Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang GT 428 Cobra Jet. Ford changed the body style of the Mustang for the '67 year model. Some Mustang fans were critical that they made the car too large. Perhaps the main reason is although the car was made larger, there wasn't any large power increase. This changed for the better in '68 when the largest available engine was bumped up from a 390 CID V8 to a massive 428 CID Cobra Jet V8. That's right, seven liters. This is the first time big displacement had been crammed into the Mustang, and hot rodders loved it. This '68 is a true "R-code" which was born with a Cobra Jet from the factory. The original engine has be replaced with a 428 from a '69 Mach 1. The car has been fully restored including completely stripping and repainting the body in gorgeous Highland Green. The color and year will remind some of one of the most famous Mustangs: Bullitt. The 428 Cobra Jet is backed up by a 4 speed manual for the true driving enthusiast. In its current set up, it has an old school look with Keystone wheels, wide back tires, and track bars. From the factory this one was set up for stop light racing with 4.30 gears with Traction-Lok and a 4 speed. The 4.30s have been swapped out for some more street friendly 3.50 gears. This car runs and drives beautifully and could easily be driven to the next show, or taken on a long weekend. The interior is black vinyl in great shape as well. This 1968 Ford Mustang GT 428 Cobra Jet would be a welcome addition to any Mustang fan's collection. You can see this beautiful car in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or

Tributes and clones are a great way to get into a dream car for a smaller price, and this 1968 Shelby GT350 fastback tribute certainly does it right. No expense was spared with this frame off restoration with every nut and bolt either being replaced or refurbished. Kleve Restorations out of Lakewood Colorado sprayed the very clean Ford performance white with Guardsman blue stripes to keep with the Shelby heritage. Every chrome piece is new, plus all of the stainless trim has been professionally restored. It has a long list of authentic parts, a strong running 347 cubic inch V8. Also the right look to make everyone at the local show do double-take when it rolls in. The engine is not original, it was built by Tristar Engines. Helping it pump out 418 horsepower is a set of Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, Howard’s roller camshaft, and ceramic coated headers are just some of the top shelf performance part included in the build. When paired with the Tremec 5-Speed T5 Z spec transmission you can cruise down the highway at 1,600 rpm while traveling 65 mph. Anyone lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel will appreciate the great level of detail that went into this car! Once glance at the dash and you’ll notice reproduction Mustang gauges featuring an 8,000 rpm tachometer as weel as a 160 mph speedometer. Making sure you are in total control of everything electrical is the new painless wiring harness complete with modern fuses. 17” Eleanor styled wheels help round out the entire package nicely. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission. All of these factors put together add up to a car that not only looks amazing, but drives as good as it looks too. This good looking 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success, and while "Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth, he did oversee the redesign for 1967. The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967 model) and chrome (1968 model) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. This convertible comes with the venerable 289 CID V8 engine with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The car may have been repainted at some time, but the original color is Lime Gold (Code I) and the current owner has had the car for over 15 years. The exterior has been finished with a nice set of factory rally wheels. It gives this a convertible just a little bit sportier look. The interior is Ivy Gold vinyl (Code 2G) and looks to be in very good shape. The black convertible top is in good condition and with a little care will last for years to come. If you’re looking for a nice week end cruiser for some top down fun in the fun, call before this little gem is scooped by another Mustang fanatic. Options for this 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible include; Power convertible Top, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Raised White Letter Radial tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is this beautiful 1969 Mustang Convertible. This little pony was one of the first major redesigns of the early Mustang. Building on the success of the previous 4 years a lot changed for the 1969 Mustang. It now featured quad headlights up front, with the outer two being more recessed than the inner two that were merely mounted on the grille. It was also now larger and wider to look more muscular and aggressive to compete with Muscle cars in the styling department. When you take that new styling and add an automatic convertible top, you have what might be the best looking pony car to ever come out of Detroit. Sporting a 5 speed manual gear box and a 351 Cleveland V8, this car has the gumption to easily impress you in the seat dyno and spin tires. You’ll more than appreciate the ease and fun of driving this hopped up pony car. This wonderful 1969 Mustang sports a white automatic convertible top, a deep Dark Maple paint, vinyl interior, power steering, radial tires, rally wheels, and am radio. If you’re ready to drop the top and hit the highway come see us in the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email firstname.lastname@example.org

With just under 2,700 miles on a fresh rebuild this tastefully modified 1965 Mustang is ready to hit the road and cruise! Setting this Mustang apart from rest of the crowd is a custom Shelby style front end and hood, American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, and lowered stance that really set off the performance feel. Giving it the lowered stance and helping it to out corner its stock counterpart is a set of TCP adjustable coil overs upfront and newer lower leaf springs in the rear. Also helping it to corner is the Flaming River power rack and pinion cradle that was a huge improvement from the factory equipment. The remanufactured 302 cubic inch V8 sitting under the hood has been tuned up to give it that extra power it needed. Modifications include the Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and 4-barrell carburetor, a mild cam giving it a healthy choppy idle, and a set of Hedman long-tube headers flowing through a full Flowmaster exhaust system. Backing up that small block Ford engine is a built up C4 automatic transmission that shifts crisply between gears. Helping to add to the reliability of this Mustang, it was completely rewired using an American Autowire Mustang harness and an aluminum radiator was installed along with an electric fan to keep it cool. This Mustang has been well sorted out and has a great deal of classy touches throughout. If you are looking for a turn key classic Mustang that can be shown and still driven without worry this is an excellent choice! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. Upon the birth of the Mustang in 1964, the American working class was finally offered an affordable entry into the world of hobbyist vehicles. Upon decoding the VIN and doorplate, we learn that this Mustang was birthed in the Dearborn, MI plant, before being DSO’d to Lansing, MI. The car has undergone a loving restoration in the past, but has managed to retain its originality in terms of powerplant, Rangoon Red exterior, and interior color. This Pony is a “C-Code car”, meaning that she was optioned with a 289 CID 2V V8 with a matching C4 automatic from the factory, as well as a power top, power steering, and power brakes, making this Mustang extremely approachable in terms of ownership. All too often, these pony cars were sent out the door with a 170 or 200 CID inline 6 cylinder. This C-Code Stang, however, supplies the driver with steadfast confidence in the car’s ability to move comfortably up steep inclines with minimal throttle.
