series were GM's first new post-war vehicles, as well as America's first new post-war trucks. The 'Advance Style' trucks, with integrated headlights and larger cab, started an industry trend, and the switch from horizontal to vertical front grille set Chevy's trucks apart from all others on the road. Soon all truck builders were redesigning their cabs for three-person seating and more comfort. Advance Design trucks were offered in different several models, identified by a four-digit number displayed on both sides of the hood. Half-ton trucks were 3100 series, with 3/4-ton trucks getting a 3600 designation and 1 ton trucks having the 3800 designation. This beauty is powered by a 235 Cubic Inch Inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission that finishes out with a heavy-duty rear end with dual tires. The dual tires allow for heavier loads by displacing the load over two tires versus one on each side. The Truck has been meticulously restored by the nephew of the original owner. A labor of love here as the family worked together to bring back a piece of history and fond family memories. The dark green paint (color code 93-62006) is in very good shape. Inside the truck is simple with only a vinyl bench seat and the necessary controls to operate the truck. This 1949 Chevrolet 3800 Flat Bed truck is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 7,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in our Houston showroom. Of special note, this is THE 1969 Camaro that Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove in the Goody's Headache Powders commercial, and comes with authentication (including Dale Jr.'s signature). One of the most iconic of the Pony Cars, the 1969 Camaro has developed a cult-like following. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 as Chevrolet's answer to combat the success of Ford's Mustang, which created a whole new vehicle segment, later dubbed "Pony Cars". For 1969, the Camaro received all-new sheet metal (except for the hood and trunk), which served to give the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant, and the headlights were given a new recessed position. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots were positioned ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. This styling is considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most desirable. This car is presented in its original LeMans Blue paint (as depicted on the cowl tag), along with performance white stripe accents. Under the hood lurks a high-compression full roller 350 CID V8, built by Conroes Choice Automotive. It sports a pair of Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and FAST EFI TBI Fuel Injection sits atop the Edelbrock hi-rise aluminum manifold. An MSD Digital 6AL ignition system helps boost the spark, while coated headers suction the exhaust gases into a 2.5" dual exhaust system, and the performance mufflers give it that throaty muscle car sound that enthusiasts crave. The hi-po 350 sends the power to the rear via a built 700R4 4-speed automatic, which twists the 3.90:1 gears in its 10-bolt Posi rear end. In the event you find yourself spending too much time in the throttle, savoring the high RPM howl this 350 makes, the two-piece slotted and drilled Wilwood rotors and their accompanying multipiston calipers up front will help you get back to legal digits quickly. Inside this cool coupe is an Ivory bucket seat interior (also noted on the cowl tag), which seems practically new, as does the black carpet. An Equus tri-gauge cluster above the console helps keep the driver informed about critical operating systems, as well. The console features a period correct "staple" shifter, with an updated gear indicator bezel, alluding to the 4-speed transmission (with "D-3-2-1" positions, rather than the "D-2-1" of a 3-speed auto). Additional features on this 1969 Camaro for sale include Vintage-style AM/FM Radio with Aux port, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior.
