Gateway Classic Cars has just consigned a really unusual car with this 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado for sale in our Scottsdale showroom. This was the first year for this truly innovative technology that engineers shared between the Oldsmobile and Cadillac divisions to bring FWD to their model line-up. Although this car has an amateur paint job of the original color, Frost Green, it could use a bit of refining to make it look its best. The rest of the car has many new mechanical components like a rebuilt engine and transmission, new steering gear, new battery, alternator, water pump, and more. It's a very reliable driver and was recently driven quite a distance to bring it in to consign. The heat and A/C even work. The green interior is a nice complement to the exterior. Although the car needs some final tinkering to get everything in perfect cosmetic and working order, this classic Olds can be driven reliably now while you work on getting it perfect. These first-gen Toronados are starting to get noticed by collectors and are rising in price because these cars offer unique styling not seen at GM during that time period. Buy this one before they get too expensive. You're guaranteed not to see another one at the local cruise night, but you'll get everyone's attention when you pull up in it. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Scottsdale showroom at 623-900-4884 or email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

Gateway Classic Cars is thrilled to offer this amazing 1965 Oldsmobile 442 to its showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! When Pontiac released the GTO in the fall of 1963, Oldsmobile was the first on the scene to compete with the 442 which stood for 4-speed, 4-barrel and Dual Exhaust. Exuberant ads read “Police Needed It, Olds Built It, Pursuit Proved It! Put this one on your wanted list!” Now you have the opportunity to put this one on your list by owning this beauty! This 1965 Olds 442 represents the very best of the early days of the muscle car era and roars down the road! Featuring the numbers matching 400 CID V8, the first year of the famed powerplant, this car has a unique addition that sets it apart from all the other 442s on the market. It has the super-rare 3-2 bbl “tripower” addition, a performance package made available in December 1965, bumping horsepower up to 360! This engine was rebuilt by JTL Engines in Keyport, NJ and runs beautifully! The factory four-speed transmission was also rebuilt and features a period/model correct 12-bolt posi-rear end with 373 gears. This great Oldsmobile wears a brilliant coat of Provincial White which was applied in 2006 after it went through a disassembly and body stripping. The car went through a complete professional restoration in 1999 with the body removed and chassis replaced with the period correct convertible frame. All new stainless fuel and brake lines were installed with every grommet and gasket replaced. The amazing black interior was not forgotten with new seat covers, carpets, rubber moldings and Fischer seat belts added for that authentic touch! Why not put down the automatic top while you’re driving to your next cruise? Let a cool breeze dwell in your space enjoy the fact that this 442 is one of approximately 1389 four-speed convertibles! This 1968 Oldsmobile 442 convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 4-4-2 was Oldsmobiles answer to the Muscle car war of the 60’s. They were stylish and powerful with the quality that people came to expect from Oldsmobile. This beauty is one of the few convertibles left that you will see driving down the road. The car was painted back to its original color of Jade Gold Metallic and it looks stunning. Its almost as if its three different colors depending on the lighting. Put the powered top up and you will see the new black vinyl which helps to show off more of the Metallic gold in the paint. Ofcourse the black stripe on the fender proudly announces that this indeed is a 442. Under the hood is the emphamis 400 that puts out plenty of power to get this drop top down the road. Hooked up to the TH400 transmission which shifts through all 3 gears without a hitch. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi which, in my opinion, is a must in a 60 era’s muscle car. Inside the interior is all 68 OLDS with the bucket seats having a console in between. The shifter has been mounted in the middle of that console which is exactly where a Muscle Cars should be. If there was ever a muscle car to be considered comfortable this is the one. Options on this 1968 OLDS 442 convertible include, AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Seat Belts, and Rally Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1953/1968-Oldsmobile-Cutlass-442. Engine: 455 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed ManualMileage: 1,405 ( since rebuilt )
