For sale in our Detroit showroom is a Henry Ford syledl 1932 Ford Model 18 Roadster with a Rumble Seat. This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20's and early 30's but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920's the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model A was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930's, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. In 1932, Ford brought out a working-class V-8 and forever blurred the lines between factory performance, transportation and hot rods. This lightweight Wescott Body is paired to a potent Flathead V8 sports roughly 100 miles on a rebuild. For that reason alone, the '32 Ford would have earned its place as a performance archetype. Throw in some of the best styling to leave Dearborn in the prewar era and you have the makings of possibly the most sought-after mass-produced interwar car. Luckily, by the time the Model A came around, you could have it in any color you like. This particular roadster comes in Washington Blue, which is paired perfectly with the dark Brown interior. The interior provides comfort you can expect from a newly upholstered bench seat with a rumble seat that looks just as nice. If you are looking for a real steel Model A that retains a large part of its originality and great drivability, then this is the Model A for you. For sale in our Atlanta Showroom is a steel body 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery. An original Barry Lobeck built hot rod for sale, this '32 has a provenance that's hard to beat. This little 32 Sedan Delivery for sale was spared at no expense and shows, in the quality of this build! Built for show and go, this monster of a '32 Ford has just about everything you could ever want in a hot rod. With only 158 miles on the complete odometer, it's barely broken in and is ready for the show circuit or any late night cruise! Powering the hot rod is a stunning 355 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. Starting life as your standard 350 Chevy, this engine was then bored .030 over and dressed with more goodies than you can shake a stick at. When hearing the gear drive whine and the gasp' of the Edelbrock dual-quads opening up, you can tell that this Ford means business. The coated headers run through a dual exhaust system that's music to any car enthusiasts ears. Backing that small block is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Nothing says custom hot rod for sale like a 350/350 engine/tranny set-up! The transmission churns the power down to a built Ford 9" rear end with coil-overs and ladder bars. With 3.50 gears, it's the right mix of street cruising manners and street bruising launches. The power is put to the pavement through a set of staggered aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich performance radial tires. With all of this power and GO, you're going to need some STOP too! SoCal ordered Wilwood disc brakes sit up front while polished finned drums poke out from beneath the deep dish wheels. With a suspension this nice, you need an exterior to match. The body is an all steel beauty, with a stunning Black paint job. Walking around this '32 Ford for sale, you see all the elegant and subtle touches, like custom mirrors, louvered 3-piece steel hood, and tasteful pinstriping. You know you have a one-off show piece when you have a vehicle that looks equally as good in "black-and-white" as it does in color. The interior is so simplistic, it's almost modern. The Stewart Warner gauges are gorgeous and luxurious, especially when added to the custom gauge cluster. The woodgrain pieces make the cab feel warm and cozy. The suede leather bucket seats are matched throughout the cab with a deep and rich brown hide. The smell alone, is almost intoxicating. Options on this 1932 Ford for sale, include: A/C, cassette, cruise control, power windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, keyless entry, leather interior, and aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. Its amazing to have such a minimalistic approach to a hot rod, yet still be adorned with such high quality parts and amenities. Now available in our DFW Showrooms is this custom built 1932 Ford Sedan. Today, the 1932 Model B, although always a little bit in the shadow of the V8, is a highly collectible car and people will pay high dollars to restore one to original specification, which is ironic, as they were once cheap "throwaway" cars popular with hot rodders who would tear them apart and use them as the basis for a "build". This is partly why it is so hard to find an unaltered specimen today. Our 1932 is no exception as it has been rebuilt from the ground up! When starting with a custom-rod, where else do you begin then heart of the vehicle. This 1932 is powered around by a straight out the GM crate- Mr.Goodwrench 350-V8 motor, with aluminum heads, edelbrock carb 650 CFM, and a MSD Ignition. Which creates plenty of ponies to the back wheels. Speaking of wheels, this ride is rolling on a fabulous combo set of US-Mags wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. These all connect to Rust’No’More chassis and a fiberglass body sitting on top. Other additional upgrades to this vehicle include: Aluminum rod 3 core speedway, Pete & Jake frontend, SoCal gas tank, Disc brakes, and Muffler headers. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. We are happy to offer at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this triple red 1932 Ford Roadster. The red Wescott body was completely stripped down and repainted in 2004. The underside of the rear quarter panels were Rhino lined to protect the body while driving down the road. Custom pin-stripping runs throughout the car, along the side, on the trunk lid, and on the dash to help make it stand out amongst the crowd. The red vinyl interior was also replaced in the mid 2000’s and shows very well, with minimal signs of wear. Capping off the red on red on red appearance is the red cloth top that is in very good condition. A Hagan steel hood covers the 302 CID V8 that powers this 32’ Ford down the road. The 302 V8 features a full roller block, E-303 cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum valve covers, and a Holley carburetor. Headers flow to the true dual exhaust that dump out the side in front of the rear tires and provide a great sound. An automatic transmission with overdrive and a shift kit transfers the power to the Ford 9” that houses 3.55 gears. The Wescott body sits on a TCI boxed frame. A 2” dropped chrome axle and rack and pinion steering is up front while a 4-link suspension setup is out back. In the trunk you will find the Pioneer AM/FM radio with CD player, which you can control from the driver’s seat via remote control. The odometer reads 22,602, the actual mileage is unknown, and just 2,000 miles have been put on the car in the last 14 years. Options for this 1932 Ford Roadster include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. The triple red color combination is rarely seen, and much appreciated. This is a great opportunity to grab a 32’ Roadster that will stand out at your local show or cruise. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1932 Ford 3 window Deuce Coupe. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back int he good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and white wall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Don't be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! It is also a proven show winner. It took Street Rodder Top 10 at Goodguys and received the Magnum Axle/ Real Hot Rod award from Goodguys. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a one of a kind 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Sold new on August 28th 1973 in Niagara Falls, New York; this Mach 1 has been lovingly maintained and cared for since. Right off the bat, the car as taken to Armor Guard to be Rust Guard treated. The sticker still remains on the window, and clearly the product did its job as the car is incredibly solid. From then on, the stewards whom owned the vehicle were fanatical about keeping maintenance records, and documentation throughout the car’s life. From oil change invoices, to original Dealership paperwork, almost all of it has remained with the car. With this paper trail, we know the car made it’s way from New York to South Carolina, and then eventually to Illinois. The car is a Mach 1 with it’s original 351 Cleveland under the hood, and a C6 transmission and 9” rear end. It is a well optioned car with bucket seats, factory stripes, factory tachometer, factory AM radio, and even a period style aftermarket FM converter. For the music buff, it also has a factory 8 track player, so you can jam REO Speedwagon’s Ridin the Storm out, or Elton John’s Crocodile rock on 8 track! Other options include: power steering, power brakes, 3 speed wipers, and cigarette lighter. With a recent visit to the Ford dealership, perished suspension and brake components have been replaced, and the car has been given a clean bill of health. As it sits, it is a wonderful highway cruiser and a joy to display at shows. Whether you’re an experienced Mustang collector, or wishing to enter the collector car hobby, this Mach 1 would be a great choice. You can see this 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or STL@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.
