This 1969 Camaro is a true ss that has been transformed into a custom restomod built by THORNTON out of Telford Pennsylvania. This stunning ’69 stands out from other Camaros with its modern fuel injected engine, updated suspension, and smooth shifting new 4 speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet engineers made this production Performance LS3 6.2L Crate Engine to deliver a stunning 495 horsepower and 473 lb.-ft. of torque. This car is the dream mix of bad to the bone appearance with modern fuel injection modern technology. A major benefit of EFI systems is the greatly improved cold and hot starting performance. This follows from the ability of the system to calculate the optimum air/fuel mixture for starting as well as from the superior atomization that results from injection of the fuel as compared to fuel delivery from a carburetor.
If you take a peak under the car you will notice that this car could be literally eaten off of. The HEDTS suspension for the front and rear are all new and set up to be a comfortable driver with coil over shocks. This Camaro SS is set up with a Ford 9” rear end and has amazing stopping power with its adjustable master cylinder and Corvette style disc brakes. This car rumbles with its duel exhaust in idle and has a pure performance feel when accelerating. The style of this car comes from the exterior with its beautiful dark red paint, white hockey stick stripes, and white SS badges. The aggressive stance comes from its deep dish offset 18” in the front and 20” in the rear custom wheel setup. Matching the white accents on the exterior, the interior has comfy white leather bucket seats. The modern feel follows to the inside of the car with its custom sound system and Bluetooth paring abilities. This car is a dream to drive with tons of extras like power steering, power brakes, power windows and locks, and even a tilt steering wheel. Whether you are a collector who wants to put mirrors on the ground and win trophies at shows across the nation or even someone who wants something to enjoy the drivability and put some miles on this beautiful machine, this ’69 SS is perfect for all hobbyists.

Engine: 383 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 1,552 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this super clean 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale. Between the powerful engine and the sharp looking exterior, this car is sure to put a smile on your face. Under the hood of this beauty is a 383 CID stroker V8 that runs well thanks to the rebuild by Lumberton Garage less than 500 miles ago. Sending that small block power to the Eaton 3.55 rear end is a new Turbo 350 transmission. Overall, this car is absolutely stunning in the way it performs and drives. Upon entering the car, the driver will be greeted by a black faux ostrich skin/vinyl interior that is in good condition. This car is equipped to keep the driver comfortable all year round with A/C that blows cold and heat that blows hot. Continuing with driver comforts, this car is equipped with power steering and power brakes. If the driver ever tires of the sound of bald eagles escaping from the V8, the included AM/FM radio/CD player will surely come in handy. Overall the interior of this car is in good condition and fairly comfortable. The exterior of the car is finished in a bright orange paint that is in good condition and shows well. At the front of the car where "350" badges would be, there are "383" badges instead to represent that this small block is a stroker. Supporting each corner of the car are rally wheels that are wrapped in radial tires with decent tread life left in them. Overall, this is a solid car that needs a new owner to drive the snot out of it! Engine: 427 CID V8Transmission: 4 Speed Manual Mileage: 2 ( since rebuilt )
For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute. Over the years, COPO has become synonymous with Chevy’s monster-displacement Camaros. It’s a term that is still used today by Chevrolet for the purpose-built drag racing Camaros, which are released year after year, just 69 units at a time. But what does COPO really mean? An acronym for “Central Office Production Order,” COPO was the method used by dealers in the know who could use it to order options, or a combination of options, that weren’t specifically listed on the order forms. The most famous use was when dealers used the COPO system to circumvent GM’s 400-cu-in limit on anything that wasn’t a full-size car or a Corvette. If you knew what dealers to go to and who to talk to, you could have used the COPO system to order a factory installed 427 in a 1969 Camaro or Chevelle. This COPO Tribute was done up in fresh Yellow paint with black interior. The engine is a 454 block with 427 internals, that is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. This combo packs the punch you expect from big block in a small bodied car! Engine: 434 CID V8Transmission: 3 Speed AutomaticMileage: 703 ( since rebuilt )
