Finished in a beautiful dark blue metallic with Judge graphic side stripes, Enduro front bumper, rear spoiler, Ram Air hood (nonfunctional) a 8,000 rpm hood mounted tach that works and those great looking Honeycomb aluminum wheels.The engine in this GTO is worthy of the Judge name, it’s a professionally built 400 CID V8 cranking out some serious torque and horsepower. This Ram Air III 4 speed GTO Judge has a PHS sheet for you to verify it status. The window sticker has options for “The Judge”, Safe-T-track, radio P/B, STRG-WHL-C/S, Console, PWR, BRK-DISC, SPG, SHKS-R/H, 4 SPD TRANS, G70X14 WW FG, Mirror-Remot, Gauge-TA CL, PWR STRG-VAR, GLASS-S/R-WS. I will save the pain for the actual original cost of the vehicle. I would take a dozen. This 400ci Ram Air III 4-speed has a rebuilt engine, transmission, and OEM floors professionally done. Few muscle cars made a bolder visual statement than the 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. "The Judge" decals returned, multihued stripes appeared over the bodyside creases, and the 60-inch rear wing now stood high and proud on the tail. Some Judges also got a matte-black fiberglass chin spoiler. "The Judge," observed Road Test magazine, "is not for people who are shy about being looked at." But there was no shortage of substance here. Both 400-cid V-8s came with functional hood scoops, an under-dash knob that controls air flow. Pontiac made a rear sway bar standard and sharpened handling further with a beefier front bar, softer springs, and revised shock valving. The introduction of variable-ratio power steering also improved response. Transmission choices mirrored those of regular Goats: three-speed manual standard, four-speed and automatic optional, with four-speed Judges getting a Hurst T-handle shifter like this one. The GTO was the original muscle car, and the Judge was GTO at its most extroverted. Options include: Power steering, Power Brakes, Bias Ply tires, Aluminum Rims, Vinyl interior, Seat Belts, and AM/FM radio. We have a beautiful Gold hued 1970 Pontiac GTO here in our Milwaukee showroom. This GTO features a Tan interior and is numbers matching. In 1970 the GTO retained the Endura urethane cover around the headlamps and grille. The suspension was upgraded with the addition of a rear anti-roll bar, essentially the same bar as used on the Oldsmobile 442 and Buick Gran Sport. The front anti-roll bar was slightly stiffer. The result was a useful reduction in body lean in turns and a modest reduction of understeer. The base engine was unchanged for 1970, but the low-compression economy engine was deleted and the Ram Air III and Ram Air IV remained available, although the latter was now a special-order option.A new option was Pontiac's 455 HO engine (different from the round-port offerings of the 1971–72 cars), available now that GM had rescinded its earlier ban on intermediates with engines larger than 400. The 455, a long-stroke engine also available in the full-size Pontiac line as well as the Grand Prix, was dubiously rated by Pontiac as only moderately stronger than the base 350 HP 400 CID and less powerful than the 366 hp (273 kW) Ram Air III. The Pontiac brochure indicated the same 455 installed in the Grand Prix model was rated at 370 horsepower (280 kW). The camshafts used in the Ram Air III and the GTO 455 HO were the same. For example, the manual transmission 455 HO's used the same 288/302 duration cam as the Ram Air III. The 455 was rated at 360 hp (270 kW) at 4,300 rpm. Its advantage was torque: 500 lb·ft (678 N·m) at 2,700 rpm. A functional Ram Air scoop was available. Car and Driver tested a heavily optioned 455, with a four-speed transmission and 3.31 axle and recorded a quarter mile time of 15.0 seconds with a trap speed of 96.5 mph (155.3 km/h) . Car Life test car had the Turbo-Hydramatic 455 with a 3.55 rear differential, clocked 14.76 seconds at 95.94 mph (154.40 km/h), with identical 6.6 second 0–60 mph acceleration. Both were about 3 mph (4.8 km/h) slower than a Ram Air III 400 four-speed, although considerably less temperamental: the Ram Air engine idled roughly and was difficult to drive at low speeds. The smaller displacement engine recorded less than 9 mpg US (26 L/100 km; 11 mpg imp) of gasoline, compared to 10 mpg US (24 L/100 km; 12 mpg imp)-11 mpg US (21 L/100 km; 13 mpg imp) for the 455 This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. It is hard to find anything which has not been extremely well taken care or meticulously maintained. The