If you're going to build a street rod, going subtle probably isn't the first thing on your mind. The Bright Dupont paint in millennium lemon ice that is greatly contrasted with a gloss black roof as well as a killer looking set of flames on each side. And if the flames are not you style have no worry, they are easily removed since they are achieved by a vinyl wrap. This 1933 Ford 3-window coupe is all about getting attention, but it's also the rare rod that's got the horsepower and engineering behind it to be insanely fast and completely ready to cruise. The fiberglass body built by Show-Me Rods & Customs with a 3” chop, suicide doors, shaved handles, hidden hinges, and smooth as glass running boards. All of that custom work sits on a custom Pete & Jake’s frame that is fully boxed & powdercoated. A Hercules 3-piece steel hood complete with louvers is what hides the Chevrolet 350 cubic inch V8 with Vortec cylinder heads. Complete with all of the polished billet pieces to help this 33’ stand out in a crowd! Transferring the power to the ground while keeping the rpm’s low for cruising is a 700-R4 automatic transmission complete with an AFCO aluminum transmission cooler. Keep everything under the hood cool on even the hottest of days is the Custom aluminum radiator that is fed air through the Show-Me custom grille. Once you open up the suicide doors and you are treated a completely custom interior that is built around a set of Glide Engineering seats with a custom center console. Sculpted panels including floor, headliner, doors & trunk keep the custom theme rolling but also have a sense that you are sitting in a luxury machine. Looking back at the driver is a fiberglass dash that houses a set of VDO gauges as well as a Pioneer stereo system. If the power windows are not enough to keep the occupants cool then the Vintage air conditioning can help out in that department. Giving this coupe it’s great ride & handling is a the TCI independent front show unit with Aldan coil over shocks, Pete & Jake’s four bar rear with Panard bar & Aldan coil over shocks also. Steering tasks little to no effort with the rack & pinion steering setup. Out back is a Ford 9” housing a set of 3:50 gears. Helping grip the road is a set of radial tires that wrap a set of Polished aluminum American Racing wheels. Engine: 350 CID V8 LT1Transmission: Turbo 350Mileage: 23,036 ( undocumented )
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an extremely interesting and well built 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery street rod. Finished in stunning red with wide white wall tires at first glance this may look like a standard '33, but look closer and you'll see nearly every part has been customized. The body is a all steel and was 1 of under 2,000 Sedan Deliverys made in '33. The paint is Ferrari Testarossa Red and has been beautifully applied. You'll notice the advertisement for "Mortland's Auto Body" on the side, and that's the shop that took care of the paint for this '33. The lettering is real gold leaf and may contain a small fortune right there on the side of the truck. The front windshield is functional and tilts out for nice ventilation. In addition, all glass is amber tinted safety glass. The rear mounted exterior trunk is a nice classic touch, but if it is not your style, the trunk and bracket can be easily removed. The chrome wire wheels are a great look especially with the new set of Coker Classic wide white wall tires. The beating heart of this '33 is a 1970 LT-1 350 CID V8 which is rated at 370 BHP. The engine was overhauled in 2006 and since has traveled just over 23,000 miles. Of course the power plant is dressed up with all the goodies: Endurashine carburetor, custom valve covers, chrome lines and fittings, and custom air cleaner. Backing the 350 is a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission which runs to an 8" Ford rear end with 2.73 final drive ratio. This Ford was set up to drive across the country and has done just that a few times. Inside you'll be nice and comfortable sitting on front leather bucket seats. Crank up the stereo and the Vintage Air A/C unit and arrive in style and comfort. The dash is well laid out with everything you'll need including gauges by Classic Instruments, custom machined dash panels, and a very nifty steering wheel. Mounted to a tilt column, the Flaming River billet steering wheel can be removed without any tools as a simple yet effective theft deterrent. The rear section of the truck has been nicely upholstered with storage in the floor which includes a hidden spare wheel. This street rod is sure to stand out among the simpler builds and is already a multi-trophy winner. The best part is how well documented the vehicle has been since being restored. Engine specs, suspension details, brake details, even right down to gaskets and hoses used have all been recorded so the new owner can keep this rod maintained without all the guess work. The Sedan Delivery was very well thought out and really must be seen to appreciate. You can view this Ford in greater detail, including HD video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call 618-271-3000 with any questions.

If you take a look at the 1935 Ford Tudor and you can tell 1935 was a big The 1935 Ford was a thorough refresh on the popular V8-powered Ford. Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 1957 Thunderbird that is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom. The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and is credited in developing a new market segment, the personal luxury car. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a hood scoop and a 150 mph (240 km/h) speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didn't possess. Mechanically though, the Thunderbird could trace its roots to other mainstream Fords. The Thunderbird's 102.0 inches wheelbase frame was mostly a shortened version of that used in other Fords. This car has been repainted a number of years ago but still looks great. It has a power seat, Town & Country seeking radio, and muffler just replaced. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
