1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO Tribute

Engine: 427 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 2 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute. Over the years, COPO has become synonymous with Chevy’s monster-displacement Camaros. It’s a term that is still used today by Chevrolet for the purpose-built drag racing Camaros, which are released year after year, just 69 units at a time. But what does COPO really mean? An acronym for “Central Office Production Order,” COPO was the method used by dealers in the know who could use it to order options, or a combination of options, that weren’t specifically listed on the order forms. The most famous use was when dealers used the COPO system to circumvent GM’s 400-cu-in limit on anything that wasn’t a full-size car or a Corvette. If you knew what dealers to go to and who to talk to, you could have used the COPO system to order a factory installed 427 in a 1969 Camaro or Chevelle. This COPO Tribute was done up in fresh Yellow paint with black interior. The engine is a 454 block with 427 internals, that is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. This combo packs the punch you expect from big block in a small bodied car! To view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 53144 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro! What powers this one? A bad to the bone 383 CID V8 stroker engine mated to a smooth and easy driving 4-speed automatic transmission. This one is finished in an excellent red color with white touches and features a red interior. One of the worst parts about classic cars is the heat. Many older cars never had air conditioning. This is a Texas car which means it is probably one of the most valuable additions a driver here could ask for. This one has A/C to keep you cool on those hot days! It also features all aluminum heads for better flow into the engine and a roller cam for increased power and efficiency. The car has a 3500-stall converter which will help getting this monster off the line when you’re staged at the red lights on Friday night! Included with this Camaro is an air suspension system which improves ride quality, comfort and the overall appearance of the car. This car features an AM/FM radio and CD player so you can listen to your favorite tunes as you drive around in your fine piece of American automotive history. The first-generation Camaro appeared in dealerships in 1966 for 1967 model year. A brand-new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform was created as a 2-door, 2+2, hardtop or convertible, with the choice of a straight 6 or a mighty V8 powerplant. Almost all 1967-1969 Camaros were built in the two U.S. assembly plants in Norwood Ohio and Van Nuys California. There were also five non-U.S. Camaro assembly plants in countries that required local assembly and content. These plants were located in the Philippines, Belgium, Switzerland, Venezuela and Peru. In 1969 the Camaro carried over the previous year’s drivetrain and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a much sportier look. The grille featured a heavy “V” can’t and deeply inset headlights. The Camaro go new door skins, rear quarter panels and rear valance panel which gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The 1969 model year was exceptionally long, extending into November 1969, due to manufacturing problem that delayed the introduction of the second-generation model planned for 1970. It is a popular myth late-'69 Camaros were sold as 1970 models (due to GM publicity pictures of the '69 Camaro labeled as a 1970), but they were all assigned 1969 VIN codes. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Houston Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LSX

Engine: 6.0L Fuel Injected LS2 V8
Transmission: Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1260 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this knockout restomod 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. A little over 3 years ago, this car was pulled from a barn and became the subject of a full frame off restoration and modification, with a major emphasis on the modification. The most obvious modifications are the custom wide body kit that allows this 2nd Gen Camaro to tuck 335 cross section tires out back, and 315s up front wrapped around custom E/T wheels. Of course, big sticky tires are only as good as the suspension holding everything else in place. That is why there is Detroit Speed suspension in the front and back to hold everything else in place. To handle bringing things to a quick halt, we have a full Willwood brake system, including 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brake calipers. You are going to need those brakes too, as this car’s real party trick lies under the carbon fiber hood. There you will find a fire spitting 6.0L LS motor that has been stroked with new rods and pistons, dart heads, and dyno tuned to make 427hp and 427 lb-ft. of torque. Those massive tires are starting to make some more sense. Backing up that fuel injected beast is a Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed manual, spinning 390 Truetrac gears in a Ford 9” rear end. Inside, you could call this car a mullet, as it is all business in the front, with the party coming from two 10” kicker subwoofers in a custom enclosure that has replaced the rear seat. Upfront is all business, with Cipher race bucket seats and 4 point harnesses, as well as a half cage painted to match. Other great little touches include a carbon fiber spoiler and trunk lid, kindigit door handles, A/C, power steering, and keyless ignition. Get yourself in this Camaro and go! 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4- Speed Manual
