This 1969 Camaro is a true ss that has been transformed into a custom restomod built by THORNTON out of Telford Pennsylvania. This stunning ’69 stands out from other Camaros with its modern fuel injected engine, updated suspension, and smooth shifting new 4 speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet engineers made this production Performance LS3 6.2L Crate Engine to deliver a stunning 495 horsepower and 473 lb.-ft. of torque. This car is the dream mix of bad to the bone appearance with modern fuel injection modern technology. A major benefit of EFI systems is the greatly improved cold and hot starting performance. This follows from the ability of the system to calculate the optimum air/fuel mixture for starting as well as from the superior atomization that results from injection of the fuel as compared to fuel delivery from a carburetor. If you take a peak under the car you will notice that this car could be literally eaten off of. The HEDTS suspension for the front and rear are all new and set up to be a comfortable driver with coil over shocks. This Camaro SS is set up with a Ford 9” rear end and has amazing stopping power with its adjustable master cylinder and Corvette style disc brakes. This car rumbles with its duel exhaust in idle and has a pure performance feel when accelerating. The style of this car comes from the exterior with its beautiful dark red paint, white hockey stick stripes, and white SS badges. The aggressive stance comes from its deep dish offset 18” in the front and 20” in the rear custom wheel setup. Matching the white accents on the exterior, the interior has comfy white leather bucket seats. The modern feel follows to the inside of the car with its custom sound system and Bluetooth paring abilities. This car is a dream to drive with tons of extras like power steering, power brakes, power windows and locks, and even a tilt steering wheel. Whether you are a collector who wants to put mirrors on the ground and win trophies at shows across the nation or even someone who wants something to enjoy the drivability and put some miles on this beautiful machine, this ’69 SS is perfect for all hobbyists. Engine: 6.0L Fuel Injected LS2 V8Transmission: Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed ManualMileage: 1,260 ( since rebuilt )
For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this knockout restomod 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. A little over 3 years ago, this car was pulled from a barn and became the subject of a full frame off restoration and modification, with a major emphasis on the modification. The most obvious modifications are the custom wide body kit that allows this 2nd Gen Camaro to tuck 335 cross section tires out back, and 315s up front wrapped around custom E/T wheels. Of course, big sticky tires are only as good as the suspension holding everything else in place. That is why there is Detroit Speed suspension in the front and back to hold everything else in place. To handle bringing things to a quick halt, we have a full Willwood brake system, including 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brake calipers. You are going to need those brakes too, as this car’s real party trick lies under the carbon fiber hood. There you will find a fire spitting 6.0L LS motor that has been stroked with new rods and pistons, dart heads, and dyno tuned to make 427hp and 427 lb-ft. of torque. Those massive tires are starting to make some more sense. Backing up that fuel injected beast is a Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed manual, spinning 390 Truetrac gears in a Ford 9” rear end. Inside, you could call this car a mullet, as it is all business in the front, with the party coming from two 10” kicker subwoofers in a custom enclosure that has replaced the rear seat. Upfront is all business, with Cipher race bucket seats and 4 point harnesses, as well as a half cage painted to match. Other great little touches include a carbon fiber spoiler and trunk lid, kindigit door handles, A/C, power steering, and keyless ignition. Get yourself in this Camaro and go! When you lift the functional air breathing hood with reverse cowl scoop it reveals a beautifully detailed 337 cubic inch V8. Power is delivered by the code M20 4-Speed wide ratio transmission with Hurst shifter to the posi-traction rear axle housing a 3.55 ratio, and 9” Ford rear end. Performance is delivered to the Michelin tires mounted on Billet Specialties Dagger wheels. Inside this cool coupe is black and blue vinyl interior, you’ll find one of the most stylish cockpits of the muscle car era that has been painstakingly restored. You’ll enjoy the Vintage Air A/C and the AM/FM radio with CD player. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 to attack the Ford Mustang success. The first-generation lasted until this 1969 model year when it again paced the Indianapolis 500. For 1969, the Camaro had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. For Sale in our Detroit Showroom is an awesome 1972 Chevy Camaro. This well equipped Camaro is wrapped in Cream Yellow with Light Tan interior with high back buckets that provide amazing comfort. At first glance, this nostalgic second gen Camaro has a menacing stance and the stout 350cid V8 does a great job of moving this Camaro’s weight around. Under the hood is a L65 350cid V8 which pumps out some pretty impressive torque numbers. The TH350 transmission shifts great and the rear end has a very friendly 2.73:1 final drive ratio that allows you to regularly cruise this Camaro on the highway. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer one of the most iconic cars in the history of automobiles - a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS convertible for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. Painted a beautiful shade of Hugger Orange with a white manual convertible top, it'll give you many smiles per gallon. Pair that up with a black and white Houndstooth interior, and this is a color combination that's hard to beat. This car runs, drives, handles, steers, and stops like you'd want and expect it to, the only thing is the current owner does not have the paperwork to document this is originally a big block 4-spd model. He bought the car as seen here, and was never able to confirm that this was the powertrain it had from GM. If it was documented, you better believe the price would be a lot higher and the new owner probably wouldn't drive it for fear of damaging an investment-grade automobile. With this Camaro, you can go out and have fun with it, enjoying the torquey engine, shifting through the gears, and feeling the sun and wind in your face. It also cannot be documented that this is a real RS/SS model, but again, it is now and can be enjoyed as such. It's still "is what it is". It's an attractively priced first gen Camaro equipped just right at a fraction of the price of a documented car. Don't miss this iconic 1969 Chevy Camaro convertible for sale right now in our facility. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 7,000 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in our Houston showroom. Of special note, this is THE 1969 Camaro that Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove in the Goody's Headache Powders commercial, and comes with authentication (including Dale Jr.'s signature). One of the most iconic of the Pony Cars, the 1969 Camaro has developed a cult-like following. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 as Chevrolet's answer to combat the success of Ford's Mustang, which created a whole new vehicle segment, later dubbed "Pony Cars". For 1969, the Camaro received all-new sheet metal (except for the hood and trunk), which served to give the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant, and the headlights were given a new recessed position. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots were positioned ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. This styling is considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most desirable. This car is presented in its original LeMans Blue paint (as depicted on the cowl tag), along with performance white stripe accents. Under the hood lurks a high-compression full roller 350 CID V8, built by Conroes Choice Automotive. It sports a pair of Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and FAST EFI TBI Fuel Injection sits atop the Edelbrock hi-rise aluminum manifold. An MSD Digital 6AL ignition system helps boost the spark, while coated headers suction the exhaust gases into a 2.5" dual exhaust system, and the performance mufflers give it that throaty muscle car sound that enthusiasts crave. The hi-po 350 sends the power to the rear via a built 700R4 4-speed automatic, which twists the 3.90:1 gears in its 10-bolt Posi rear end. In the event you find yourself spending too much time in the throttle, savoring the high RPM howl this 350 makes, the two-piece slotted and drilled Wilwood rotors and their accompanying multipiston calipers up front will help you get back to legal digits quickly. Inside this cool coupe is an Ivory bucket seat interior (also noted on the cowl tag), which seems practically new, as does the black carpet. An Equus tri-gauge cluster above the console helps keep the driver informed about critical operating systems, as well. The console features a period correct "staple" shifter, with an updated gear indicator bezel, alluding to the 4-speed transmission (with "D-3-2-1" positions, rather than the "D-2-1" of a 3-speed auto). Additional features on this 1969 Camaro for sale include Vintage-style AM/FM Radio with Aux port, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Engine: 327 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed ManualMileage: 69,765 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Nashville Tn showroom is a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette! For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. A few suspension refinements were made. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Although transmission options remained ostensibly the same for 1964, the two Borg-Warner T-10 four-speeds gave way to a similar pair of gearboxes built at GM's Muncie, Indiana, transmission facility. Originally a Chevy design, it had an aluminum case like the Borg-Warner box but came with stronger synchronizers and wider ratios for better durability and drivability. With a 327 professionally built and installed this engine has a healthy sound and very healthy performance. Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia presents this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z. The IROC Z model of the Chevrolet Camaro first made its public appearance in 1985 as an add on option to the 1985 Camaro Z28 model. But its origin began long before that. IROC stands for International Race of Champions which is an automobile racing series like what NASCAR is. Started in 1974 with race prepared Porsches the series switched to Camaros in 1975. The Camaro continued as the car of choice for the IROC series until 1991. In 1985 Chevrolet licensed the IROC nameplate to use on production Camaros. The result was one of the most popular Camaros that Chevrolet had made in years. This Camaro is Red on the outside and is complemented by a black leather interior. The exterior is as it was on day one except for a set of chrome wheels that simulate the factory alloys. The 5.7 ltr V8 with tuned port injection performs very well and looks great under the hood. Equipped with Air Conditioning, AM FM stereo with CD, power brakes and steering, and power windows and locks this Camaro is a pleasure to drive. The IROC Z was at the time of its release the ultimate Camaro. They were then and still are very popular with Camaro enthusiasts.
