The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom of Saint Louis is trilled to offer this candy cane colored 1965 Chevrolet Corvette, which enjoyed a "frame-off" restoration back in 2000 that included a new interior upholstery and a new exterior paint job. This 1965 Corvette was built initially on December 4, 1964, restored thirty-six years later, and today the exterior still shines exceptionally well, and the interior does not look like anyone ever sat in them and ate a Big Mac. In truth, the interior and exterior color combination and condition of this classic Corvette is the reason you strongly consider buying it. The quality of its condition is not so prestine that you'll win any big city car shows or don't feel confortable parking it, while you run in the Walmart, but it is nice enough to turn every head that you pass by and feel extremely proud to own it. No investment needed here. This beauty is plug & go! Ready to buy and drive from day one! We'll help you with shipping, but you may want to go ahead and drive this one home and down Old Route 66. Underneath the hood is a well-maintained, strong accelerating and smooth idling 327 that is backed by a four-speed manual transmission that won't disappoint. Engine: 327/350 Horsepower V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 3,922 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a beautifully restored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This Sunfire Yellow roadster is powered by the numbers matching 327 350 HP engine and matched with a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission and back to a 3.55 rear gear with Posi Traction. The sound emitting from the side exhaust is intoxicating. The hardest part about driving this car is when you stop driving! It drives so well, sounds so good and looks amazing! The frame off restoration was completed in 2006 but has covered a very modest 3,922 miles since completion. Thanks to a very proud owner, the car has been very well cared for over the years and still looks very fresh. Complimenting the Sunfire Yellow paint is a Black soft top, Black vinyl interior and a set of American Racing Wheels wrapped in radial rubber. Power four wheel disc brakes offer confident braking and Power steering makes maneuvering an ease. The 350 horse 327 may be the best all round engine for '67. Great power with no solid lifters to adjust, no hot temperatures from a Big Block and a little less thirsty for fuel. The 3.55 gear ratio may also be the best all round gear ratio. You have good acceleration from a standstill and decent highway cruising. The Sunfire Yellow may not be the most common color, but sure is a breath of fresh air from all the red ones out there. And this is the original color for this Corvette. We can't tell you enough about how well this one drives. My co-workers literally had to drag me out of it! I would've been tickled pink to drive this beautiful Corvette all day long. For more information on this 1967 Corvette, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom for an up close viewing. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind Jeff Hayes' built 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. Here are just a few of the custom-build's goodies: Custom Jeff Hayes build completed in 2017 by American Speed Shop in Bloomington Indiana New GMPP 376/525 Crate LS3 V-8 engine Electronic fuel injection Stainless shorty headers Side exit exhaust 5-speed automatic transmission Polished serpentine system including air conditioning, power steering and alternator Professionally fabricated chassis with C5 front and C6 rear suspension C6 Z06 Dana 44 3rd member Z06 power disc brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers Drilled and slotted rotors Vintage Air Power windows and hood lift Retro-look AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth New Auto Meter gauges Silver Pearl paint with Graphite Metallic stinger Custom Red distressed leather interior with Red carpet Billet grille Carbon fiber graphics 18 and 19 inch Spider alloy wheels Toyo Performance red-line tires American Speed Shop of Bloomington, Indiana, has executed a number of top-quality Corvette restorations and custom builds, and this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Resto Mod is no exception to that tradition. The ultimate development of Bill Mitchell and Zora Arkus-Duntov’s Sting Ray concept, the 1967 Corvette is a great choice for upgrading to modern powertrain, mechanicals and passenger accommodations. The final year of mid-year body styling was the least cluttered and arguably most attractive of all, one that seems to encourage builders to preserve its beauty and keep most, if not all, modifications under wraps. In this case the Sting Ray’s stock features are preserved, even to the point of using 1967 Silver Pearl paint and decorating the big-block hood with a contrasting black-Stinger accent. All the correct chrome and stainless trim has been preserved, including the classic Bowtie chromed driver’s mirror and factory-style side exhaust outlets. There is modern Corvette power under the power-actuated hood in the form of an all-aluminum GM Performance Parts LS3 V-8 engine. Rated at 430 HP in the 2008 to 2013 Corvette, this electronically fuel-injected powerplant has been tuned to crank a mighty 525 HP through a 5-speed automatic transmission to the C6 differential. A completely powder-coated, professionally fabricated custom steel-tube chassis enables the use of proven C6 front and C5 rear independent suspension with aluminum double wishbones (also powder-coated). This allows a wide choice of rolling stock; here it comprises chromed 18-inch front and 19-inch rear Aluminum wheels, shod with Toyo red-stripe tires, 275/35-19 rear and 235/40-18 front. Visible through the wheels are the red powder-coated 6-piston C6 Z06 calipers up front, and 4-piston rear Z06 binders out back, which clamp down on drilled and slotted rotors, guaranteeing rapid deceleration from hyperspeed. Inside, you'll see its spectacular distressed red leather interior, which features power windows, Vintage Air, custom red carpeting, Auto Meter gauges, bolstered seats, polished billet controls and a retro-look AM/FM radio with Bluetooth. Don’t let this Jeff Hayes-built '67 'Vette be the one that got away! Options include: Retro-style AM/FM Stereo Radio with Bluetooth, Chromed Aluminum Wheels, Custom Red Distressed Leather, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel.