Mileage: 50912 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is excited to offer this rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z10 Pace Car Coupe! First, some history of the Z10, as excerpted from Chapter 12 of "The 1969 Camaro Reference Book" by John R. Hooper. PACE CAR HARDTOP - THE Z10 COUPE "Since 1969, the controversy over a Pace Car hardtop has existed. For many years, hobbyists and other so-called experts had different opinions on the existence of these cars. Finally, after many years the truth has come out. Yes, the Z10 Camaro does exist. It is thanks to the many Camaro clubs and enthusiasts whose efforts have brought the facts about these cars to light. The basic Z10 package has Rally Sport and Super Sport equipment, code 50-50 paint, cowl induction hood, and 396 or 350 cubic inch V8 engine. The transmission combinations from the automatic to the four-speeds were the same as the Pace Car convertibles. Most of the Z10 cars had factory air conditioning. Any option that was available for the Z11 Pace Car convertible was also available on the Z10. Different interiors used on the hardtop version consisted of 711 black standard, 712 black custom, 713 black houndstooth, 727 ivory standard, and 729 ivory houndstooth. It is rumored that interior 720 orange houndstooth could also be ordered. Some of the options used were rosewood steering wheel, tilt steering column, fold down rear seat, a factory 3-speed transmission with console on the floor, vinyl roof cover, among others. The Z10 cars were a Southwestern Regional promotional car offered to a small number of dealerships in the Southwestern Branch Zone Office during Indy race time. We know now that they were available in Texas, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Arizona, and possibly other states. We may never know exactly how many were built, however we believe it to be between 200 and 300 built at Norwood. There were no records kept at Chevrolet Motor Division's offices. Since this was a one-time promotion, the customer did not have a chance to order the car but had to buy it off the dealer's lot. The Z10's appear to have been built between 04C (third week of April) to 05A (first of May) -- possibly longer...While these cars do not compare in rarity with COPO or ZL-1 cars, they still hold a place 1969 Camaro history." Now - about the one we have: like all Z10 Camaros, it is wearing a glistening coat of Dover white, with contrasting Hugger Orange stripes. This one shows a date code of 05A, designating a build date of the 1st week of May, 1969. Under the hood is a 350 CID V8 (300HP), one of the two available engine options for the Z10. The mighty mouse is mated to a smooth shifting Muncie 4 speed manual, which sends the twist to the 12 bolt rear end. Twist the ignition key, and it fires right up into a nice rich burble, sound aided by the addition of some Hooker Competition headers that funnel the exhaust into a well-executed dual exhaust with FloMaster mufflers. Ease it into first, and mash the gas, and you'll remember why you loved these cars so much! While you're cruising, flick on the A/C to keep cool - the system has been upgraded with a new R134 compressor, so it's easily serviceable by any shop. When it's time to get the speed down from the quickly-reached triple digit territory, the front discs are up to the task. Inside, you'll see that the rich black interior looks almost new, with its synthetic leather seating and carpet virtually devoid of any signes of use. The addition of an Autogage cluster by AutoMeter helps the driver keep tabs on critical operating conditions, and the Sunpro Supertach II tach aids in hitting those shift points. Why not own one of these rare pieces of history, before they're all gone?! Options on this rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z10 include A/C, AM Radio, 711 Trim Code Black Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Rallye Wheels with beauty rings, and Seat Belts. 1970 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 406 CID V8
