1971 Chevrolet Nova

1971 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,522 ( undocumented )

Milwaukee features a beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Nova in Harvest gold with black interior. It features Power steering, power brakes, and a mild cam with hurst linkage and a tach. The bold 350ci motor roars as you push thru the 4 speed trans. 1971 Novas were similar to the previous year. The 396 cu in (6.49 L) engine was replaced with the 350 cu in (5.7 L) in the SS model. 1971 also saw the introduction of the Rally Nova, a trim level that only lasted two years (until it resurfaced in 1977). The Rally kit included black or white stripes that ran the length of the car and around the back, a Rally Nova sticker on the driver's side of the hood, Rally wheels, multi-leaf rear springs, and a "sport" body colored driver's side mirror that was adjustable from the interior. The well-hyped Vega stole sales from the Nova this year, but the compact soon would enjoy a resurgence of popularity that would last deep into the 1970s. A mid year production change was the front door hinges spot welded to the A pillar and the door shell, This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. 1970 Chevrolet Nova

1970 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 450 small block
Transmission: TH-350
Mileage: 9,268 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is way meaner than one may think. Power for this bad machine comes from 450 cubic inch small block using an aftermarket "Rocket" block. This special block allows for a bit more displacement without sacrificing the blocks integrity. The go fast goodies inside include a full solid roller valve train, Manley connecting rods, 10.5:1 JE Pistons, Quick Fuel carburetor and AFR aluminum high flow cylinder heads to name a few. Power is estimated in the 600 horsepower range. Firing up this amazing power plant will impress any gear head. Many would think that an engine with such power and menacing sound would be a difficult one to drive. Believe it or not, this one is very well mannered. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch and is equipped with 3.00:1 gear set for easy highway use. Since the drivetrain build, the car has covered a modest 1,000 miles and is ready for more use and enjoyment. Slowing down such a machine means that drums won't do the job anymore. In place is a new pair of Wilwood front disc brakes while drums remain out back, but still doing their job. Weld Racing wheels look right at home on this Nova as does the Green on Green paint scheme. Adding a little flair to the exterior in addition to the wheels is a set mild stripes that barley show themselves. You may even call them ghost stripes. Inside is stock Nova with exception of the aftermarket gauges. The original bench seat is quite comfy and looks really good. Someone could very easily swap them out for a pair of buckets if they so desired. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Nova, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom, Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is pleased to present this custom-built 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car. Bathed in the well-known performance shade of Hugger Orange, this Nova is turn-key ready for the track. This car was built by Pyle Brothers in Baytown, TX, and the professional build quality is evident. From the full tubular chassis and integrated roll cage, one can easily spot a purpose-built drag car. Sporting a huge snorkel hood scoop, Strange Engineering high-torque axles, and Strange Engineering braking (multipiece slotted and drilled rotors front and rear, Strange multi-piston calipers front and rear), multi-piece Weld Drag wheels at all four corners, M/T skinnies up front, M/T 33x15.0x15 slicks out back, and wheelie bars, this car says "race-only baby!", even from a distance. Under the hood is a massive 490 CID big block Chevy V8 (built by Houston Engine and Balancing), sporting Dart heads and valve covers, an Edelbrock high-rise aluminum manifold, Holley race carb, and a gigantic deep sump oil pan. Uncapped race headers help route the spent combustion mix, which they do very effectively, and with tremendous sound and fury. Twin electric fans keep the radiator temp in check, and the electric water pump keeps the coolant flowing with no loss of power or cooling efficiency. A competition-prepped GM Powerglide 2-speed automatic handles the single gear change from tree to the finish line, and it'll take everything that 490 CID V8 can dish out, plus more. A full competition-approved fuel cell and the trunk-mounted Optima battery are easy to get to by removing the Dzus-fastened trunk, and more Dzus fasteners allow easy access to key driveline components normally covered by the floor pan. Out back, a Ford 9-inch rear end serves as part of a fully adjustable multi-link rear suspension with Drag Coil-over shocks and wheelie bar serve to keep the rear end planted and the front end out of the sky at launch. Inside, the driver has all controls within easy reach, and fingertip controls make it easy, with the Painless wiring setup and control panel being reachable even when the driver is fully belted into the Kirkey racing bucket with the massive Simpson race harness. This back-halved car is ready to hit the strip with no excuses, and is ready for the pit crew between passes, with its abundant Dzus fasteners providing easy on/off of hood and trunk. The chassis and cage are 2016 NHRA certified, with certification number A710909, for 8.50 and slower ET vehicles. A full set of gauges help the driver keep track of critical functions, and a removable steering wheel helps for easier ingress/egress before and after your hot passes. For night racing at the track, you'll like the fact that the headlights, taillights, and brake lights all work. If you're looking for a turn-key 9 second drag car, this is the one you want. This is a race only vehicle and does not come with a title. If you like low E.T.'s this is a great starting point. For more information on this 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car for sale, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at "Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com". The motor was bored 30 over also. This was a private built car, but you would never have known that unless I told as it looks like a pro built car. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car

Engine: 396 CID V8
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 90,892 ( undocumented )

For sale is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Indy Pace Car is in our Louisville showroom. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Pace Car has an awful lot going for it - terrific curb appeal via a signature two tone paint job, a big block sitting underneath the hood to provide all the power you could want and a one of a kind interior that's been brought back to top shape come to mind right off. There were fewer than 4000 of its kind made to begin with, and most of those have fallen by the wayside over these past decades, so it's also got substantial collectability to go along with its outstanding, vintage good looks. Skillful restoration and good care have a powerful impact on a classic car and for this one, they've paid especially big dividends. The Dover white body carrying a pair of broad Hugger orange hood and deck lid stripes that help define this Camaro's pace car configuration looks great, and the stripes themselves have very clean edges. Chevy changed the configuration of the hidden headlights up front for this year, giving them distinctive horizontal vents that look great in their white surroundings, with a black SS grille sitting front and center and a pair of close-set fog lights looming below. The badging on all four sides is clean and securely positioned, and the front and back bumpers sport straight chrome with a great shine. For protection against inclement weather, the manual white vinyl top raises into place without any drama and has an impressively clear plastic window in back. The interior waiting inside is a stunner, featuring the original orange houndstooth check upholstery that also helped distinguished this special breed of Camaro when it was released. Options on this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Indy Pace Car for sale include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Convertible Soft Top, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Steering wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth/Vinyl Interior and Rally Wheels with Radial Tires. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Indy Pace Car for sale is in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400

1962 Chevrolet Nova 400

Engine: 194 Inline 6
Transmission: 2 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 11,885 ( undocumented )

For sale is this beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible is in our Louisville showroom. The 1962 Chevy II (Nova) rode a 110-inch wheelbase, compared to 109.5 for the Ford Falcon, at which Chevy's new compact was aimed. The Chevy II one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM history – just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first production Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan, assembly line in August 1961, in time for its September 29 introduction. Unlike the Corvair, the 1962 Chevy II was deliberately never intended to be revolutionary in concept or execution; its mission was to give Chevrolet buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car and it did. This Nova 400 convertible is very clean, but still very simple. A quick peek of the underside will show how clean the car. Under the hood, is the ever reliable inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine is backed by a 2-speed automatic power glide transmission. The interior is basically stock, but some of the vinyl ha been replaced with cloth inserts. The convertible is manual, but so easy to put up and down, that it only takes one person to do it. Options on this 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible for sale include; AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Soft Top, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior and White Wall Radial Tires. 1962 Chevrolet Nova 400 Convertible for sale is in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
