Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer in our Philadelphia showroom a 1998 Volkswagen Beetle. The VW Beetle was “The Car of The People”. This one is Red with Gray cloth interior. The original Beetle was produced from 1938-2003. In those 65 years of production, 21,529,464 "bugs" were made. The last couple decades the Beetle was manufactured in Puebla Mexico, where it is commonly referred to as the "Vochito." This one has a Virginia Title. With just over 25,000 miles (being sold as not actual because it was EXEMPT on the title) on the 1600cc air cooled engine this VW runs as smooth as it should. If you ever owned a Beetle, and who hasn’t, it takes about 30 seconds to travel back in time to those familiar surroundings. This modernized version of the 1.6 liter power plant features fuel injection and electronic ignition. It is backed by a 4 speed manual transmission. Other options include: AM/FM/Cassette, hub caps, seat belts, cloth interior, and radial tires (new). After WW2 the plans and rights to build the Beetle were offered to Allied countries as war reparations, but none accepted. Generations later the Beetle finally came to an end. Don't make a similar mistake To view this 1998 VW Beetle in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

Engine: LS1
Transmission: 4L60E
Mileage: 157 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Tampa showroom is one of the most iconic cars of all time, a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. This breathtaking 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air has been restomoded to bring the best of the past and the present together. Inside the beautiful engine bay of this Bel Air is an LS1 engine that is connected to a 4L60 Transmission. The LS1 is cooled by an aluminum Griffin radiator and breathes though a short ram air intake. All of that LS power is no good without the ability to tame it, so this Bel Air stops quickly using hydroboost power wildwood disk brakes in all four corners. Power steering helps you be able to turn the wheel with nothing more but a finger. The exterior has been laid down in a beautiful two-tone orange and light cream color. You can really tell the time was taken while this automobile was painted. 18 inch Foose wheels fit over the massive brakes and wrap the whole exterior into one amazing package. The undercarriage is in the same clean shape as the exterior. Once you look inside you will notice the newly covered seats, carpet, headliner and gauges. New paint adorns the steering wheel and dash. The retro sound stereo will keep the tunes pumping while you cruise this beauty to any destination. For those of you in hot climates don’t fret as this 55 Bel Air comes with air conditioning. This iconic vehicle has aged like a fine wine and is a piece of classical automotive art with the heartbeat and reliably of a modern engine. You don’t want to miss it. 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302

1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302

Engine: Boss 302 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 24,991 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this all original 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Camaro/Mustang rivalry had begun in 1967 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The Camaro was the largest threat to the lead Ford had in the "pony car" field, a market segment largely created by Ford with the introduction of the Mustang in mid-year 1964. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. To improve the Mustang's image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. This 1970 Boss 302 is a numbers’ matching 302 CID V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission with Hurst Shifter and POSI rear with 3:91 gears. With just under 25,000 miles documented with no known wrecks or panel replacement, Options include: Boss 302 Engine, 4 Speed with factory Hurst Shifter, shaker assembly, front and rear spoilers, rear window slats, high back seats, AM radio, console, 15" Magnum wheels, Interior: Original seat covers, carpet, dash pad, door panels, original paint still in door jambs and trunk. Exterior: Excellent condition, repainted once (around 1974), all original sheet metal, straight nice body, paint still looks great, original floor panels which had rust-preventing under-coat that has recently been removed to show original primer with drips and factory seam sealer, Engine Compartment: Original engine rebuilt (around 1987). Engine sounds and runs strong like a Boss should! Correct: radiator, carburetor, distributor, shaker, intake, no missing or made-up non-original parts that need to be sourced. New exhaust installed (3/2018). Dyno Tuned (8/2008), ALL ORIGINAL PARTS including Smog Pump - Rebuilt, Water Pump - Rebuilt, Brake Booster - Rebuilt, Fan Shroud, Distributor, Rev-Limiter ( Not in Use), Radiator - Rebuilt, Timing Cover, Master Cylinder - Rebuilt, Starter - Rebuilt, Exhaust Manifolds, Distributor Vacuum, Rear Leaf Springs, History: (4) Owners to present, car has been shown locally, featured in Mustang monthly (August 1991), This is a rare opportunity to buy a well optioned Boss 302 with documented low miles, no wrecks, no rust, ready to show or drive that look as if it came right off the showroom floor. 1966 Ford Shelby GT 350H

1966 Ford Shelby GT 350H

Engine: 289 Hi Po
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 54,817 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this superb 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H. Production of GT-350’s began in 1965 at Shelby American in airplane hangers at Los Angeles Airport. To gain greater recognition and increased sales, in 1966 Shelby collaborated with The Hertz Corporation to produce 999 Shelby’s for the Hertz Sports Car Rental Club. Theses GT-350H’s- along with other high-performance cars- rented for $19.95 daily. Shelby/Hertz cars were not produced again until 2006 and 2016. This Shelby GT-350H (VIN # SFM6s-976) is 1 of only 60 produced in Red. It originally shipped to Marshall Motor Company in Mayfield Heights, Ohio in February 1966 for the ultimate delivery to the Hertz Corporation location in Cleveland Ohio. It was equipped with Hertz Club Special Wheels, radio and brake booster at a total cost of $3793.84. With 54,333 presumed original miles and Shelby Registry documentation (pages 755 and 487), it comprises original, date code correct and NOS mechanics, engine, interior and body parts. Most recently, during 2012-2014 it underwent a $30,000 refresh by renowned Shelby experts to upgrade a significant number of cosmetic and mechanical items necessary for concours Shelby and Mustang Club judging. The car retains mostly original sheet metal, has the original and rare framed fiberglass hood and functional side scoops. The black interior is all original except the carpeting and headliner and is in excellent condition. The 289 Hi-Po 306 horsepower engine is original and is coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission (95% of Hertz cars were equipped with automatic transmissions). The detailed engine compartment maintains the original factory look down to the overspray on the firewall and messy looking black caulking where the inner and outer front seems come together. This Shelby has won awards at National and local MCA events. Authentic, original Hertz cars in this color combo and condition with proper documentation are becoming increasingly hard to find. Included is a copy of the Shelby Registry, Shelby Registry serial number Verification Letter, copies of original Bill of Sale, Transmittal Letter to Hertz, Shipping Documentation, Radio Installation Record, prior owner Title, GT-350 and 1966 Ford Owners manuals. This 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