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 298 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this highly modified 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. In 1967 we saw the introduction of the Camaro, Chevy’s answer to the Ford Mustang. Just three years into production Chevrolet brought us a total redesign of the car, ushering in the infamous split bumper design. The car on offer is far from what it was when it came from the factory. This is a purpose built road/track car. Underneath this eye popping Orange exterior you’ll find a multitude of performance upgrades since it was built in south Georgia around 8 years ago. Powering this beast is a built 406 Small Block Chevy engine mated to a T56 6-Speed Transmission. Performance modifications include AFR Cylinder heads, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Cam, Edelbrock Air gap intake, Demon 625 carburetor, and Professional Products Harmonic balancer. Making sure the transmission can handle all the added power a Mcleod billet Flywheel and hydraulic clutch were added; the transmission then connects to the custom Aluminum driveshaft sending power to the Strange Ford 9” with 4.11 gears. Helping the car make tight corners are BMR upper and lower front control arms, BMR rear torque arm and AFCO remote reservoir double adjustable shocks. The carbon fiber hood and deck lid from Anvil Auto make for an aggressive look contrasting against the bright Orange exterior. Adding to its menacing look are the staggered Black Formula 43 RAD S5 wheels measuring 18x9 upfront and 18x12 in the back. Inside the car you’ll find an original styled interior with custom tan leather bucket seats and a 4 point roll cage. You can listen to the radio cruising down the highway or roll down the windows to hear the roar of the Magnaflow exhaust as you blast around the racetrack. If you are looking for a unique car that you can drive to the track, set some nice lap times and drive home, then look no further. 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LTZ

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 5000 ( since rebuilt )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Louisville showroom is an awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT Z28. Most will agree that the '73 is the last of the greats for the Camaro as 1974 would see body changes and drops in horsepower. This beauty is painted in a great shade of Dark Green and has the matching green vinyl interior. The Green is the original color but was freshened up about 10 years ago with a Base coat/Clear coat system. Power comes from the original 350 small block that sends power to the original 4-speed manual transmission (as claimed by the owner) and back to a rear end housing 3.73 gears. The 350 has around 5000 miles on it since a professional rebuild was performed approximately 5 years ago. It sure looks solid and is ready for someone to take it to the next level or enjoy it as is and still be a very proud owner. The odometer shows 03300 and this Camaro is believed to be actual at 103300. It is marked as unknown mileage due to no supporting paperwork, however we can't imagine that this one has much than that. It is just too solid for that and wouldn't look nearly as nice as it does today. Options for this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT Z28 include; AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Factory Steel mag Wheels wrapped in raised White Letter Radial tires. 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: Muncie 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 91757 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS. Let’s answer the main question everyone is asking themselves. Is it a “REAL” SS? The answer is…Yes, this is absolutely a real ‘67 Nova SS car with a 118 VIN number Super Sport. This is one of the most sought after Nova’s made. The body style for this Nova was only a two-year run. 1967 marked the last year of the shoebox Nova style. In 1968, Chevrolet would turn to a more rounded slant back body style. This is the type of Muscle Car one dreams about. Does it get any better than a Marina Blue ‘67 SS car? No! The paint glistens even though it was restored back in 1987. The chrome gleams accenting the aggressive Nova look these cars are known for. Add in the fact that it has Crager S/S wheels all the way around the car, keeping it true to its lineage. When you look inside, you will notice how nice of condition the black deluxe interior is in. Sporting the bucket seats with the SS console your eyes are drawn to the 4-speed shifter. Yes, you read correctly, 4-speed. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission is the staple of any “true” muscle car. Also, located on the inside of this “Deuce Coupe” is A/C for those hot summer days cruising the town. Now to the most important part of any muscle car. What’s under the hood? What else would be under the hood other than a nicely built 327. Again, the same theme keeps popping up here; This is an authentic-real-true muscle car. The 327 is dressed and displays high performance upgrades, such as the Edlebrock Hi-rise and Holley carburetor. The snappy V8 motor with an attitude has camel hump heads and breathes through Flowmaster Exhaust. Options include AM/FM Radio with USB, A/C, Spare Tire, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Front Disc Brakes, Dual Mirrors, Tinted Glass, and a Cowl Hood.
