Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer a super cool 1968 Mercury Cougar. This '68 has a very distinct look. She's covered in a slick coat of jet black paint which is always timeless. The vinyl top is also black so it blends right in. To add a little contrast a custom pinstripe has been added to the bodyline, hood scoop and rear wing. This Cougar sits on a set of Magnum 500 wheels with center knock offs wrapped in white wall tires. To just finish off the look, it's rocking a set of chrome side pipes. You certainly don't see a lot of Cougars with side pipes! The interior is black as well to complete the triple black appearance. The vinyl upholstery is in very nice shape as is the dash and gauges. A tachometer has been added to the steering column which holds the wood grain Grant steering wheel. Over all the car has a very classy appearance inside and out. Under the hood you'll find a 302 CID V8 with a light chrome treatment. It has power steering, and air conditioning. Perhaps one of the best part of the '68 Cougar is the hideaway headlights. You can see this beautiful 1968 Mercury Cougar in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or email@example.com with inquiries.
