Attention racing enthusiasts! Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very unique take on the 1967 Lotus Super 7 Series 3. This is a Westfield 1 kit which was built in 1999 and has a clean Illinois title as a 1999 special construction. The beating heart of this track killer is a 1,700cc Inline 4 cylinder Formula Ford engine built to Super Sprint specs by Andreson. The 1700 features dual side draft Weber carburetors and a free flowing exhaust which allows for 160 HP. The power to weight ratio is incredible when you consider this one is 900 pounds wet without a driver. This vehicle really is like a street legal go cart and is an absolute terror on a race track. Backing the 1700 is a Quaif 5 speed manual close ratio gearbox which has short throws and is very precise. Other track oriented goodies include: dry sump oil system, oil cooler and thermostat, 8 gallon custom fuel tank with foam baffling, 4 wheel disk brakes with adjustable brake bias, aluminum radiator with electric fan, and 5 point safety harness. If you wanted something you could hop in on a Saturday morning, drive to your local track day or autocross event, and then drive home, this is the one. You'll be putting 911s, MX-5s, and STIs to shame in this street legal race car. The car is finished in a classic coat of yellow which really fits the Lotus body. The dash, interior panels, mirrors, and other bits are carbon fiber. The seats are upholstered in green to complete the Lotus color scheme and are a comfortable yet snug place to sit. There are side curtains and a convertible top which can be used when you're caught in a drizzle, but this car is best enjoyed topless. It's great on the track, but will also catch plenty of looks darting in and out of traffic around town. The car has just over 4,500 miles since being built and is ready for a new enthusiast to take ownership and enjoy this excellent driving machine. Here's a chance to own the ultimate club racer! Located in our St. Louis Showroom, this 1967 Lotus Super 7 can be seen including 50+ HD pictures and video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. HIGH VALUE VEHICLES

2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Engine: 5.4L V8 F DOHC 32V
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 4,752 ( actual )

Professionally crafted by Galpin Auto Sports aka GAS in Van Nuys, California, this handmade GT-500 is a sight to behold! With over 8 months alone in the body and paint, the body was sculpted out of metal and was coated in a custom pepper gray metallic paint that looks sinister from all angles. Shaved door handles keep the look sleek and freshly powder coated Forgiato 3-piece GTR wheels finish off the look well. A clear bra was placed on multiple areas of the car as well to protect it from stone chips. This car makes an amazing show car but performs just as well on the track! Awaiting to come alive under the hood sits a 5.4L V8 that came in the GT-500’s originally, however this one has been equipped with a 2.3L VMP supercharger producing a dyno-proven 700+ horsepower to the rear wheels! Bigger injectors, oversized aluminum Shelby intercooler, Ford Racing single blade throttle body connected to a cold air intake, and a Diablo tune insures max efficiency and power. Keeping this Shelby hooked to the pavement is a Ford Racing performance lowering suspension and a Watts 4-link in the rear. This paired with the 11.5” wide wheels up front and 14” wide wheels on the rear, this Mustang handles like it is on rails! With so much power and excellent cornering abilities, the only thing left are the brakes. Taking care of this is a set of Wilwood disc brakes both front and rear with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-pistons in the rear grabbing down on a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors. There are few cars out there that are as well-equipped as this GT-500 and would make an excellent car for a true driving enthusiast. Whether their plan is to show it off or rip it around the track this wild Mustang will not disappoint. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. 1970 Dodge Charger

1970 Dodge Charger

Engine: 440-6 V8
Transmission: 727 Automatic
Mileage: 1,149 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a showroom condition, 1970 Dodge Charger restored as a tribute to the record setting Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge Daytona’s, also known as the "Winged Warriors", did not compete for long in NASCAR's top Cup series. On the next season of NASCAR, the executives banned aero specs on cars with engines bigger than 300 Cubic inches. Because of their exceptional speed and performance, NASCAR subsequently changed the rule book, effectively banning all four of the Aero Cars from Dodge, Ford, Mercury, and Plymouth from competition by the end of 1970. The Daytona's short-lived NASCAR career makes these vehicles a piece of history, both in Americana sense as well as engineering. This Charger, now fresh after a restoration, has just 1,149 miles. Under the hood you'll find a 440 6-pack big block backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-spd automatic transmission. This drivetrain puts power to ground through an 8 3/4 rear-end with 3.23 SureGrip gears. Options include: AC, AM radio(not operable), spare tire, jack, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, rally wheels and raised white letter radial tires. The rear tires are: BF Goodrich Radial TA 255/60/15. Front: BF Goodrich Radial TA 235/60/15. The thorough restoration was meticulous and consisted of taking the body off the frame and powder coating front end components as well as the K-frame. Original gauges were sent off and refurbished and look great! Heck, the clock is working wonderfully! Just closing the door of a classic you can usually tell the quality of the work performed. These doors shut effortlessly and line up! Looking underneath the vehicle you can tell attention to detail was important to this builder. The biggest benefit someone can obtain here is saving thousands on their own restoration while enjoying a piece of history without worrying about depreciating a true Daytona. It's a win-win.
