1988 Ford Mustang GT

Engine: 5.0L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 5M w/OD
Mileage: 79470 ( undocumented )

We have a 1988 Mustang GT in stock at our PHILLY STORE. In August 1986, the Mustang received a facelift for the 1987 model year on both the interior and exterior. The front end was restyled to look more like the SVO which gave the car more of an "Aero" look, in keeping with Ford's overall modern styling direction. The interior received an all new dash, center console and revised seat and door trim. With the SVO discontinued, models were now pared down to LX and GT. Taillights on the GT now wore specific body-colored triple louvered lenses. The quarter glass windows lost their louvers and now sported a single larger flush piece of glass lettered with "Mustang" at the bottom rear corners. GTs featured new round fog lamps and gained aerodynamic lower bodyside skirting and new turbine style 15-inch (380 mm) wheels. This is an original Mustang in excellent condition. It has been maintained very well and recently refurbished with a new headliner, radiator, starter, AC hoses and valve cover gaskets. This is one of only 3747 1988 Mustangs produced with T-Tops. The exterior is Black, and the interior is Medium Gray Cloth with Articulated sports seats. The engine is the 5.0 Liter that was made famous in the Mustang. It is backed up by a 5 speed transmission and a Traction Loc rear. This 1988 Mustang also has AM FM premium sound, Speed control, rear defroster and illuminated vanity mirrors. 1988 Ford Mustang LX Saleen

Engine: 5.0L V8 FI OHV
Transmission: 5M w/OD
Mileage: 77408 ( undocumented )

Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1988 Saleen Ford Mustang. This is a beautiful example of a clean car fax Saleen to bring back all the memories of this motor sporting legend. In 1988 Saleen Mustang Saleen Mustang saw minor changes from 1987; Monroe shock absorbers, Pioneer sound system, and a Saleen 170 speedo/tach. The radar detector was no longer standard equipment. All Saleens were converted from hatchback LX, coupe LX, or convertible LX Mustang models. They all had factory 5.0L V8 engines, five-speed manual transmission, 3.08 or 3.55 rear, and 225/60VR-15 tires. “Mustang on steroids” is one term that comes to mind when collectors think of the Ford coupes, hatchbacks and convertibles modified and massaged by former race driver Steve Saleen going back to 1983. His early creations began their lives as base Ford Mustang LX models (known internally as the “Fox platform”) delivered from the company’s Dearborn, Michigan plant with the big 302-cubic-inch V-8 engine and a few other options. They were shipped to Saleen’s California facility and given special suspensions and other performance upgrades, new body parts to enhance air flow and distinctive exteriors and interiors to make it absolutely clear you weren’t driving an ordinary Mustang. Options include: AC, Cassette Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, cloth interior, seat belts, radial tires, aluminum wheels, tilt wheel. 1986 Ford Mustang GT

Engine: 5.0L V8 FI OHV
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 74400 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1986 Ford Mustang GT. If you are a car fanatic, then you can recognize the sound of a 5.0 bellowing out it’s tune as it runs hard down the street. This one has the symphony of that sweet V-8 tune in abundance. The 5-speed mated to one of the best modern American engines lets you row through the gears and enjoy what the road has to offer. This is clean car fax mustang with refreshed paint and Cobra rims. The Mustang doesn't feel like a Detroit heavyweight. Its dimensions are spare. It has balance. The wind noise is subdued. The ride is disciplined—maybe a little on the choppy side in its vertical motions over some rough stuff but not muscle-car harsh by any means. The steering knows where straight ahead is. The rear axle is sufficient¬ly stabilized that it doesn't launch you in surprising directions. And the car has legs. Long legs. There's always a longer gear when you need it. The Mustang GT is the kind of car that's never out of its element. You bring on the challenges. It can cope. Options include: Power steering, power brakes, anti-lock brakes, cloth interior, seat belts, radial tires, and alloy chrome wheels, am/fm radio. 1950 Ford Woody

Engine: 351 Windsor V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 80875 ( undocumented )

A great deal of time, money, and effort has gone into making this old Ford Woody the perfect cruiser! After the second (current) owner purchased the car back in February of 1988 it was driven for a few years before it underwent a restoration of the wood panels on the car in 1994. Taking over a year to complete by a professional, the woodwork has held up nicely and, to this day it still looks great! Under the hood sits a 351 cubic inch Windsor V8 with only 2,500 miles put on since the professional rebuild by a reputable racing shop. The front suspension was replaced with Mustang II components providing a much nicer ride and premium control. As you slide into the interior that was reupholstered back in 2005, you will feel as if you were transported to a different era. A time in history where it was deemed “okay” to make most of the panels out of wood! Fire up that big V8, drop the transmission into drive, and start to cruise! You can almost hear the “Endless Summer” album by The Beach Boys, playing from the aftermarket stereo. The ride quality is very comfortable and feels safe even at higher speeds. The rack and pinion steering is smooth and much more precise than stock, and the disc brakes will stop you quickly. Everywhere you go, this old Ford is sure to turn heads and be a crowd pleaser! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1950 Ford Woody in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