current 13 year owner has made this car his passion and has many photos taken with Chip Foose with the car. The GTO sports all GM sheetmetal and the quarters have been replaced with vintage 70 GM metal by GraveRobbers. All body and paint has been completed Scott Blalock at Blalock Customs in Marietta Georgia. There are plenty of photos of the restoration and build. There is a PHS on this car ready for you to view. This rebuilt 400 with RAM Air III has the original rebuilt TH400 transmission with shift kit. There is no bones about it, this car hauls the mail. The $8,000 single stage plus clear coat cardinal red exterior and medium saddle interior makes this car a show stopper. If you are looking for a car that is top show ready, a bruiser on the street, and has a document build history this is the one you are looking for to put in your garage. How fast do you want to go is equivalent to how much money you have to spend. The GTO blends a little bit of both performance and comfort for the $$. Ask an automotive historian about the pinnacle year for muscle car performance, and 1970 is usually the answer. When GM lifted its cubic-inch limit for midsizes and compacts, Chevrolet, Buick, and Oldsmobile rushed out of the gates with a 454 and 455s that made the Class of 1970 the fastest ever. Pontiac, though, is the exception. While a 455 was introduced for the GTO, it wasn’t the fastest Goat. The 455 GTO was rated at 360 hp, competitive with similar engines in the industry, but Pontiac didn’t put much effort into making it the barnstormers that the LS6, Stage 1, and W-30 were. Two 400s—the Ram Air III and IV—made more horsepower. The 455 didn’t even receive the RA III/IV’s long-branch manifolds. This is an automotive Icon, own one today. Under the hood of this beauty is a 455 CID V8 that has been hopped up with a rebuild and fuel injection. This sweet powertrain also includes MSD electronic ignition. This engine pulls much harder than one would expect. With a proper set of tires, this car could even be a mean 1/4 mile racer. Sending the power to the rear end is a Muncie 22 four speed manual transmission that shifts correctly through the gears. Overall, this powertrain is bad*** and really gets the car going! Upon entering the car, the driver will be greeted by a clean black interior. This car does not have very many frills, but it is equipped with heat for those colder drives. This sweet ride does also have power steering and power brakes. Overall, the interior is in good condition with a few minor imperfections. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is is finished in copper colored paint and fitted with Judge trim pieces. The paint and trim are in decent condition with some flaws on the front end. Supporting each corner of the car are rally wheels wrapped in radial tires with decent tread life left. Overall, this car looks pretty good and drives even better! This car is fully documented with original bill of sale, original custom factory order RPO build sheet, original paint, all original customer ordered interior, original spare tire with jack, & with only 19950 original miles. This car is in pristine & excellent condition from bumper to bumper, you just do not come across cars like this every day. This sweet TA is outfitting with the true Pontiac 400 CID 4-barrel carburetor V8 from the factory. The well balanced & healthy V8 is strong throughout the power band. The engine bay is very clean and shows very little signs of wear on even the smallest of components. All of the wiring is very healthy and in excellent condition so electrical issues would not be a bother on this one. The (WX3) custom ordered shaker hood air cleaner is on firmly with all weather stripping in great shape. The barely broken in 400 is paired to a (M20) Muncie 4-speed manual transmission that shifts firmly but smoothly through each gear shifting both up & down through the gears. The transmission is linked to the Posi traction rear end that contains the custom ordered super duty 3.42 gear set in the rear differential. It also features the upgraded custom factory ordered (V01) heavy duty radiator to keep the car cool in all driving conditions. The exterior condition of the car is in excellent condition. The longtime owner has kept the car indoors in his private underground car basement the entire life of the car. It is rumored rain has never met this car. The beautiful Buccaneer Red paint is just as good as it was in 74’. Free from any dings, dents, scratches, or