The 1969 Camaro marked the last of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. It featured entirely new, more aggressive looking sheet metal and revised grille. Going away was the coke bottle shape, making room for a flatter, wider looking stance. The Camaro was available in many different configurations, from a standard Sport Coupe, a rubber melting Super Sport, or a track-ready Z/28. The SS was "The One with a Name Like the Hiss of a Snake." Big power, special 3-speed transmission, sport striping, heavy insulated hood. Hiding under the stock SS hood on this Hugger Orange beauty is a beast of a V8! Where a salty 350 once sat now resides a NEW 434 cubic inch Nye’s racing engine that starts out with a Dart little M block with all forged internals, solid roller comp cam #12-990-9. Topping off the power house is a set of AFR eliminator 220 cylinder heads that help bump the compression ratio to 13.1:1. Providing the spark needed is a DUI distributor that has been built specifically for this engine setup. Only 700 miles have been put on this engine so it has tons of life left and is just starting to come to life! No expense was spared on any aspect of the restoration of this car! Transferring the power to the rear of the car is the same 3-speed automatic that came in the car from the factory but the only part that hasn’t been upgraded is the exterior case of the transmission. The body and paint are excellent with an impressive panel fit. Making it truly a car that needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The black interior was definitely not overlooked during the restoration. When you are lucky enough sit behind the steering wheel you will notice the factory console gauges have been replaced with upgraded aftermarket gauges. The main reason for the upgrade is to have better accuracy while monitoring the vitals of the car. Helping get the power to the ground is the 12 bolt rear-end that houses a set of 4.10 gears. At all four corners there are Ralley wheels with new trim rings wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires. And last but not least this car comes with ALL of the original parts that have been upgraded or replaced during the restoration. This includes but is not limited to the numbers matching 350 V8, Air Conditioning setup, power steering as well as the 3.31 gears that were replaced wit the 4.10s. Engine: Inline 6Transmission: PowerGlide 2-Speed Automatic Mileage: 39,483 ( actual )
For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a low mile 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe. This 61’ Bel Air has been in the same family since it was bought new in 1961. It was parked in 1967 with 32,000 miles on the odometer. Over the next 18 years the car was driven just 4,000 miles, and in 1985 it was purchased by the current owner, the grandson of the original buyer. In the mid-80’s the Bel Air received a refreshed coat of paint on the bottom half of the car of the original Sea Mist Turquoise. Other than the respray, the car is original and maintains the survivor status. The vinyl interior features light and dark shades of green. The vinyl upholstery is original and not perfect but does show well considering its age of almost 60 years. The dash is no nonsense and to the point, it matches the color of the upholstery nicely. The original inline 6-cylinder engine still powers this old Bel Air and is mated to the original 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The odometer reads 39,423, which represents the actual mileage on the car! Options for this 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe include: Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and White Wall Radial Tires. This 61’ Bel Air would be a perfect candidate for a Pro Touring setup with a fuel injected V8 and modern transmission, or it would be just fine for someone to enjoy as it is and appreciate the survivor qualities it brings to the show. Engine: 6.2L V8 F OHV 16VTransmission: AutomaticMileage: 33,397 ( undocumented )
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette 3LT. This black over black coupe is a one owner with only 33,397 original miles. Power comes from the amazing LS3 all aluminum small block producing a staggering 430 horsepower and 424 lbs/ft of torque. This is the same power rating that the 1967-1969 infamous L-88 Corvette was rated. The L88 was the wildest thing that Chevy has ever produced. They were very difficult to drive, got terrible fuel economy and ran on racing fuel. 40 years later, we have the same horsepower rating on pump gas and fuel economy approaching 30 mpg. Truly amazing what GM can do with an old pushrod engine. This is an impressive sports car that can easily be driven every day. Equipment is plentiful and this one is optioned with the 3LT equipment group. With the 3LT ($4,205 option) you got the Bose premium sound system with 7 speakers, 1 year of XM Satellite radio, Heads up display, Power tilt/telescopic steering, heated and power seats with memory settings, Universal home remote, Luggage shade with cargo net and Bluetooth. Other options totaling $6,390 include Forged chrome aluminum wheels, Dual roof package (tinted and painted), 6 speed paddle shifted automatic transmission, Dual mode electronic exhaust (now fitted with button to open and close at discretion), 6 disc CD player upgrade and seat trim crossed flag embroidery on the headrest. All said and done, this beautiful Vette stickered at $60,475 (window sticker comes with sale). Being a one owner with just 33,xxx miles, this is a bargain! The original owner decided to protect this sweetie of a sports car and installed clear bra protection film over the front end, mirror caps and just forward of the rear wheels. He also installed a set of tasteful vinyl stripes over the hood, roof and rear decklid. Easily removed if one is not a fan, but they do look good!
