Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale has a very unusual 1969 Ford Mustang Grande for sale in our Arizona showroom. Unusual in the regard that out of a total model year production of 299,824, only 22,182 were Grandes. That's about 7%; who knows how many survive. This single tone gold-colored car is basically solid, with good floors, rockers, trunk pan, and shock towers all looking good. Both lower quarters have only a few surface bubbles at the lower rear, with no rust evident on the inside of the quarter. The black interior is also very nice with only a few cosmetic issues. This Grande has recently been detailed and looks very presentable. It seems to run and drive extremely well, and definitely gets noticed when it's out. The 302-2V engine and C-4 automatic is a very reliable combination and is easy to get parts for, should the need arise. While this attractive Grande is certainly not perfect, the new owner can still be proud to drive it, be seen in it, and work on it to make the many minor improvements while still enjoying it. This is a nice car for a great price! Don't miss this 1969 Ford Mustang Grande for sale right now in our Scottsdale facility. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Scottsdale showroom at 623-900-4884 or email us directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1968 Ford Mustang Convertible

1968 Ford Mustang Convertible

Engine: 289 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 63,984 ( undocumented )

This good looking 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success, and while "Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth, he did oversee the redesign for 1967. The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967 model) and chrome (1968 model) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. This convertible comes with the venerable 289 CID V8 engine with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The car may have been repainted at some time, but the original color is Lime Gold (Code I) and the current owner has had the car for over 15 years. The exterior has been finished with a nice set of factory rally wheels. It gives this a convertible just a little bit sportier look. The interior is Ivy Gold vinyl (Code 2G) and looks to be in very good shape. The black convertible top is in good condition and with a little care will last for years to come. If you’re looking for a nice week end cruiser for some top down fun in the fun, call before this little gem is scooped by another Mustang fanatic. Options for this 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible include; Power convertible Top, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Raised White Letter Radial tires. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. To improve the Mustang's image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. This 1970 Boss 302 is a numbers’ matching 302 CID V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission with Hurst Shifter and POSI rear with 3:91 gears. 2002 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 3.9L V8 F DOHC 32V
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 39,815 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Saint Louis is thrilled to offer for sale this very nice white 2002 Ford Thunderbird convertible. BACKGROUND: After a five-year hiatus, Ford re-introduced its retro-futuristic 11th generation (2002-2005) Ford Thunderbird according to the 1st generation formula, as a two-seat coupe/convertible layout reminiscent of the first-generation. This 11th generation Thunderbird was built on the same platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. It also shared an instrument panel, steering wheel, and other trim pieces with the Lincoln LS. The sole engine of the Thunderbird was a Jaguar-designed AJ-30 3.9 L DOHC V8, a short-stroke variant of the Jaguar AJ-26 4.0 L V8, making 252 horsepower and 267 lb·ft of torque. The engine was mated to Ford's 5R55N 5-speed automatic transmission. This particular 2002 Ford Thunderbird is just what you have been looking for. It only has 39,800 odometer miles and exterior body doesn't have any scratches, dents, or imperfections. The chromes wheels have not been damaged by curbside parking. One of the most attractive features about the 11th generation Thunderbird is the round rear window (blind spot issues aside). The removeable hardtop on this Thunderbird is in impeccable condition. The interior condition matches the appearance of low usage that the exterior has. The leather seats do not show any excessive wear, the dash looks great, all the gauges and instruments function as new, and there are no noticeable scratches, tears or odors. The convertible top is clean and closes tight. Mechanically, as you can see and hear in the video, this 2002 Ford Thunderbird has all the power and ambition it had as when it first rolled off the assembly line. It runs smooths, changes gears seamlessly, and has a great turn radius. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 2002 Ford Thunderbird by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
