Gateway Classic Cars presents this 1972 Ford Maverick at our Philadelphia showroom! I can honestly say that this Maverick is in better condition than the day it was new. It is the most correct 1972 Maverick that I have ever seen. The car is restored to original standards and equipment level as verified by a Deluxe Marti Report. The Gold Glow Metallic Paint Ford #5079-A and the Ginger / Black Cloth/Vinyl Bench seat are as pristine as they were in 1972. The last time you saw a Maverick like this was in a Ford showroom over 40 years ago. The Maverick was originally conceived and marketed as a subcompact "import fighter", intended to do battle with the Volkswagen Beetle and newer Japanese rivals for North America from Honda, Datsun, and Toyota. The Falcon, Ford's compact offering since 1960 and main rival to the Chevrolet Nova and Dodge Dart, had seen its sales decimated by the introduction of the Mustang in 1964, and despite a redesign in 1966, was unable to meet the then forthcoming U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration motor vehicle standards that would come into effect on January 1, 1970. Consequently, the Falcon was discontinued midway through the 1970 model year, and the Maverick repositioned as Ford's compact entry, giving the Nova and Dart a new rival. The Maverick's styling featured the long hood, fastback roof, and short deck popularized by the Mustang. It featured simple and inexpensive to manufacture pop-out rear side windows rather than roll-downs. This Maverick is well optioned with, Tinted Glass, Vinyl Top, C-4 Automatic, Power steering, Air Conditioning, AM radio, Accent Group, Interior Trim Option, Rear Defogger and Tinted Glass Complete. Oh, and of course the 302 ci V8. Gateway Classic Cars is thrilled to offer this stunning 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible at its Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! Representing the last year of the first generation, this 1973 Mustang rolled off the Dearborne assembly line mid-September 1972 and was sold by the Lucas Ford Dealership in Burlington, New Jersey. The original factory Eminger Invoice, Marti Report, along with the original build sheet go with the car and document its authenticity. These documents list the original factory options! Purchased with 83,327 actual miles from the original owner in 1994, the car underwent a minor restoration and has only accumulated about 3,500 miles since the purchase! The restoration was essentially a paint job, refresh of the engine bay, some interior components and replacement of the trunk floor and tail panel sheet metal utilizing all of the best OEM parts available! The body on this car is in excellent condition and you won’t find reproduction metal anywhere on this car except for the trunk floor. While it left the factory red, it was repainted Gold Glow which shimmers beautifully in the light and looks incredible as its cruises down the road! Also added was a front spoiler, side stripes, and the black “Tu-tone Hood Option,” complete with a NASA style scooped hood. Open that hood to reveal the numbers-matching 302 CID V8 engine as well as correct belts, hoses, starter solenoid, voltage regulator, yellow top coil, air cleaner, and factory decals! The original Motorcraft® two-barrel carburetor was rebuilt five years ago by Pony Carburetors and operates better than it did new! Take note of the authentic touches including paint marks, shock tower braces, head light buckets, and hood latch brackets that are painted factory “Slop Gray.” Even the hood latch and hinges are correct in their appearance! Head on over to the trunk space and you will find the correct splatter paint, the correct scissor jack and lug wrench, full-size spare tire and mounting hardware! This car even has the original convertible top boot cover with its original boot bag! Hop on inside to check out its original Black Deluxe interior and full console with clock! Put on some tunes and put the black power top down on those gorgeous days to get the complete experience! Note the correct date coded seat belts, a clean Ford dash pad, factory steering wheel and gorgeous vinyl upholstery with original “Comfort-weave” vinyl inserts that are no longer available! Rest your hand on the sporty shifter that operates the three-speed Cruise-O-Matic C4 transmission. No need to shift gears, this Mustang has got you covered! This car performs just as it looks, terrific! Just look at the photos and you will see a lot of work went into this car. This car is a survivor that will surely continue to increase in value as the years pass. Very few of these 45-year-old cars are running around in this condition! There no need to do anything else as it’s been done for you! The only thing you need to do is pick up the phone and call us today to secure this beauty! Additional features include Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, AM/FM with dash and door speakers and correct door speaker grills, duel exhaust with correct chrome tips and lower valance. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this survivor 1972 Ford Mustang Mach I for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. Still owned by the original owner's extended family, this medium blue muscle car still retains its original paint and interior. The matching blue interior has held up well and the car is nicely equipped with a 351-2V engine, automatic transmission, power steering, and era-correct ET mag wheels with new BFG tires. The original space saver spare is still in the trunk. At some point, someone had the foresight to order a new set of stripes from the Ford dealer. We offer this 1971 Ford Mach 1 for sale in our Atlanta Showroom. This 351 Cleveland has the business end ready for you. Is there anything cooler than a specialty edition car from the era, I think not, maybe only two specialty cars instead of one. In 1971, the Mach 1 started with a base engine of the 302ci based Windsor motor, with a 2 barrel carburetor, followed by four optional 351 Cleveland engines. One of the most recognizable features of the '71-'73 Mustangs is the optional, standard on Boss, 351 NACA hood design with dual scoops. Though available as a visual, non-functional item, they could be made fully functional on models ordered with the Ram Air option, which included vacuum controlled 'flaps' inside each scoop, and a fiberglass under-hood 'plenum' that directed cool, outside air through a modified, rubber-ringed air filter housing and into the carburetor. The ram-air option included a two-tone hood paint treatment in either 'matte black' or 'argent' (matte silver), coordinated to the base color of the Mach 1 and its decals and striping. In addition, all Ram Air-equipped Mustangs of this generation came equipped with twist-style, chrome-plated hood locking pins. Options include: Cassette Player, Custom Wheels, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, AM/FM radio, radial tires, rally wheels. To view the vehicle in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 302 CID V8Transmission: 3 Speed ManualMileage: 91166 ( undocumented )
This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 73 Mustang is what many will consider the last year of the original Pony car. With the 67 to 72 cars reaching unheard of prices these 73’s are seeing a huge increase in demand. There longer front ends are beginning to catch on with some people preferring them over the earlier cars. This example has been through only 3 owners in the past 25+ years with each one maintaining the car and even keeping the receipts that have been passed on as well. The paint on the car is probably the first thing that catches your eye with it dark and deep red really pulling you in. The silver accents are a nice touch while the black rear and front chin spoiler are left in their natural flat black finish. The custom Mag wheels are a great addition and give the car a more modern feel. The black convertible top looks good when it is up but looks best tucked away and under the either white or black tonneau cover. Under the hood is the most popular engine to ever be put in a Mustang, the small block 302. This one was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago and still runs out great. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts thru the gears nicely with the clutch having a good feel and actually easier to use than most. The interior has been done in a sleek white vinyl with red accents bringing the outside in. If you have been wanting a fun Pony car that has that great modern look this 73 Mustang is the perfect car. Options on this car include AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or Email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Engine: 298 V6Transmission: 4-Speed AutoMileage: 32999 ( undocumented )
We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1953 Ford F100. This ‘53 Ford F100 is the one you have been waiting for. Too often you see cars and trucks that have been personalized past the point of no return. Fortunately, that is not the case with this truck. Looking at this beautiful fire engine red truck is like an artist looking at an open idea. You can leave it the way it is and have loads of fun, or modify it to your liking. The overall stock look is very appealing with the bright red paint and black running boards. The simplistic chrome “dog dish” hub caps and painted steel wheels takes you down memory lane. There is just enough chrome displayed to add to the look, but not take away from the nostalgic feel. You don’t run into these 1953 Ford F100’s in this type of shape often. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. With only a few knobs and switches on the inside, the bright chrome gauge cluster captures your eyes showing speedometer, oil pressure, volts, water temp, and fuel. Powering this classic F100 is a Ford 289 “Y” block mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Adding to the vintage package is the fact that it is “three on the tree.” It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to a pure throwback classic. If it’s too tame for you, let your imagination run wild. The best thing about this 1953 Ford F100 is the fact you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Options include Spare Tire, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and a Wood Slat truck bed. Don’t miss your opportunity to take a trip down memory lane. There is still plenty of country roads out there to explore and car shows to pull up to.
