Engine: 4-cyl OHVTransmission: 5 Speed ManualMileage: 19,800 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Scottsdale Showroom is this 1979 VW Beetle convertible with a Fuel Injected engine and 5 speed transmission. The 1979 model year was the last year for the convertible Beetle which makes this car even more desirable. There were many upgrades done to the Beetle throughout its long production history and this car incorporates many of those improvements. The Bosch electronic fuel injection on this car insures easy starting in all weather and increases horsepower and gas mileage. The Macpherson strut front suspension gives this Beetle better handling and rid than earlier models. Unlike many vintage VWs that have had questionable and not always beneficial “modifications” done, this Bug is just as the engineers at Volkswagen who designed these cars intended. The body looks original on this car and is in good shape although there appears to be rust on the floorboards which was repaired with sheet metal and screws. The car has had a repaint at some point which looks good and the glass is in good condition as well. The soft top has no tears and works well, and the back glass is good, the black interior is also in good condition. There is a Sony AM/FM/CD player in the dash that works great to play your favorite tunes. This car runs, drives and shifts as it should and is ready to take you on your next open road adventure, so put the top down, let the sun shine and let the good times roll in this classic VW Beetle convertible! Remember yesterday’s thinkers are todays buyers so don’t wait. To see 100 plus photos of this car visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com For more information on this 1979 Volkswagen Beetle, please contact our Scottsdale showroom at (623) 900-4884 or email us at email@example.com.

Add to that the rare Gulf Blue paint and this is nearly a one of a kind ride! This has been faithfully restored and still retains nearly all OEM equipment, plus a few extras like the roof rack and rare 6 volt interior fan. Rolling around on the original steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and new bias ply whitewalls this car motors about the way one would expect from a brand new 1963 VW Beetle and it’s a pleasure to drive. This 1963 Beetle is reported to be a fully numbers matching car. This 1963 Beetle sports a freshly rebuilt original drivetrain, beautiful paint, and a well done cream and oatmeal interior. This 1965 Volkswagen Beetle is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This sinister black beetle is one of the meanest looking and best performing beetle we have had in our showroom. The black paint is slick and shows well but this bug has more than just good looks. The 145 series tire on the front VS the 215’s on the back begin to give you an idea of what this “Peoples car” is all about. With the hood having that classic tilt opening up top the story is becoming even more clear, this beetle was built to run. The built engine has a ton of aftermarket EMPI parts that give this air-cooled 4 enough power to really open any enthusiasts eyes. The split intake with a set of EMPI carbs really catches the eye while the note coming out of the custom exhaust lets everyone know you mean business. The 4-speed transmission is an absolute blast to shift thru with the pattern feeling tight and close just as it should. The interior is rather original other than that huge tach and a couple gauges added to the dash. That of course is until you see the full roll bar making it safer while adding some rigidity. If you have been wanting to get into one of a bug but have not found one that gets the blood pumping when you drive it this black beetle may be the one. Options on this 1965 Volkswagen Beetle include, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. This 1965 Volkswagen Bug is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this fun-loving 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. The Super Beetle was marketed in the United States as the top of the line for the Beetle range and this example for sale certainly lives up to that reputation. This Bug has been recently stripped and repainted at an expense of over $3,000 and shines brightly in its ‘Saturn Yellow’. The jet-black trimming, red racing stripes and powder-coated mag wheels with oversized radial tires make for a stylish touch. Originally, the Super Beetle came with a peppy 1600cc motor but ours has been upgraded even further to a spirited 1915cc tied to a 4-speed short-shift, synchro manual transmission. The engine rebuild was performed just 1000 miles ago and all receipts are included with the car, so the fun with this Bug is just getting started! Inside, you won’t believe you’re in a Volkswagen while you’re sat in the vinyl Recaro seats and fully carpeted floor. This is the kind of car you can enjoy every day as well as impress people at car shows with due to its build quality. This is a very competitive asking price for a car of this quality and it will not last long.