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an awesome black on black 1967 Oldsmobile 442. Following the success of Pontiac's GTO, Oldsmobile began cramming big V-8s into mid-sized A-body hardtops, and the 442 was born. The 442 moniker represented 4-barrel V-8, 4-speed transmission, and dual exhaust. The 442 was initially offered on Oldsmobile's F85 and Cutlass trim's, in 1968 the 442 became its own model. Available in 2-door sports coupe, holiday hardtop coupe, and convertible. Powering this 67' 442 is a 455 CID V8 with an Edelbrock aluminum intake. The 4-speed manual transmission transfers the power to the 12-bolt rear end and to the pavement via the Radial T/As. Front and rear sway bars have been added to improve the handling of this big sports car as well. The black exterior paint features a black vinyl roof, and is accented with a dual red pinstripe, which also highlights the body line on the side of the car. The black vinyl interior features bucket seats and the beautiful 442 dash treatment. Raised white letter BF Goodrich Radial T/As sit on the Cragar rally wheels and provide a classic muscle car look. The odometer reads 1,405, which represents the mileage on the car since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1967 Oldsmobile 442 include: AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This 67' 442 is a breeze to drive and has plenty of get up and go to put a smile on your face all day long. Engine: 400 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed ManualMileage: 300 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia offers this exquisite this striking 1966 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 at our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! With competition coming from all directions, Oldsmobile came out strong with the introduction of the 4-4-2! While it was a worthy competitor, the 4-4-2 fell short of cubic inches and the straight-line performance seen in cars like the GTO and Chevelle. To answer the call, Oldsmobile prepared a new 400 engine in 1965 and revamped the 4-4-2 package with simulated rear fender scoops and colorful 4-4-2 badges. Thanks to these changes, Oldsmobile saw significant success in their sales and were looking forward to the 1966 model year. This superb 4-4-2 is perhaps one of the nicest examples of the treasured muscle car from 1966 and appears just as it did from the showroom! This beauty received the full treatment with a frame off restoration including the glass being replaced and coded, black interior totally redone and all suspension components rebuilt! Painted in stunning silver metallic, the car has a beautiful finish and it is heavily emphasized with the mirror-finish chrome and brightwork that was all restored! Powering this incredible machine is the numbers matching 400 CID V8, rebuilt 300 miles ago, equipped with the legendary Track Pac, an over-the-counter Tri-Carb conversion kit that boosted power from 350 to 360 horsepower! Perhaps the coolest part of the engine bay is the Outside Air Induction package (OAI). The OAI features dual air scoops that are incorporated in the front bumpers which interestingly forced the relocation of the front turn-signals. To make room for the scoops, the factory moved the turn signals in about a foot! You won’t see this on your average Olds! This car really moves and you can feel the power as you shift through all four gears! From the handsome black bench seats to the clean trunk, this 4-4-2 means business and is ready for its next adventure. Call us today to learn more information and make this beauty yours! Additional features include rebuilt side-tachometer, brand new brake and fuel lines, seat belts, battery kill switch and Posi-rear with 4:11 gears. Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado to its Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! Titled as the first American production car with front wheel drive, the Toronado was ahead of its time thanks to the engineers at GM who utilized the car as a means to convey the latest in technological advances. It had been nearly thirty years since the Cord 812 hit the streets with its unique styling and front wheel drive, a vehicle which Oldsmobile designers heavily studied while fashioning the Toronado. At its debut, the Oldsmobile Toronado featured an array of revolutionary innovations including the heavy-duty Turbo-Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission and an improved 425 CID V8 topped with a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. This particular combination was called the Unitized Power Package (UPP) which endured grueling testing and came out as one of the best built powertrains out of Detroit. This bronze 1966 Toronado features this and so much more! Open the elongated doors with duplicate handles to reveal a handsome interior that fits the whole family! Take note of the futuristic steering wheel and the awesome slot-machine speedometer that vertically rotates as you speed down the highway! There is so much to love about this Oldsmobile that you have to see it in person to truly appreciate its contributions to auto history! Don’t waste another minute looking; pick up the phone and take home Motor Trend’s Car of the Year, the 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado! Engine: 3.8L V6 FTransmission: 4 Speed Automatic with Electric OverdriveMileage: 62,131 ( actual )
