Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1953 Chevy 3100. What happened to the days of dirt roads? What happened to the days of drive-in movies? What happened to the days of cruising the countryside with all of your friends loaded in the back of your truck? Well, those days may be long gone, but you can still experience and reminisce driving in this beautiful 1953 Chevrolet 3100. This gorgeous truck is a ground-up restoration, to truly reflect the fantastic styles created between the days of past and present. This truck is far from original which makes it a real work of art. Make sure you hold on tight because this 3100 has plenty of “get up and go.” Perched atop a Nova sub-frame, this slick pick-up is packing an Isley’s built Chevy 350 V8 4 bolt main. It does not stop there – mated to the small block is a TCI 350 transmission with a 2100 stall converter, and a Nova rear finishes off the drivetrain off this resto-mod. You can Hot Rod around town or cruise down the interstate at a relaxing 70 miles per hour. Braking in this beautiful truck will not be an issue either; disc brakes are located on all four corners of this truck. The paint is done in a beautiful blue finish, with painted running boards to match. As you follow down the line into the bed, it has been re-finished in stained wood paneling, lined with stainless steel runners. This truck is a multi-function vehicle since you can drive this to the car show and win some trophies, and drive to the store and get your groceries! Take a gander in the cabin, and you will quickly notice grey tone cloth interior that offsets the blue exterior graciously. The inside accessories sport Dakota Gauges which will help you monitor all the vitals of this 1953 Chevy 3100. The interior is tastefully done to make its participants comfortable, yet it still retains a classic simplistic feel. Everyone can take a Chevy 3100 and restore it to factory condition, but the real beauty of this truck comes from a vision. You must see a finished version before you start. How you execute the concept shows the genius behind the thought. This truck shows well and looks like a modern-day version of itself. Options include AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Cloth interior, Redial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this custom 1951 Chevrolet 3100. The 3100 began as part of Chevrolet’s Advance Design, Advance-Design was Chevy’s first major redesign after WWII. It was billed as a larger, stronger, and sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series. First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955, when the Task Force Series trucks replaced the aging Advance-Design model. This custom 3100 has even advanced the design further, combing the old/classic look with a lot of modern touches, making this vehicle an absolute joy to drive! Starting first with a Chevy-400 engine, which has been bored out to a 406, giving this vehicle plenty of HP to enjoy a cruise. This 3100 also has had Air ride suspension added, allowing you to adjust the height as needed during the cruise. On the inside, they’ve kept the classic look on the dash, while adding some upgrades to the stereo – including two ten-inch Merlon-subs and MTX speakers installed into the door. All this sits on a beautiful set of American Racing Wheels! This truck is going to be enjoyed & loved by a new owner very soon… will this be you? Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars Houston is the ultimate pickup. The legendary 1954 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window! This beautiful truck is powered by a 327 CID V8 engine mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission. Features include power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel and radial tires. The powerplant in this truck is more than enough to put a grin on your face. The inline 6 that used to come in these trucks was very low in power, especially when you are trying to keep up with modern day traffic. This engine is much better suited to this sort of vehicle. The upgraded brakes and power steering, combined with the Mustang II front suspension, really makes this a useable and easy to drive vehicle. You will notice the 4 barrel carburetor, headers and dual exhaust. This thing sounds amazing going down the road. The bed has been tastefully redone in wood and outfitted with Smoothie wheels. It’s not a show truck. But it is a fantastic driving 5 window for a fantastic price. Many of these trucks with the low powered inline 6 engine are selling for more. The exterior of the truck is finished in a gorgeous copper custom paint with grey/black interior. The 1954 3100 was a one-year body style and even more rare to find with such a unique build. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Engine: 216 CID Inline 6 CylinderTransmission: 3-Speed ManualMileage: 95,073 ( undocumented )
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a wonderfully restored 1952 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window Pickup. This old Chevy Pickup began its life as a farm truck. Back in those days you had to identify your truck with a company logo for hauling purposes, so this 52’ 3100 was emblazed with a family farm logo until it was restored. The two-year frame off restoration was completed in 1997 and the truck has traveled less than 100 miles since then. Used mostly for parades and short trips around a small Missouri town, this truck has seen a life of luxury in the last 20 years. It is believed to be a 2-owner truck and believed to have the original drivetrain still in place. The 216 CD inline six-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission were completely checked over, were still in very good working order, and were not rebuilt at the time of the restoration simply because they didn’t need to be. They sure don’t make’em like they used to. The red, single stage, exterior paint looks great, and shows that the restoration was a quality one. The interior still looks new, with little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 95,073, the actual mileage is unknown, and there are about 100 miles on the frame off restoration. Options for this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 include: Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, and Bias Ply Tires. Getting behind the wheel of this old farm truck and shifting gears via the 3-on-the-tree, takes you back to 1952, and a simpler time. This 52’ 5 Window could be used in many different forms, a local show truck, an advertisement piece for a small business, or just a nice cruiser on a lazy Sunday afternoon. To view this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Engine: 235 I6Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 31,545 ( actual )
Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. This former military vehicle is real piece of American history. Originally a US Army truck and previously owned by the city of Fitzgerald Georgia as a municipal vehicle. For 1957, many visual changes were made: The former egg-crate grille was changed to a more open-mouthed design, with eight bars holding an open trapezoid in the center, and a pair of wind splits appeared on the hood. Dished steering wheel, safety door locks and strikers, and a more rigidly mounted rear axle (using threaded spring shackles instead of the center-draw-bolt type used previously) were among the other improvements. This 57’ Chevy has been through thorough restoration around 2013. The exterior of the truck is in great condition and shows very well in Army Green. The body is straight & true, the body panel gaps are even. The bumpers, trim & glass are also in great condition and really pull the look of the truck together sitting on those steel wheels. This truck is powered by a 235 CID Inline 6 Cylinder that mates with a 4 Speed Manual transmission. The exterior and interior shows very well. To put it simply this truck has been well maintained and would make a great addition to any collection or the start of yours. Options include Hub Caps, Radial Tires, Vinyl Interior and the Numbers are Matching. Don’t miss your chance to own one of the most iconic trucks Chevrolet has ever produced and genuine piece of America. This is the one you want to own. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: Mileage: 10,000 ( since rebuilt )
Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Malibu SS convertible. The color combination is absolutely gorgeous with the Sienna Blue exterior and matching blue interior. 1964 was the first year for the first generation of a car that went on to become one of the most loved American classics of all time. The Malibu was basically the top of the line Chevelle and came in a number of body styles. You could get a four-door sedan, two-door sport coupe hardtop, convertible or a two-seat station wagon. This being the convertible, it is the most desirable of all. The interiors were more lavish than the basic cars. In 1964 the top performance option was a 300hp 327 CID V8 engine. This one has a 350 CID V8 with even more power. It is bolted to the 4-speed manual transmission to give you the best driver focused experience. You really feel connected to the car in this one. The Malibu used to be considered an awesome rear drive American muscle car. But if you go to the Chevrolet dealership in 2018 you will see the nameplate on a front drive economy car. Sometimes we questions the moves that GM make. But, don’t go and buy the new and boring one, buy this one! Features include seat belts, 4-speed, Posi-Traction and rally wheels. For even more information on this 1964 Chevrolet Malibu located in our Houston showroom come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the showroom at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com
