Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautifully built 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Resto-Mod. This one of a kind Galaxie has the best of both worlds: classic 1960s Ford styling on the exterior, and a modern drive train and braking components underneath. This '62 coupe is finished in a beautiful coat of Vista Blue on the exterior with beautiful stainless and chrome trim. She sits on modern 5 spoke wheels finished in graphite gray which are wrapped in modern radial tires. Peek through the spokes and you'll find these 17s are there to make room for 13" front and 11" rear Baer disc brakes. This serious braking system gives a hint as to what you'll find under the hood: a 5.4 Liter Fuel Injected Ford V8. Backing the 5.4 is a 4R70W 4 speed automatic transmission which runs to a 8.8 Mustang rear end with 3.55 final drive ratio. It's neat to see an all Ford drive train in this hot rod! This one is set up with power steering, power brakes, and Air Conditioning to keep you safe and comfortable on the long hauls. With the reliable drive train, this car is just begging to be taken on a cross country tour. What a perfect car for the Hot Rod Power Tour. The interior is finished just as nicely as the exterior with vinyl seating, a custom console, and a tall Lokar shifter. There's plenty of room in the back seat if you want to bring your friends and family along. The car as it sits has only tallied 2,256 miles on the current build. You can be the one to take it thousands of miles more. You can see this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at Please contact 618-271-3000 or with inquiries.

1962 Ford Thunderbird M Code

Engine: 390 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 61,025 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this absolutely stunning 1962 Ford Thunderbird M-Code at our Orlando showroom. This beautiful 'bird from a long-ago era known as the "Jet Age" definitely makes a statement, whether it's sitting still or in motion. This beauty is an un-restored original classic with no body work, only re-painted in its original Sahara Rose. The entire drivetrain was refreshed to get everything done right. This is a rare M Code 390 Tri-power car that is one of 30 and while it was conservatively reported to have 340 bhp with 10.5.1 compression it was rated as having 400 bhp making it the highest performance rated T-Bird built. Underneath the car, where really nobody looks (but critical) to the functionality, comfort, and safety of driving this Ford classic wherever you may want to go, all major systems, including, front suspension, rear suspension, U-joints, braking system, and exhaust system are as they should be. The interior has new seat covers, new seat foam, new carpet. The car has power windows, an AM radio, tilt steering column, power brakes, real wire wheels. Built in May of 1962 and originally purchased in Denver, it spent most of its life in San Diego and now resides in Florida. 1963 Ford Thunderbird

1963 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 390 CID Bored .030
Transmission: Cruise-O-Matic
Mileage: 109,932 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a stainless steel over red 1963 Ford Thunderbird. The 390 CID V8 engine was bored 0.030 over and professionally rebuilt with Speed-Pro pistons/rings, King/Clevite bearings, ARP fasteners, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 750 CFM carburetor, Summit gold street-race oil pan, heads from a c4ae-g, and a c4ae-b (427) crank. All these additions and work have combined for an estimated 375 horsepower and 430 lb-ft torque! The professionally built Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission transfers the power to the Ford 9” rear end with 3.50 gears. This Thunderbird was built to participate on the Pro Touring circuit. On top of all the engine and transmission work, the brakes and suspension received a thorough look through. The top half of the car is wrapped in a custom vinyl wrap that appears like stainless steel, while the lower half is painted red, which combines for an interesting and unique look. The red vinyl interior is in good condition, free from major signs of wear. A neat feature to these Thunderbirds is the swing away steering wheel. Simply push the shifter to the right, slightly passed the park position, and the entire steering column will swing to the right, creating more room for the driver to exit the car. The odometer reads 109,932, while the actual mileage is unknown, about 5,500 miles have been put on the car since the recent restoration and engine work were complete. Options for this 1963 Ford Thunderbird include: Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Swing-Away Steering Wheel, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a neat example of an early 60’s T-Bird, which has received excellent power improvement and is ready for a new owner to enjoy. 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL

1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL

Engine: 352 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 69,559 ( actual )

This 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL is for sale ion our Louisville KY showroom. The Galaxie was Ford’s answer to GM’s extremely popular Impala. The Galaxie 500 nameplate was added to the 59 Fairlane as a top of the line trim level in 1959. In 1960 it became its own car with its own style and engine packages. This 62 is a great example of what you would expect in 1962. The white paint is in excellent condition with the simple flick of a switch activating the power top. With the top out of the way an extremely nice stock black vinyl interior is easily exposed. With the buckets eats upfront separated by a console which houses the shifter a rare option for 62. The white paint is clean and shows extremely well with the chrome fender skirts complimenting that old school look. The trim ties in with those big chrome bumpers while black accents bring it all together. Open that long hood and one of the cleanest engine compartments I have seen is glaring back at you. The FE series 352 gets the car going down the road nicely with plenty of low end grunt to get you going. Drop that shifter into drive and let the cruise-o-matic do the rest. Shifting through all 3 gears nicely this car is meant to hit the road and cruise. If you have been wanting to get a classic 60’s era drop top that runs as good as it looks this 62 Galaxie is the one for you. Options on this 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible include, AM Radio, Power Steering, Power Top, Hubcaps, and Radial Tires. Mileage: 82,606 ( undocumented )

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a very unique 1962 Ford Econoline Van. This ’62 Ford Econoline is one of the coolest van’s rolling down the road and with its recent restoration, you can be sure it’s got a lot of road life left.
