Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this gorgeous 1935 Ford Pickup available at its showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! Ah yes, the Pickup Truck. Americans have had a love affair with the utility vehicle for over a century and thanks to manufacturers like Ford, the supply has always been there to meet the demand. Ford began its truck program back in 1908 with the Ford Model TT evolving into some of the most recognizable and beloved trucks the auto community has seen. While the 1930s were a decade of financial strain due to the Depression, Ford experienced remarkable success with their durable and cost-effective trucks outselling Chevrolet in 1935 by nearly 300,000 units! This 1935 Ford Pickup is one such example that survived through the years and has been restored to a whole other level! The stunning Jade-Onyx paint was applied back in 2013 and shimmers magically in different lights. A black leather interior was masterfully done and compliments the exterior beautifully. It is here where the nostalgia kicks in as simple gauges are neatly placed along the instrument panel and a shifter, connected to the five-speed manual transmission, rebuilt 60 miles ago, makes driving this great truck a joy! The beauty does not stop with the exterior or interior, but continues with the rebuilt Flathead V8 engine that was bored 3 5/16 and features forged Ross® Pistons, Grant® rings, 4” Mercury Crank, reworked stock rods, 700 cfm Edelbrock® carburetor, polished Edelbrock® four-barrel intake manifold and Late heads, Windfield® SU1A Grind Cam and so much more! This truck is the whole package and then some as it was built beautifully and most importantly, done right! It has been meticulously cared for and includes receipts, invoices and documentation of the extensive work that was put in resulting in the Pickup you see! This is one classic you have to see to believe and surely will not last long! Act now and call us today to find out more about this incredible 1935 Ford Pickup! 1936 Ford Hot Rod

1936 Ford Hot Rod

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 274 ( undocumented )

It’s not everyday that Gateway Classic Cars is given the pleasure to offer a vehicle that was built, documented, and owned by the same individual. What you see here is fantastic mix of 50’s east coast, patina rod, and rat rod stylings that took over 3 years to complete. This 1936 Ford Pickup is the final build of a man’s 45 year legacy of constructing custom rods. The build began with a fully customized frame. The rear is “Z’ed” approximately 10” to make way for a truly sinister stance. Unlike other rat rods, the ’36 Ford truck cab was lovingly restored, channeled 4”, and all cancerous rust was removed and replaced with new metal before being finished in Flat Black. The powertrain boasts an ever-popular and rebuilt/resealed 300 hp Chevy 350 small block pushing 9:1 compression which calls for 87 octane fuel. Lake-style headers provide the driver with an aggressive exhaust note. Behind the mildly-cammed Chevy 350 sits a TH350 3 speed automatic transmission with shift kit, custom driveshaft, and Ford 9” posi rear end with coilovers. The front suspension has been donned with manual rack and pinion steering, period-correct drop axle, and leaf spring. Manual disc brakes from an Impala with new stainless steel lines are utilized up front, while the rear is capped with drums. All gauges are in working order. The 14 gallon fuel cell will provide this build with a longer journey capacity than most custom rods. The car is correctly titled as a 1936 Ford, which can sometimes prove difficult depending on which state you seek approval, and the VIN is stamped both in the frame and firewall. Simply put, you can NOT put a custom rod like this together for even twice the modest sticker price. This ’36 Ford would be a fantastic initiation for anyone interested in entering the world of custom rodding, and all of the difficult work has been performed by a veteran and professional of the automotive business. 1936 Ford Phaeton

1936 Ford Phaeton

Engine: 239 CID Flathead 8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 4,600 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this excellent 1936 Ford Pheaton. By the mid-1930s, fully open cars, the roadsters and phaetons, were losing out to convertible coupes and convertible sedans with roll-up side windows. Some manufactures, like General Motors, cut back on open styles altogether. Ford, however, kept a full line in production into the late 1930s. Even though the 1935 Ford Convertible Sedan had proved popular and the ’36 model even more so, leading to a mid-year version with enclosed luggage compartment, phaetons continued to do well, nearly matching the convertible sedans in popularity. This car has a newer restoration and is presented in Washington Blue and Tan LeBaron Bonney interior. This attractive body type combined modern (for the period) styling and V-8 performance. The engine is a 239-cid flathead V-8 (4600 miles since rebuilt) that is matched to a three-speed manual transmission. The phaeton has long, trim lines and seats six adults comfortably. Options include LeBaron Bonny interior, greyhound hood ornament, spare tire, hub caps, seat belts, vinyl interior, kill switch, wide white walls, and bias ply tires. Ford V-8s of the 1930s have been perennial favorites. This car demonstrates why this is so. 1936 Ford V-8 Deluxe Phaeton This 1936 Ford V-8 Phaeton is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1936 Ford Tudor All Steel