abrasions. The owner tells us that the color of the car deepens as the afternoon sunlight sets in. The bumpers, trim, emblems, light lenses, grill, spoilers, air ducts, & the original glass is in excellent condition. The underside of the front bumper does not even contain any scratches from being bottomed out like almost all long nose cars. It even has the custom factory ordered (75A) orange decal on the hood. It features the SD-455 decal on the hood as well but that is just to keep them guessing :) Stepping down to sit in the car you will first notice the custom ordered (D55) factory red interior that looks like it was just installed yesterday. It really pulls the looks of this car together. It features the factory ordered (U63) upgraded P/B radio with (U57) 8-track player that only a few select TA’s received. Every piece of the interior is in excellent shape from the fire red carpet, custom ordered console & dash, to the black vinyl seats, this one is the one to have. It also has a few nice features such as the old school CompuCruise engine management computer mounted to the center console that also has a VDO water temp gauge, the WORKING CB radio, the WORKING 8-track player, & even an altimeter in case you take off into the clouds from all power that 400 is putting down! For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge tribute. This black beauty started life as a 242 GTO with a 400 cubic inch engine and a 323 open rear end. But during her full frame off restoration in 2012 she received some major upgrades. The biggest upgrade she received was to her drivetrain. The built 455 cubic inch motor was bored to .60 over with a mild competition cam and hardened valves and seats. Stainless steel headers and brand new exhaust give the new engine a nice rumble. The new engine is paired up with a freshly built turbo 400 transmission mated to a Gearvendor overdrive adapter. That means you have a total a 6 gears to go through on your cruise instead of just 3. The suspension was beefed up to handle all the new power with Hotchkiss TVS suspension in the front and rear of the GTO. The builder didn’t stop at drivetrain upgrades, he went in to the interior and completely upgraded everything. The ice cold air conditioning will blast you out of the car in summer and if that doesn’t then the thumpin’ stereo sure will! Full premier Alpine component stereo system with 3 amplifiers, 10” subwoofer, 6 SPX-17 PRO speakers, cd player with aux inputs, and a remote control to help keep your eyes on the road. This beautiful example of a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA will not only have you floored in the visual department, but will exceed your performance expectations as well. A complete powertrain swap to a LQ4 6.0 V8 and 4L80E transmission from the boat-anchored 350 TPI she came with was performed by Larry’s Speed & Custom of Fort Worth approximately 3000 miles ago. No expense was spared in completing this build, and all necessary swap components were employed. Custom wiring harness, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Walboro 255 LPH fuel pump, Holley EFI fuel rails paired with an LS1 intake, billet coil brackets, LSSimple alternator kit, BMR adjustable torque arm, and BRP headers with muffler delete. Hawks motor mounts and a Blackheart transmission crossmember keep the new powertrain properly supported while you dust Vette-after-Vette. New calipers hugging drilled and slotted rotors insure a positive and pulse-free stop. Additionally, the interior was upgraded to a custom, yet tastefully-upgraded upholstery. We have a spectacular 1997 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6 for sale here in our Milwaukee location, it features a re paint and Dark grey interior. The engine is an LT-1 backed by a 6 speed transmission. This is a numbers matching vehicle. It has all the creature comforts from T tops, air conditioning, cruise control, power everything… etc… This is an amazing vehicle. The 1997 model year introduced standard air conditioning, daytime running lamps (utilizing the front turn signal lamps), digital odometers, and optional 500-watt Monsoon cassette or compact disc stereo systems to all Firebird trim levels. For V6 Firebirds, a W68 sport appearance package was also introduced as a counterpart to the Camaro RS trim level. The WS6 "Ram Air" performance package was now also an option for the Formula and Trans Am convertibles, although these convertibles did not receive the 17-inch wheel-and-tire combination.
