The biggest is the Ford 6.8-liter crate V-10 engine that is pushing out 392 HP with 457-foot pounds of Torque the Automatic transmission is a E40-OD-4 speed, and 9” rear with a 3.50 gear ratio, 4 link. With only 6950 miles on this build, there is no issue getting this Cabriolet moving. So, when it comes to stopping safely 11” disc brakes have been added. The suspension is IFS front, and coil overs front and rear. The car looks and sounds amazing with Custom built wire wheels by G. Mclean and an S.S exhaust system. The wheels are 195-70 R-14 Front and 285-70 R-15 in the rear which makes an aggressive stance. PPG awarded the Dream Catcher with its use of color and ghost graphics. Lovingly assembled and maintained, every receipt for this 3-window build was saved and documented during the process, guaranteeing the car’s value for years to come. This ’34 is rocking a powdercoated Pete & Jake’s chassis, pinched in the front, and bobbed in the rear to give this custom a truly sinister stance. A Redneck Street Rods ’34 fiberglass body sits upon the frame with a professional 5” channeling and a 2 5/8” chop. Redneck produces the finest bodies in the street rodding business, and is the go-to body for builders across the globe due to its superior manufacturing. The coupe is finished in DuPont Black Pearl with several coats of DuPont clear. Upon further inspection, you will find a very subtle Blue Pearl, Orange Pearl and Red Pearl ghost flame striking down the front of the hood. In respect to drivability, the coupe has been outfitted with Aldan coilovers on all four corners, Wilwood brakes, and a Currie Ford 9” rear end. The powerplant is hosted by a FUEL-INJECTED SBC 350 CID Edelbrock crate motor pushing 480hp to the crank, paired to a 4L60E Bowler transmission with a Lokar floor shifter and Inland Empire polished aluminum driveshaft. The customization continues with staggered 18” and 20” Colorado Customs wheels, Colorado Customs steering wheel, Classic gauges, pushbutton start, custom stereo/CD player, fully customized leather interior, and Vintage Air air conditioning. Professionally built with no expense sparred, this immaculate LS1 powered cabriolet has just over 1,000 miles on the build!It’s 1934, Near their hide-out in Black Lake, Louisiana, FBI men ambush bank robbers on May 23rd Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow and fire, killing them, The Loch Ness Monster is spotted on January 14th for the first time, and this cool Resto-Mod 1934 Ford Roadster rolls into showrooms for the first time. Since then this all steel 1934 Roadster has undergone a complete Resto-Mod. Including the LS1 motor and transmission, Vintage heat and A/C, independent front suspension, CD player, Rack and Pinion Power Steering, Power Brakes, disc brakes in the front, leather interior, rumble seat. The 1934 Ford (the Model 40B) was not as substantial a model year change as the previous two years had been. Noticeable changes included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo. The bare metal dash insert was replaced by painted steel. V 8 output was again increased, this time to 85 HP, and the four-cylinder Model B engine was in its last year, as was the Victoria body style; nevertheless, there were fourteen body options, the Tudor being top-seller. The standard three window coupe was deleted. Deluxes had pinstriping, again twin (chromed) horns, and twin back lights. Inside, they got more elaborate wood graining. The 1934 Ford V-8 is infamous as being the vehicle in which the notorious Depression-era bandits Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were ambushed and killed. On May 23, 1934, the two outlaws were traveling in a stolen 1934 Ford sedan in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, when a heavily armed law enforcement posse opened fire and riddled their car with bullets and buckshot. This mean Wild Purple machine is powered by a stout 468 CID V8 big block Chevy with a 6-71 Weiand Supercharger and dual 750 Holley carbs to top it all off. Fast, is an understatement. It features Zoomie headers, MSD ignition, a built Turbo 350 with a 3500 stall, 4:11 gears and a B&M Pro Stick shifter. Up front it has aluminum I-beam front axle with disc brakes and Mickey Thompson Sportman 26x7.5x15 tires wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. Out back you will see the narrowed Ford 9” posi quick change rear end with coil overs, drum brakes and 32x17.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets, also wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. The car features a Down Body with 4” chop top, custom built frame, roll cage, suicide doors and custom paint and flames of show quality. The inside of the cabin isn’t what you would expect. Often, people with this level of performance opt for a stripped-out interior, with nothing more than racing seats, gauges and metal. This is certainly not the case with this build. The seats are very comfortable and the cabin is spacious, even with the roll cage installed. Creature comforts such as power windows, seat belts and a vinyl interior can be found too. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this excellent 1936 Ford Pheaton. By the mid-1930s, fully open cars, the roadsters and phaetons, were losing out to convertible coupes and convertible sedans with roll-up side windows. Some manufactures, like General Motors, cut back on open styles altogether. Ford, however, kept a full line in production into the late 1930s. Even though the 1935 Ford Convertible Sedan had proved popular and the ’36 model even more so, leading to a mid-year version with enclosed luggage compartment, phaetons continued to do well, nearly matching the convertible sedans in popularity. This car has a newer restoration and is presented in Washington Blue and Tan LeBaron Bonney interior. This attractive body type combined modern (for the period) styling and V-8 performance. The engine is a 239-cid flathead V-8 (4600 miles since rebuilt) that is matched to a three-speed manual transmission. The phaeton has long, trim lines and seats six adults comfortably. Options include LeBaron Bonny interior, greyhound hood ornament, spare tire, hub caps, seat belts, vinyl interior, kill switch, wide white walls, and bias ply tires. Ford V-8s of the 1930s have been perennial favorites.
