1966 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 55557 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer one of the most famous muscle cars – The 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. One of the toughest little overachievers ever to harass traditional midsize muscle cars was the 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. Never a style leader, this compact car was for the serious enthusiast who wanted to go fast on a budget and still have a lightweight cruiser. These Nova's are the guerrilla fighters of the muscle jungle. A low profile and a high power-to-weight ratio is the secret. This Super Sport edition for sale has extra chrome, blackout trim details, and small SS emblems. However, the Nova SS by no means shouts "hot car." Hooked to an automatic turbo 350 and a 350 Chevy motor, this little deuce coupe has no problem catching the big-cube glamour boys sleeping at the lights. The Chevy Nova for sale still retains a stout power plant. Options on the lean, mean SS Nova include AM/FM/Cassette/CD Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires. This 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Tampa Showroom, located at 351 30th Street NE, Ruskin, FL 33570. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.

The extra-large aluminum radiator and dual electric fans keep everything cool and managed. This car will really get up and go. You will be able to take on anyone at the track. A very large set of Wilwood Pro series power disc brakes are sure to pull the beast to a stop in record time. 1966 Chevrolet Nova II

Engine: 350 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Auto
Mileage: 824 ( undocumented )

We have a fantastic 1966 Chevy II Nova here in our Milwaukee location. It features a slick black paint with black interior with bucket seats and a center console automatic shifter. It features a 350ci small block Chevrolet boasting a little over 500hp. This is a rare car made for power, no air conditioning or power steering. Turn the key and feel it rumble, the sound it gives off is amazing. 1966 Chevy IIs introduced an extensive sharp-edged restyle based in part on the Super Nova concept car. In general, proportions were squared up but dimensions and features changed little. Highlights included a bold grille and semi-fastback roofline. "Humped" fenders in an angular rear end were reminiscent of larger 1966 Chevrolets, though the 1966 Chevy II and Nova had vertical taillights and single headlights. The lineup again started with Chevy II 100 and Chevy II Nova 400 models. For just $159 (equal to $1,199.27 today) more than a Nova 400, buyers could choose a Nova Super Sport. Available only in a Sport Coupe, the Nova SS was top of the line. The 194 cu in (3.18 L) inline-six was standard on the Super Sport, but any Chevy II (excluding four-cylinder) engine could be coupled with the SS. The Nova SS was visually distinguished by wide rocker panels and a bright aluminum deck lid cove. It had bright SS emblems on the grille and in the ribbed rear panel, and Super Sport script on the quarter panels. Wheel covers were inherited from the 1965 Malibu SS. Strato-bucket front seats were included, but a tachometer cost extra. The ’66 Chevy II sales brochure clearly promoted the Super Sport as the “Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport,” but the name "Nova" was not used anywhere on the body. Front and rear emblems displayed "Chevy II SS. In 1967, Chevy II was still the name of the vehicle, but the Nova SS option package replaced all Chevy II badging with Nova SS badging. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1966 Chevy II Nova in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

This 1969 Nova Super Sport is a factory correct, packing a 396 that is backed by a four speed manual transmission and 12 bolt axle housing a set of 3.55:1 gear set. So that’s the short story, but with a car like this, who wants to hear just the basics? Ok, so imagine you had a well taken care of 1969 Nova SS. Now even though it is has been loved and care for, it is getting a little tired and in need of “freshing up” just a bit after all it is 39 years old at this point and that is like 156 in car years! So you have to decide where to take it for the “facelift”, so take it to the shop on the corner who’s tool box consist of a hammer and a metric cresset wrench®? Or, a custom shop that knows classics and has the tools and knowledge to do the job right? No real choice. This Chevy II SS for sale went to the right shop and the results are amazing! Total rotisserie, every nut and bolt twisted, cleaned, rebuilt and reinstalled. Under the hood is the work horse 396 CID Big block Chevrolet V8 from the factory this engine pumped out 375 Horses. The transmission of choice here is a Muncie four speed manual transmission that is connected to the 12 bolt that divides the power equally to the rear tires that have the awesome task of planting the power to the pavement. But this car is not all muscle, the interior is clean and sharp and looking factory fresh. You will not find a Sun ® tach hosed clamped to the steering column, not in this car. The exterior is straight and clean with a fresh coat of Garnet red covering the classic curves that we remember so well from the seventies. 1963 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 CID V8 LS1
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Mileage: 2699 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in the Nashville Showroom is a 1963 Chevrolet Nova or Chevy II or little deuce coupe depending on where you grew up. This ’63 Chevy II for sale has the best of the old and the new working together to make something very special. A quick look and you would be certain that this is one clean, well painted sharp looking little deuce coupe but you would be somewhat wrong. The longer you look the more you will notice the latest technology. The big give away is the Dakota® digital dash and the 6-speed knob parked on top of the manual shift lever. Now once the hood is open all bets are off as the LS1 gleams and looks nothing like the little Chevy small block that would have been perched here. With less than 3,000 miles since Grimes twister engines performed their surgery on this LS1 giving it the rumble and stumble that makes me want to make it my ring tone. This LS is cranking out 451 Horses at the fly wheel, slightly more than the factory put under the hood in 1963 and by slightly, I mean about twice. Backing the LS1 is the Tremec® 6 speed manual transmission giving you total control of the RPM’s so you can explain to the Civic driver just what muscle is and then cruise down the highway at 70MPh getting about 25MPG’s. Once again, the best of old and new. There is so much more to tell you about this incredible 1963 Chevy II for sale so give us a call. Options for this 1963 Chevrolet Deuce for sale include AM/FM CD player, Power steering and Brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Anti-theft system, Racing wheels, Posi traction, and aluminum alloy wheels. Altogether, there has been a great investment in time and detail to make this classic girl a thing of beauty. In 1964 the Chevelle was originally Chevrolet's response to the demand for the smaller-sized car market, which had been successfully tapped into by American Motor's Rambler. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the Chevelle was based on a new A platform design, and became American's second best-selling car of its time. The 1972 Chevelles featured single-unit parking/side marker lights on their front fenders, outside of a revised twin-bar grille. Powered by a smooth running 454 CID and TH 350, this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is a great classic to invest in as something to show off, as well as to use as your frequent driver. If someone pulls up next to your and revs up their engine to taunt you into a drag race, just lock in your seat-belt, put out your cigarette, rev your 454 back at them, and take your time driving home, because speed thrills, but kills.
