Engine: 396 CID V8Transmission: Turbo-400Mileage: 95,379 ( undocumented )
Now for sale at our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet El Camino SS. This is a numbers matching 396 CID V8 truck with all the power and torque you could ever want! It made 429hp on the dyno. The sound this truck makes is amazing. The color combination looks amazing with blue exterior and interior to match. Cornering and stopping is made easy with power brakes and power steering. The Turbo-400 transmission is a great match for the torque in this truck and shifts smooth between the gears. The front wheel bearing and seals have been replaces, parking brakes were repaired, new tires installed about 1-year ago, all door locks repaired to work correctly, new fan blad, clutch and fan shroud done, new spark plugs, fuel lines and carb kit done too. All of the bed rails have been replaced underneath. 1968 was the first year for the third generation of El Camino, which was based on the Chevelle station wagon and four-door sedan wheelbase. For 1969 only minor changes took place, led by a more rounded front end styling language. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. New round instrument pods replaced the former linear layout. For the first time, the Chevrolet 350 V8 was used in an El Camino. The Super Sport group included a 265- or 325-horsepower 396-cubic-inch V8 beneath a double-domed hood, along with a black-out grille displaying an SS emblem. Curiously, back-up lights moved from the rear bumper to the tailgate, where they were ineffective when the gate was down. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome example of multi-purpose American Muscle, the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino! Built with a small block Chevy 350ci V8 engine, and backed up by a Turbo 350 3-speed Automatic Transmission, you will be ready for the show, driving down the street, or hauling lumber in this classic beauty. The paint job is very reminiscent of the 60’s in this beautiful Forrest Green. Inside the car, we have a luscious tan leather interior on bucket seats which contrasts the exterior very well. This car had gone through a mild restoration and was actually re-painted to match the original vehicle color. The engine and transmission are fresh with less than 1000 miles on them with upgrades like aluminum heads, RV cam, and Holley 4-barrel So it is very good to know the quality of work put into this restoration. Also inside the car, it comes equipped with 2 subwoofers behind the seats to give a better show appeal to the car. This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this “Sweet” 1970 Chevrolet El Camino. What is it? A car? A truck? A car-truck? It’s none of the above. It’s Chevrolet’s ICONIC El Camino and if you want to get technical, it is a coupe utility. The El Camino was based on a two-door station wagon and although it was based on a car line, it’s titled and classified as a truck. What you see here is not the average 1970 El Camino. The “Elky’s” were known to have rust issues, which makes a solid body basic El Camino highly sought after. This El Camino not only has a solid body, it received a refresher recently. The refresher consisted of a new 350, 350 horsepower engine installed along with a 350 transmission. That means this 1970 El Camino is “Show and Go.” Oh yeah…mash that pedal to the metal and watch this El Camino go quickly from mild to wild. The exterior and drivetrain could not be freshened up without touching the interior. Inside, you will find tan leather bucket seats. The tan color compliments the Forrest Green exterior while keeping it unique, classy, and simple. You will also find a three-gauge cluster displaying water temp, oil pressure, volts. Options include AM/FM Radio, Cassette, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Raised White Lettered Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. This awesome 1972 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino, or ELCO, were originally known for the car with a bed appearance. That would all change with the release of the 68 model which had the optional big block engine. With there updated styling and performance people began to take them seriously as a true Muscle Car. This 72 is one of the rare ELCO’s that had the classic muscle car options that still make people go crazy today. Lets just start with the most important pert of a muscle car, what’s under the hood. Though not the original 396 that came in the car this big block sounds great and even runs better. With it being recently rebuilt it is fresh and ready to go. The built 700r4 transmission allows for highway cruising with the OD really coming in handy for that next road trip. The 12 Bolt posi is tough and exactly what you need when having that big block under the hood. Speaking of hood this ELCO’s has cowl induction that works. Smash the gas and watch as the door flips up allowing for some fresh air to feed that 396. The black racing stripes give the ELCO a look that everyone knows and fears. Inside is where this ELCO sets itself apart from the pack. Decoded to be an original bucket seat car with the console mounted shifter this truly is a rare find. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1965 Chevrolet El Camino. This 65’ El Camino is finished in bright white exterior paint and features a turquoise vinyl interior. The turquoise interior is almost all new. The vinyl upholstery and carpet have been recently replaced, and look fantastic. The air conditioning works great, and keeps everyone cool on hot summer days. Providing the unique look and stance are the 20” chrome aluminum/alloy wheels, that resemble the awesome and iconic IROC-Z wheel design. A wheel designer simply took the wheel design and modernized it by enlarging and chroming them. It worked so well, people started putting the wheels on everything, not just Camaro IROC-Zs. Low profile radial tires provide an almost all wheel appearance, completing the custom look. The odometer reads 80,301, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1965 Chevrolet El Camino include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this sleek 1964 Chevrolet Step-side pickup. This first-generation truck was a highly sought after with a lot of new firsts to the trucks of its era. The ’64 featured a modified cab from the ’63 model, and the elimination of the wrap-around windshield was another change as well. This particular ’64 Chevy is powered by a 350 CID V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Both engine and transmission were rebuilt roughly 100 miles ago by “Paisa Auto Tires”. The cool custom truck also features under-glow lighting to really make it stand out at your local car show. Walking around the truck you will find it’s a good driver quality pick up and still capable of attending local car shows. The red paint is in good condition. Engine: 383 StrokerTransmission: TH350 3 Speed AutomaticMileage: 997 ( since rebuilt )
This one off custom built 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 57 Chevy is hands down the most Iconic American ever made. The flowing fins are its classic signature mark and what most people think of when you say 57. They have even been able to stay relevant in the car world for over 60 years. This one off 57 can be simplified in word CLEAN. From the welded and smooth frame underneath to the two-tone paint job up top there is just no better to word to describe it. The car was taking down to bare metal with the only patch being a small one on the floor pan. The body was treated to 2 coats of epoxy primer then a high-build primer that was block sanded with a coat of urethane primer on top of that. The 3 coats of silver were then applied giving the car that great two tone look it has now. Protected by a total of 6 coats of clear giving it a mirror like finish. The billet specialty wheels really set the car off while helping to exaggerate its stance. Under the hood is more top-notch craftsmanship with the core support being the first thing you notice. Hoses have been routed through the fenders giving the engine bay a very clean look. The 383 stroker has been dressed up with a set of custom valve covers and matching breather. The power from that 383 is transferred via a TH350 transmission which shifts out just as it should. The 10 bolt posi rear-end has been filled with a set of 4.11 gears giving this 57-great acceleration. Inside you are surrounded by a custom red interior that has an original feel. Once you get in the vehicle it becomes evident that there have been some custom touches that really put this beauty over the top. The custom dash has been finished off with a set of custom gauges that really set the interior off. With the AC tied into the original controls and vents molded into the dash this must be one of the coolest interiors. If you have been looking for an extremely clean 57 that is a mix of new and old styling look no further. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air include, AC. AM/FM Radio, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information. This 1969 Camaro is a true ss that has been transformed into a custom restomod built by THORNTON out of Telford Pennsylvania. This stunning ’69 stands out from other Camaros with its modern fuel injected engine, updated suspension, and smooth shifting new 4 speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet engineers made this production Performance LS3 6.2L Crate Engine to deliver a stunning 495 horsepower and 473 lb.-ft. of torque. This car is the dream mix of bad to the bone appearance with modern fuel injection modern technology. A major benefit of EFI systems is the greatly improved cold and hot starting performance. This follows from the ability of the system to calculate the optimum air/fuel mixture for starting as well as from the superior atomization that results from injection of the fuel as compared to fuel delivery from a carburetor. If you take a peak under the car you will notice that this car could be literally eaten off of. The HEDTS suspension for the front and rear are all new and set up to be a comfortable driver with coil over shocks. This Camaro SS is set up with a Ford 9” rear end and has amazing stopping power with its adjustable master cylinder and Corvette style disc brakes. This car rumbles with its duel exhaust in idle and has a pure performance feel when accelerating. The style of this car comes from the exterior with its beautiful dark red paint, white hockey stick stripes, and white SS badges. The aggressive stance comes from its deep dish offset 18” in the front and 20” in the rear custom wheel setup. Matching the white accents on the exterior, the interior has comfy white leather bucket seats. The modern feel follows to the inside of the car with its custom sound system and Bluetooth paring abilities. This car is a dream to drive with tons of extras like power steering, power brakes, power windows and locks, and even a tilt steering wheel. Whether you are a collector who wants to put mirrors on the ground and win trophies at shows across the nation or even someone who wants something to enjoy the drivability and put some miles on this beautiful machine, this ’69 SS is perfect for all hobbyists.
