1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod

Engine: 398 CID V8 Stroker
Transmission: Tremec 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 5518 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a unicorn of sorts. This one though is quite a unique unicorn. In fact if you Google “Blue Eleanor” this car is what you will find. A 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback that started life as a 390 CID car, many many hands were involved in making this dream a reality. The body work was done by Desert Mustangs in Scottsdale AZ. She has made the circuits and was sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2006 and then underwent many thousands of dollars worth of work on the drivetrain to make this monster work in real life. So now the engine is a fully built bored and stroked 398 CID V8 that started as a 351 Cleveland. All of the supporting parts are top notch and support the 575 horsepower this engine creates. There are some cool tricks too. The custom exhaust is very muted until you flip the switch on the center console that opens the exhaust, the car then sings a very different tune. The neighbors will not be very happy with you running through the neighborhood banging through the T56 six speed transmission. All of this is backed by a Ford 9 inch rear differential with 3.89:1 gears and locking differential. No she isn’t a one trick pony either, ac makes driving in any area or time of year comfortable, power steering and power brakes make it all buttery smooth for driving. And please don’t think she is just a show pony either, she did 167 mph in a half mile runway race recently. For all of this shock and awe this is a well sorted car with just the right options that include AC, CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Wheels. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1966 Ford Mustang GT. This sharp GT coupe has been extremely well preserved and is in shocking condition. A Los Angeles 71 DSO car, it then made its way to Colorado, before coming to the St. Louis area in 2003. The vehicle is believed to have its original sheet metal all around as well as original interior. Optioned with Wimbledon white exterior, with red Pony interior, this GT is very well dressed. 1968 Ford Mustang GT 350 Tribute

1968 Ford Mustang GT 350 Tribute

Engine: 347 CID Stroker V8
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1156 ( since rebuilt )

Tributes and clones are a great way to get into a dream car for a smaller price, and this 1968 Shelby GT350 fastback tribute certainly does it right. No expense was spared with this frame off restoration with every nut and bolt either being replaced or refurbished. Kleve Restorations out of Lakewood Colorado sprayed the very clean Ford performance white with Guardsman blue stripes to keep with the Shelby heritage. Every chrome piece is new, plus all of the stainless trim has been professionally restored. It has a long list of authentic parts, a strong running 347 cubic inch V8. Also the right look to make everyone at the local show do double-take when it rolls in. The engine is not original, it was built by Tristar Engines. Helping it pump out 418 horsepower is a set of Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Howard’s roller camshaft, and ceramic coated headers are just some of the top shelf performance part included in the build. When paired with the Tremec 5-Speed T5 Z spec transmission you can cruise down the highway at 1,600 rpm while traveling 65 mph. Anyone lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel will appreciate the great level of detail that went into this car! Once glance at the dash and you’ll notice reproduction Mustang gauges featuring an 8,000 rpm tachometer as weel as a 160 mph speedometer. Making sure you are in total control of everything electrical is the new painless wiring harness complete with modern fuses. 17” Eleanor styled wheels help round out the entire package nicely. You can view this 1968 Shelby GT350 fastback tribute in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1966 Ford Mustang

1966 Ford Mustang

Engine: 221 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 4700 ( undocumented )

This 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe is for sale at our Louisville KY. The 1966 Mustang was pretty much a rollover from the last series 65. Minor trim renditions and new grill were all that was done due to the huge success of the 66. This beauty has gone through a well-deserved restoration turning it into the pony we have today. The body still has the original panels something that is hard to find on these second year Stangs. The blue paint is clean with some flake thrown in to give it a little different look while popping in the sunlight. With the body taken care of it was time to decide the engine and as with the paint it was going to be a little different. The first series Windsor small block V8 221 which bored .030 over seemed to be a great choice. The power output is great for this slick cruising car getting it down the road just fine. Of course, being a cruising car, the suspension was redone as well improving the quality of the ride that much more. The manual three speed shifts nicely and helps to spread out the shifts with second gear having a ton of room. The true dual exhaust helps to give the car a great exhaust note while not being too loud. Open the door and the original black vinyl interior is in very good condition. The bucket seats are comfortable and seem to have plenty of life left in them. If you have been wanting to get your hands on a Mustang but looking for something that is a little different this 66 with its Windsor small block is an excellent candidate. Options on this 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe include; AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and a set Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1966 Ford Mustang can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang

Engine: 298 V6
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 32999 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.
