Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this super clean 1965 pontiac GTO tribute car. Between the healthy powerplant and the sharp body lines, this car is truly a very well done example of a tribute car. Under the hood of this beauty is a pontiac 400 CID V8 that was rebuilt roughly 8,000 miles ago. Thanks to that fresh rebuild, the engine pulls well and provides the muscle that GTOs are known for. Sending the power rearward is a rebuilt four-speed Muncie transmission with about 1,000 miles on it. The transmission shifts extremely well through the gears providing the driver with just the right amount of feedback withought being too stiff through the new Hurst shifter. Other new driveline components include the flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The rear end on the car is a ten-bolt geard to a 3.08 ratio which provides plenty of top end for highway cruising. The engine is kept cool by a brand new aluminum radiator which was fitted very recently. Overall, this powertrain is very well put together and certainly provides the driver with an authentic muscle car feel. Upon entering the cabin of this beauty, the driver will be greeted by an extremely clean red vinyl interior that accents the red paint nicely. Power steering and brakes allow for better control of the car while also enhancing comfort. Continuing with comfort, the car features a modern air conditioning system which blows cold and makes this car a pleasure to drive on both fair weather days, and hot summer days. Functioning heat will keep the occupants comfortable in the wintertime also. Tucked in the dash is an AM/FM radio that allows for an enjoyable audio experience. Overall the interior of this sweet ride is put together nicely just like the rest of the car. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in a deep Gaurds Red paint that looks very sharp and gives the car just the right amount of class and aggressiveness to make for an excellent weekend cruiser. Supporting all four corners of this sweet ride are Craigar chrome rally wheels wrapped in almost new BFG radial tires. Overall, this car is a very solid tribute car done the right way that will serve the new owner well. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a super clean 1974 Grand Prix Model J. There is a class of vehicle which is becoming more and more difficult to find: original and unrestored. With the popularity of resto-mods, or complete frame off restorations, there are fewer and fewer survivors out there. This particular 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix is an unrestored car with 54,986 original miles. The engine and trans are original and believed to have never been out of the car. It has the 400 CID V8 and an automatic which run and shift beautifully. The exterior is green which is in surprising great shape for the age of the vehicle. Needless to say, most mid 70s muscle cars have either been wrapped around trees or rusted to pieces. It great to see such a well-preserved piece of Pontiac history. Opening the door is like stepping back in time. The green upholstery is in wonderful condition as is the dash and steering wheel. This was a high line vehicle in the 70s, so it’s loaded with all the goodies: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, and even power windows! Whether you’re a Pontiac collector, or just entering the classic car hobby, this cream puff 1974 Grand Prix Model J would be a great addition to any collection. You can see this beauty in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or email@example.com with inquiries.