For sale in our Tampa showroom is this time capsule of a 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. A little background on this vehicle. in mid-1987, Oldsmobile attempted to bolster sagging Toronado sales by introducing a sportier model called the Troféo, which boasted standard leather bucket seats, faux dual exhaust, more-aggressive styling, and a stiffer suspension (the highly regarded corporate FE3 package, with retuned shocks, struts and other components). The 1989 Troféo, which was no longer badged externally as a Toronado, could be ordered with the Visual Information Center: a dash mounted touch-screen CRT that controlled the vehicle's thermostat and radio and also supplied advanced instrumentation such as a trip computer. The VIC could also serve as the interface to an in-car hands-free cell phone. Troféo also received standard anti-lock brakes and a new steering wheel that featured buttons for radio and climate controls. Toronados now had standard bucket seats with console, although the split-bench seat was still offered as an option. 1990 saw Oldsmobile literally and figuratively going to great lengths to revive Toronado and Troféo sales. The hood was the only carry over sheet metal as Olds designers completely redesigned the body, particularly in the rear, increasing the overall length by about 12 in (305 mm). This 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo has the original burgundy paint and matching interior. Powered by the 3800 V6 this Olds is ready to take you down the road with only 62,131 miles. This Oldsmobile is a survivor car that is mostly original. Recently this Oldsmobile has had a new A/C system and a new brakes system installed. Options on this cruiser include AM/FM radio, cruise control, hub caps, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power locks, jack and spare tire, power seats, power windows, anti lock brakes, tilt wheel, traction control, keyless entry, power mirrors, driver airbag, anti theft system, leather interior, radial tires and rally wheels. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this single family owned 1961 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight. These classic beauties make for great weekend cruisers and a Sunday driver. That is exactly what this car was used for through-out its lifetime. The current owners great grandfather drove this beauty to church every Sunday and kept in stored in a garage it’s whole life. Apart from some surface rust this car is a great survivor. This Old’s 98 is powered by the original and strong running 394 CID V8 also known as the “Sky Rocket” back in it’s prime. It’s stated by the owner of the vehicle that the mileage is original to the car. I will say based on condition of the car and the history it’s not impossible. With that type of mileage this car is only averaging 371 miles per year, THAT’S INSANE! The engine is paired to a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission and is a breeze to drive. The interior remains in very good condition considering the age of the classic. With the blue cloth interior and original instrument panel this car really puts you back into the ‘60s. Something very cool is the vintage radio still working in the car. Unlike modern radios, this one takes a moment to warm up prior to your favorite tunes coming on. They really did a great job with the attention to detail in the 60s to include the intricate “Oldsmobile” badging in the center of the steering wheel. Whether your looking for a nice cruiser or something to put your personal spin on, this is a great car for both options. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S convertible. This gorgeous Cutlass has been with the same owner since '81 and has been very well cared for and loved over the last 37 years. Painted in a beauituful dark blue with a white soft top and black vinyl interior. The rebuilt 350 makes great power, approximately 420 horsepower, and has covered around 4-5 thousand miles since the rebuild. The suspension has been gone through to make this a very nice car to drive. Driving this car, you have all of the cofidence in the world. Miles are showing 16,625 but has rolled over once. You wouldn't know it by driving though. Still feels like new! Equipment includes Power brakes, Power steering and a Power top. During restoration work, the seller was most concerned about safety and driveability. So the engine was beefed up a bit and is definetly making more power than original. The paint was sprayed in the lte 90's but the car has been stored indoors and still retains a great shine. The Cutlass was a mid-size car produced by Oldsmobile from 1966 to 1997. The Cutlass was replaced by Oldsmobile Intrigue for the 1998 model year. This Cutlass Convertible was built to cruise; top down, wind in your hair and the sound of a rumbling V8 out back. Yes please!