Engine: 350 Small Block
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 676 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1936 Ford Tudor. This beautiful street rod has covered a modest 1,600 miles since its full frame off restoration last year. The restoration started as well as anyone can ask for, a rust free body. This one is all original steel, no fiberglass on this one! Prior to the restoration, the car had been stored in a garage since 1946 with an original 27,000 miles! Even though the car was very solid, the restorer decided to upgrade the chassis to a Pete and Jake frame. This is a great upgrade to handle the added power coming from the Vortec 350 V8. Other upgrades and street rod themed parts include power four wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C system, new front and rear suspension, 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, 700 R4 overdrive automatic transmission, tilt steering column, digital gauges, all new glass, new top, Walker radiator, new high end interior by Sew Fine Interiors of St. Louis and of course wheels and tires. The wheel and tire combo are 17 inch up front and 20 inch out back for a great staggered look. The bumpers were all rechromed and the paint is PPG base/clear Dark Purple Pearl. This '36 Ford is very well built and ready to impress! Call our St. Louis showroom for more information or swing by for an up close viewing. 1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe

1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo 350
Mileage: 34,796 ( undocumented )

This 1936 Ford 5 Window is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 36 Ford was an instant success for the Ford Motor Company with over 800k units sold that year. Still considered by many the best looking front end on any Ford they are a natural fit for a Street rod Build. This beauty has kept its natural lines and appears to be real Henry Ford Steel. One thing is certain the all metal body has slick burgundy paint, accented with some one of a kind hand pinstriping something that is hard to find in today’s world. Open the rear lid and you will be surprised to see not a trunk but a rumble seat allowing for a couple more passengers. The interior of the car was recently done in the 2-tone vinyl you see know which compliments the outside nicely. With the windshield still having the ability to roll out allowing for a great breeze when cruising. Even the pinstriping has been carried in to the inside with a nice design on the glove box which actually conceals the CD player. The bucket seats are comfortable while giving it that custom look. Under the hood is the go to price for any Street rodder, the small block 350 has plenty of power, durability and parts can be found pretty much anywhere. The billet dress up kit looks great and does not require the polishing of chrome. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with firm yet positive upshifts. The 10-bolt rear end has a set of highway gears that allow for a decent RPM when going down the road. If you have been wanting a clean real deal all steel Street rod that loves to be driven down the road this 36 5 Window should be at the top of that list. Options of this 1936 Ford 5 window include; AM/FM/CD, Vinyl Interior, Tilt Wheel, and Alloy Wheels with Radial Tires. 1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang

Engine: 428 Big Block
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 184 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this excellent 1968 Ford Mustang GT. The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power. The 1971 model saw a drastic redesign to its predecessors. After an initial surge, sales were steadily declining, as Ford began working on a new generation Mustang. With the onset of the 1973 oil crisis, Ford was prepared, having already designed the smaller Mustang II for the 1974 model year. This new car had no common components with preceding models. This car has recently finished its restoration with only 185 miles since being a finished project. The car originally came from California and is an actual GT from the factory. It has been repainted to the Highland Green with a stylish black stripe painted on the hood. This car has had the original set up and 302 replaced with a 428, 4 speed manual, Ford 9” rear end, and has a 3.73 gearing. The Ram Air hood is functional and adds an aggressive stylish look to this 1st generation Mustang GT. This GT has many upgrades including a digital dash, custom wheels, and even comes with a Marti Report. The suspension has been lowered with Shelby suspension for a more aggressive look. If you want to add something light, fast, with a professional quality build than this is the Gen 1 Mustang for you. This 1968 Ford Mustang GT is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@33570. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST GatewayClassicCars.com.
