Other 1926 - 1930 Ford Model A

1930 Ford Model A

Engine: 406 CID V8
Transmission: 400 Turbo
Mileage: 800 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1930 Ford Coupe. The Model A has always been a popular vehicle to turn into a fire breathing street machine. Big engines and even bigger tires are iconic with these turning them into a totally different animal that Henry would be proud of. If you are looking to be subtle or fly under the radar this one is not for you. The Competition yellow paint is slick and is sure to catch the attention of any bystanders. The engine though is what will really pull them in. The 406 CI powerplant is shoved in there making big time HP. Put your foot into this thing and hang on as you are sure to be pinned into the seat. The built TH400 Transmission handles all that power nicely shifting out with no issues. Paired up with an 8 ¾ rear end this is one machine that was built to handle the stress. The 31x14 Goodyear slicks on the back are even bigger in person giving you plenty of rubber to lay down. A full cage has been tastefully done with it being tucked close to the interior panels giving it a very finished look. The two bucket seats look right at home and finish off the interior nicely. If you have been wanting to add a little excitement in your life this 30 Ford should do that and then some. Options on this 1930 Ford Coupe include, AM/FM Radio, Tilt Wheel, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Slicks, and Racing Wheels. This 1930 Ford Coupe is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1929 Ford Model A Coupe

Engine: 302 CID FI SBF
Transmission: Five Speed Manual
Mileage: 96 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this one-of-a-kind, pro-built 1929 Ford Model A coupe street rod for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This beautiful coupe has a ton of subtle (and not so subtle) body mods to separate it from all of the other A street rods seen all over at cruise nights and car shows. Here are some of them that will ensure you that if this is your car, you probably won't see another one like it... a steel sub-structure replaces all of the original wood, chopped and filled top, shaved door and trunk handles, a custom hood, molded-in front visor, shaved rain gutters, widened steel rear fenders, relocated fuel tank and filler door; all covered in a delicious shade of dark root beer metallic. Inside the tan leather interior (and matching finished trunk) you'll find a tilt column, power locks and windows, air conditioning, and a GPS-activated speedometer, so you'll always have an accurate speed reading. Under the hood is where this car really shines...a Boss 302 clone engine puts all of the horsepower into a Tremec five speed maual tranny into a 9" Ford rear axle housing 3.73 gearing. The TCI chassis is a huge improvement over what Henry had "back in the day" with its Mustang II style IFS set-up and four wheel disc brakes bring this little A down to zero in a flash. This street rod coupe is ready to go. All it needs is a new owner. Is that you? Don't miss this awesome 1929 Ford Model A coupe for sale right now in our facility. The owner nor Gateway Classic Cars is liable for any hearing damage that may occur while enjoying music of this aggressive hotrod. This Model A Roadster is so aggressively fast it will take you back in time to remind you how far we have come in automotive engineering. This beauty has a black exterior with some tastefully applied flames on the body in front of the windshield and a white canvas top. The interior is red which really pops against the black making for a sweet looking ride. I will personally be sad to see this car go once sold. The muscle machine has leather seats and custom wheels that are setup on radial tires. I have not told you the best part either. This crazy thing has a fully functioning parachute tied to the back so you can either take it down the drag strip or impress you friends and family, if you are willing to repack the parachute that is. 1929 Ford Model A

Engine: 331 Hemi V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1500 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” for sale in our Indianapolis Showroom. “Rat Rod” is: a semi-restored Hot Rod that is intentionally left with the appearance of being incomplete. The Rat Rod is created of the thought of awaking a (pre-WW II) vehicle from the dead and embracing its natural form of deterioration, rust and all, while the Hot Rod is immaculately restored and customized for high performance. Rat Rods grow old gracefully while Hot Rods go under expensive cosmetic procedures to appear like new. Rat Rods are daily drivers better left unwashed, while Hot Rods only come out to play in shows and require the high maintenance of wax and polish. This Model A Rat Rod has made it way from Arizona to Indiana. The frame is 1929 Model A, it has been boxed in critical areas for extra strength. The roof of the cab is from a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair. The front grill is from a 1947 Studebaker Grill. The dual Stromberg carburetors are dressed out with a 1958 Cadillac air cleaner. The Strombergs feed a 1953 331 CID Chrysler Hemi V8. No fancy chrome here, just an old set of stamped steel Chrysler Hemi valve covers with just the right amount of patina. Zoomy style headers take care of the exhaust fumes, check out the super kewl flappers that have been added. The body has been dressed with just the right amount of patina that can only come from years of being in the Arizona climate. If you ready to hit a “Beatersville” event and fit right in call us before this rusto-rod fly’s out of here. Options for this 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” include; No Radio with, Cloth/Steel Interior, Seat Belts and Steel Wheels wrapped in Bias Play Wide White Tires. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. The Ford Model T was extremely popular and helped to put America on the road and the millions that were sold meant there was no shortage of small roadster bodies available for customization ever since the 1920’s. 1967 Ford Galaxie 500

Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 85148 ( undocumented )

Available now in our DFW Showroom is this impressive 1967 Ford Galaxie! Period advertisements boasted that the Ford Galaxie 500 was quieter than a Rolls-Royce, which was their way of boasting about how well the engineers had done in isolating the new frame from the new body. The reasons for this were practical enough, it was the first year since 1956 that the Ford and Mercury full-sized cars again shared their essential architecture, basic frame and basic body structures (with variations), in a bid to increase profitability. The 1967 version of the Galaxie was reskinned, which produced new two-door hardtop/fastback rooflines. The LTD variant now shared the two-door roofline, but the rear side glass shape was altered for a more formal appearance, and technically speaking, LTD became a series of its own this year. This Ford Galaxie underwent a full restoration in 2008, at this time the motor was rebuilt along with the transmission too. The black and red interior, including matching dash, really stands out. Especially with the word “Galaxie” stitched on both the passenger and driver side bench seat and “Ford” in the backseat. It is also equipped with a set of Boston-acoustic speakers. Which can really help you hear the tunes as you’re flying around in this vehicle, windows down and wind in your hair. What is it that’s creating that wind? No folks, that’s not just a 390 decal on the side, that’s what this bad boy comes with, a rebuilt 390CID-315HP 4BBL, with a 4-speed manual transmission. No question, it was made to get you where you’re going in a hurry. Finally, all this is riding around on a quality set of American Racing Wheels.
