The Ford Fairlane was a favorite of Henry Ford. The name came from his estate outside Dearborn Michigan. It was known as Fair Lane. Just like his mansion it was the top of the Ford lineup. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Minor trim changes were introduced for 1967 as the Fairlane was mildly facelifted. This one is a four door. It is Turquoise Frost with matching interior. In 1967 the 289 CID small-block became the base V8. It is also equipped with an automatic transmission The 1967 Fairlanes also included a number of federal government-mandated safety features, including a new energy-absorbing steering column with a large padded steering wheel hub, soft interior trim, four-way hazard flashers, a dual-chamber braking system, and shoulder belt anchors. This car will take you back to the 60s in a flash. This is a clean, cool old car that will be a blast to drive around in. The quiet running engine and smooth shifting transmission are ready to provide years of service. To view this 1967 Ford Fairlane. in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this quintessential example of a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe! The Ford Mustang was introduced unto the world on April 17th, 1964. The Mustang, conceptualized from the already popular Ford Falcon, provided the American working-class with a chance to own a modest sports car with a modest price tag, all without sacrificing overall enjoyment or amenities. Shortly after beginning production in mid-1964, the Mustang underwent extreme body modifications every couple of years, the first small tweak is seen here with this 1967. The 1967 and 1968 models were elongated by a few inches, with modifications to the car taking place in the front nose, as well as the sharpening of the body lines along the sides, while the rear taillight panel would now present itself with an indention, rather than a protrusion. Smaller, underpowered 8 cylinder motors were now offered with larger displacement than the first two production years, as well as more horsepower, and more amenities (such as back up lights). Upon decoding the VIN and datacode plate, we find that this particular C-Code 1967 (original 289cid v8 2bbl) was birthed in the San Jose plant before being shipped to Seattle for sale. An additional comfort that we find in this decoding of the Mustang is that this 1967 was Candy Apple Red from the factory, as well as adorned with black buckets, making her trim-code matching and very period-correct. Engine: 390 V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 16,128 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1967 Mustang Hardtop for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1967 Mustang is a true S code car with a 390 cubic inch V8 and 4 speed transmission with 16,128 miles since restoration. The included Marti report indicates that this car was built at San Diego on 11/11/1966. The window sticker, also with the car, includes the GT equipment group, limited-slip differential, courtesy light group, console, deluxe steering wheel, power steering, Selectaire conditioner, AM radio and tinted glass. The following is from an article on Hagerty.com: “Frequently overlooked by the scrum chasing mighty Cobra Jets and K-Code 289s is the 390-cid S-Code Mustang, produced with little fanfare in 1967-69. That relative lack of collectors’ attention may well make S-Code Mustangs the market’s unsung hero. Although the 390-inch V-8 is roughly 165 pounds heavier than the thin-wall 289, its good breathing produced impressive output: up to 325 horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque. That’s within spitting distance of the 428 Cobra Jet’s 335 hp and 440 lb-ft (spitting distance being 3.7 percent fewer horses and 3.0 percent less torque, assuming Ford’s rating methods for both engines were consistent). Their low profile in the market has resulted in values that are steady, less subject to whims of fad and fashion. The 390 was based on the FE-series V-8s introduced in 1958 for Thunderbirds and Edsels. The FE-series persisted well into the 1970s, installed in everything from pickups to Cammer-powered drag cars and Le Mans-winning GT40s. It began flexing its muscle in the redesigned 1967 Mustang’s wider engine compartment.” To view this beautiful 1967 Mustang, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body was enlarged, while keeping the same wheelbase, allowing for big block engine offerings, front and rear end styling was more pronounced and aggressive, and instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission.
